بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡمَلِكِ ٱلۡقُدُّوسِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ١
62:1. All the creations in the universe and on earth are working at full speed to fulfill the plans of Allah. The fact that the universes function in a beautiful manner and on the basis of clear wisdom without any defect is a testament to the great management and immeasurable power of Allah.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي ٱلۡأُمِّيِّۧنَ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ٢
62:2. It is the will of Allah that the human world should function excellently as per His Schemes, just as the cosmos are functioning beautifully. Accordingly, He has chosen one of you as His Messenger. He has chosen him from a community where no Scripture has so far been given and announces His guidance. His main duty is to convey the message of guidance to the people, to dispel the superstitions prevalent among them, to purify their minds, to make clear to them the legal plans they are to follow and the benefits by following them. Before this, the people were in obvious misguidance.
Muhammad Nabisal finally arrives in the continuation of His revelation called Wahi. (See explanation 5:7) This verse refers to him only. But it is the will of Allah that those who accept Allah should continue to work he has done. (See 3: 144) Reason
وَءَاخَرِينَ مِنۡهُمۡ لَمَّا يَلۡحَقُواْ بِهِمۡۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ٣
62:3. The guidance which He gives is not confined to the people of that time or that region. These also apply to people who may come later as long as the world lasts. These are the guidelines that are revealed by the Supreme Power, Allah, and all His plans are based on clear wisdom.
ذَٰلِكَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ٤
62:4. All the guidance is the great blessings of Allah. He bestows them on those who are worthy to carry out His plans. Thus, all the plans of Allah are of immense blessings.
Only those who know and act on the true nature of such masterpiece guidelines will benefit. It is of no use to those who, without knowing the language of this scripture, carry it in a beautiful bag or keep reciting its words.
مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ حُمِّلُواْ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَحۡمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ ٱلۡحِمَارِ يَحۡمِلُ أَسۡفَارَۢاۚ بِئۡسَ مَثَلُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بَِٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ٥
62:5. There are those who carry the Scriptural Tourat that has been blessed before. So what benefit are they going to get? The donkey also carries many loads. Does it know what is in the load? The same is true of communities that falsely claim to accept His guidance but do not practice it. Therefore, the guidance of Allah will never be available to those who commit unjust acts.
قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوٓاْ إِن زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُاْ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ٦
62:6. The truth is that the Israelites claim to be close to Allah. So, they say that they alone are entitled to go to Paradise. (See 2:94) If they are truthful in their claim, ask them to love death and die.
وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوۡنَهُۥٓ أَبَدَۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ٧
62:7. They will never want to die because of the sin they have committed. What is the use of them surviving anyway? Will their wrongdoings go unnoticed by Allah?
قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ٨
62:8. O, Reformist! Tell them, “Wherever you flee to, you must embrace death. Then the consequences of what you did secretly and openly will appear before you according to the canon of Allah. Then, you will know the consequences of what you have been doing.
What is the cause of the plight of the Israelites? They turned guidance into mere religious rites. There are certain rituals that are considered to be pleasing to Rabbu. O followers of Our guidance! Do not deviate from the right path which We have shown.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوۡمِ ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُواْ ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ٩
62:9. O followers of Our guidance! If there is a call for a “congregation” to clarify the guidance of Rabbu, then leave your day-to-day works and hurry up to go to seek the guidance of Allah. If you know that they would help you a lot in your enlightened life, you will focus on it and hurry.
إِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ١٠
62:10. When the congregation is thus completed, do not sit over there. Disperse from there and continue your daily work in search of livelihoods as arranged by Allah. Let all other people who missed to join the assembly, know in detail the advice you received at the council.
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ تِجَٰرَةً أَوۡ لَهۡوًا ٱنفَضُّوٓاْ إِلَيۡهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآئِمٗاۚ قُلۡ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهۡوِ وَمِنَ ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ١١
62:11. But some of them, unaware of the importance of His guidance, rush to the side of a lucrative business or the side of something amusing if it happens. Explain to them that the guidance they receive from Allah is more important than that business and entertainment.
Chapter: 63 - Soorah: Munafiqoon (The Hypocrites)
