بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشۡهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ١
63:1. O, Reformist! Whenever the hypocrites come to you, they swear that they would surely accept you as a Reformist. Allah knows that you are a Reformist. But Allah also knows that what in the hearts of those hypocrites is nothing but a lie. So, Allah bears witness that they are liars.
اِتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ جُنَّةٗ فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ٢
63:2. They take their swearing as their shields and work to obstruct those who function in the way of Allah. They think that everything they do is good. But they do not know that their hypocrisy will harm them.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ٣
63:3. You need to identify such people well. They verbally claim to have accepted His guidance. But they are working against it. Therefore, as per the canon of Allah, a curtain is formed in the hearts of such people.
۞وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ تُعۡجِبُكَ أَجۡسَامُهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَقُولُواْ تَسۡمَعۡ لِقَوۡلِهِمۡۖ كَأَنَّهُمۡ خُشُبٞ مُّسَنَّدَةٞۖ يَحۡسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيۡحَةٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ هُمُ ٱلۡعَدُوُّ فَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ٤
63:4. If you see them, their style, dress, and mannerisms will all appear to be excellent. There will be no defects in their speaking skills. But their inner situation will be different. It would be as if all their thinking senses have been swollen by termites on the wall of fallen logs. That is, they cannot make any decisions on their own. There will be no corresponding intellect. They shudder at the thought of being harmed, even if there is a small commotion somewhere. This is the situation of your foes. Beware of them. They will surely face destruction as per the canon of Allah. Where else can they go from the straight path?
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ يَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوۡاْ رُءُوسَهُمۡ وَرَأَيۡتَهُمۡ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ٥
63:5. If you tell them, “Come on, there is a reformist preaching the guidance of Allah. Go to him and take an oath to give up all your wrongdoings. He will guide you to a secure life as per the rule of Allah,” you will see them bow their heads in derision and go away arrogantly.
سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَسۡتَغۡفَرۡتَ لَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ لَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ٦
63:6. So for such people, your duty is the only show the path for a safe life and not make them follow it. They will experience the consequences of the evil deeds they are doing. And Allah's guidance is never available to the wayward community.
هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُواْ عَلَىٰ مَنۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّواْۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ٧
63:7. These are the conditions of hypocrites. They are the ones who told the people not to do any favors to the Reformist who guides according to the guidance of Allah and those who are with him. They were the ones who expected that those who were with the reformist would leave him and come back to them with no other way. But how can these hypocrites know that the blessings of Allah extend beyond the galaxies to the earth? So, the rule of Rabbu does not expect the help of such people.
يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعۡنَآ إِلَى ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ لَيُخۡرِجَنَّ ٱلۡأَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ٨
63:8. And they said, “When we return to Madinah, we will certainly see that the dignitaries there will expel the poor ones.” But how can they know the fact that dignity and value are obtained by observing the guidance of Allah and the constitutional laws based on it?
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُلۡهِكُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ٩
63:9. So, O followers of Our Guidance! Do not let your wealth and your children neglect the advice of Allah. Whoever acts against the advice of Allah for sake of his children and for the wealth they accumulate, will be the greatest losers.
وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ١٠
63:10. So, take advantage of this rare opportunity you have and use your wealth for social welfare schemes. Because it is not possible to do so after your death. If you do not do so, you will be longing with your Rabbu, on the verge of death, “Won't you give me a little more time? If You get me such an opportunity, I will spend it on good deeds and that I will become one of the righteous doers of good.”
O, People! Did you notice? The Quran says that spending for social welfare is a good and good deed. With this in mind, carry out the task of alleviating the suffering of the afflicted.
وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ١١
63:11. But the immutable law of Allah does not extend or shorten the prescribed life for anyone. Therefore, the prayer heard at the time of death will not be accepted. (See 4:18) And the deeds of every human being do not go unnoticed by Allah. So, make sure you get the benefits of your actions.
