بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا١
91:1. Examine the sun, its radiant heat, and its rays.
وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا٢
91:2. Explore the moon, which shines as a reflection of sunlight, orbiting the earth.
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا٣
91:3. Also, explore the daylight of the sun.
وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰهَا٤
91:4. Explore the night that covers everything like a blanket.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا٥
91:5. Explore the planets and stars that swim most beautifully in the sky.
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا٦
91:6. Coming down from space, focus on the side of the earth where you live. Also, explore how it extends from the spherical shape and is designed to work all vertically.
وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا٧
91:7. Explore the human creation of living things on this earth. Also, explore how your physique is best organized.
These are all things that operate under the direct control of Rabbu. So, you will find it working without any flaws there. There is no disorder. But in the human world alone there are so many anomalies, quarrels, and problems! Why so? The only man in His creation is entitled to act with complete freedom according to His plan of action. So with that
فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا٨
91:8. Man has the energy to live by distinguishing between good and evil. So he can follow the wrong path, divide into many factions and develop hatred and rivalry within himself (Dis Integration of Human Personality) and go to a low grade. Or he can deviate from these, follow the guidance of Rabbu, and go to a higher level by creating a secure life.
قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا٩
91:9. Therefore, a society that cultivates humanity by following Rabbu's guidance will surely achieve the goal of superiority. Its labor will never be in vain.
وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا١٠
91:10. But a society that refuses to accept Our guidance and suppresses human resources under selfish domination will fail in its efforts. All sorts of chaos will take place without the development of human powers by such a misguided system.
كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ١١
91:11. Historical events bear witness to this greatness. Take the Samoodhu community for example. They disobeyed Our guidance because of their arrogance.
إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا١٢
91:12. A rogue came rushing in as the leader of those who opposed guidance. He was so ignorant that he could not know what he was doing.
فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا١٣
91:13. The reformist who was sent to that community advised that the blessed livelihoods of Rabbu should be made available to all. Introducing a female camel as its symbol, he said that it belongs to Allah - common to all. - 'Allah's camel in the world created by Allah” To allow the camel to drink the water when it comes to its round (7:73 & 26: 155). The contract was also made with that leader.
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا١٤
91:14. But they did not stick to their contract. They disabled that camel. Thus, they did not stop acting against the system of subsistence distribution of Allah.
Because of their wrongdoing, the law of “result consequences of human deeds” prescribed by Rabbu unleashed the whip of torment on them. And they were all buried in the dust. Thus, the place where they lived disappeared from the map of the world. Now it has become a traffic road.
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبَٰهَا١٥
91:15. When committing injustices and atrocities, they do not fear that such a situation will befall them.
So, the torment they received was a punishment for the cruelty they committed. Not personally given. Rather it was a catastrophe for them as a result of the atrocities they had committed. So, there is never any ambiguity or discrimination in the laws of Allah. The law He enacted will do its job at all times.
Chapter No. 92 – Soorah: Al Lyle (The Night)
