Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6: 162)
Although the title of this chapter is Poets, its final verses sternly rebuke the poets and the imaginary poems they write.
ط Crystal clear guidance without any flow. - س The Supreme power of Hearing and knowing - م Supreme knowledge.
26:1. This crystal-clear Guidance which is free from any sort of flaw is revealed by Allah, Who has the supreme power to hear all things and to know all happenings in the world.
26:2. The Scripture clearly explains the ethics of life to the people of the world.
26:3. O, Reformist! Feeling sorry for the people who do not accept the guidance and the tragedy that would befall them, you seem to be taking a risk of your life. (See 18:6)
You may have such anxieties. But in the matter of accepting divine guidance as far as man is concerned, it is left to his will (Ref. 18:29) So there is no compulsion that he must accept guidance (10:99) Had there been a plan of Allah to make him live in the same direction as any other living beings, He could have done so. For Allah, it is not a difficult thing. Then
26:4. We could have caused their necks to bow immovably and show Our evidence from the sky upon them.
Likewise, it is not difficult for Allah to perform such miracles as per their desire and make them believe. But that will not be the true guidance. So the true meaning of faith is that man should explore, know, think and accept His guidance with his own will.
26:5. Refusing to accept such guidance is something that has been going on since the olden days. Whenever anyone revealed the guidelines from Benefactor, most of the people have refused to accept.
26:6. In the same way, today, when it comes to preaching guidance, they are refusing to accept them and preventing them. And they are making fun of these. The consequences of their opposition and ridicule will soon come before them.
26:7. Do they not study the different types of plants that grow on earth? Do you not notice that a plant and a tree grow in pairs from each seed?
In the same way, the definite consequences of every action of man will surely occur. That too will come to the fore in a fixed period. No one can stop it.
26:8. Though there is much evidence in this for the wise people, most of the people do not think about it and accept it.
26:9. But, whether the people accept His guidance or not, it is not going to harm Him. He has the power to bring about the consequences of their actions. The fact that man is given the opportunity to repent without being immediately punished for his actions reflects the infinite grace of Allah. (16:61)
To understand His greatness, historical evidence is brought forward as evidence. Allah did not destroy the people of Reformist Moosa Nabi or Fir’aun, the king of that land for their wrongdoings. Instead, He sent Reformist Moosa Nabi to guide them.
26:10. The Reformist Moosa Nabi was directed by Rabbu to go to his people who were engaged in unrighteous deeds.
26:11. He also asked him to go to Fir’aun's people and tell them about the devastation that would be caused by their wrongdoing. Ask them if they want to recover from it.
26:12. Moosa Nabi said, “O, My Rabb! It looks like they won't listen to me. I am afraid they would try to disprove Your guidance.”
26:13. “So I do not have the strength to stand up for myself and argue with them. I could not even speak fluently. So, I need my brother Haroon's help.”
26:14. “Not only that, I have a murder charge against me. I'm afraid they might kill me for that.” (Ref 28:15-21)
26:15. Rabbu’s reply was, “Not so. You both go with supportive guidance and explain them to them. Of course, We will support you. We know all things.”
26:16. “So go to Fir’aun and tell him, “We have come to convey the message of guidance of Allah, the Creator of the universe.”
26:17. Tell them, “The command of Allah is to release the people of the Israelite community and send them with us.”
That is, the government must act in a way that treats everyone equally. You are currently treating the Israeli community like slaves. This attitude should be abandoned. Otherwise, they demanded the king to free them and send them with them.
26:18. Fir’aun said, “Did we not raise you from your childhood? Have you not lived with us for many years?”
26:19. “And you committed murder and escaped. Is this the exchange you make for it? You forgot everything!”
26:20. Reformist Moosa Nabi replied, “The killing was accidental. I did not kill intentionally.”
26:21. “I fled from you to the country of Madhyan, due to fear of your punishment, as I could not prove to you by telling the reality about that incident. After that, I lived there for some years. (See 20:40) Then I received the wisdom of ‘guidance’ from Allah. Thus I was chosen as one of the Reformists.”
26:22. “Is it fair to say that in gratitude for the help you have given me, I should leave the people of the Israelite community to live as slaves to you? There is no room for talk about it.”
26:23. On hearing this, Fir’aun, in an attempt to divert attention said, “Whom do you refer as the Creator of all the universes! Who is that Rabbu?” (See 20:49)
26:24. Reformist Moosa Nabi said, “It is Allah Who created the universe, the earth, and all that are between them. It is He who directs them to perfection and excellence. (See 20:50). If you accept His greatness with certainty, there will be no difficulty in understanding the truth.”
26:25. When Fir’aun heard this, he said to his Councilors, “Have you all heard what he said?” He asked teasingly.
26:26. Reformist Moosa Nabi said, “There is only one Rabbu, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. And also, the Creator and Sustainer of you all. He is Rabbu of your forefathers.”
26:27. Fir’aun said to his councilors, “The one who has come to you claiming to be the Messenger of Allah is none but a madman.”
26:28. Ignoring Fir’aun's words, Reformist Moosa Nabi said, “Rabbu, about Whom I speak to you is the One who created and sustains everything from East to West. If you think about it, you will understand the truth.”
That is, Allah, the Creator of all things, is the Creator and Sustainer of man too. So, while other creations function properly according to Allah’s command, man must also act according to His command. Only then will his life be better. He explained this to them. Fir’aun could not digest hearing this. So, he said to Moosa in anger, “In this country, only my authority will function.”
26:29. “Are you telling me to obey the command of someone other than myself? Even if it’s your Rabbu, His orders will not be applicable here. Otherwise, I will imprison you.”
26:30. Reformist Moosa Nabi said, “Will you imprison me if I bring before you a clear and conclusive guidance?” Is the word of the king the law of the land?”
26:31. Upon hearing this, Fir’aun said, “If you are truthful, then submit to us the evidence.”
26:32. So Moosa Nabi placed before him the guidance of Rabbu he had. But it appeared to Fir’aun as if it could swallow his regime. (Ref 7: 107-108, 20: 17-25, 28: 31-32)
26:33. He also mentioned the benefits that will be available to the government and the people of the country by following His guidance. To other listeners, they were exhilarating and a bright white paper statement.
That is, if you rule in the way that Allah has shown, there will be social balance. There will be no difference between King and the subjects. Everyone will have access to necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter. Those councilors understood this fact. So Fir’aun feared that they would turn in favor of Moosa Nabi. Therefore,
26:34. Fir’aun said to the councilors, “All these words are meant to deceive the people. These are charming speeches that make something that could not happen and come true.”
26:35. “He wants to drive you out of your country with such charming talk. So, what do you think about this?” He asked.
26:36. And they said, Give him and his brethren a little respite. Call the most eloquent clergymen in the cities. Issue an order for this.”
That is, some of the councilors understood the truth. But that is not what Fir’aun would accept. So their idea was that they could talk to the clergy who supported Fir’aun's rule to refute the arguments of the Reformist Moosa Nabi.
26:37. And they said to him, to pass on an order to bring to you all the well-versed priests of the country.
26:38. Likewise, on one day all the priests assembled. (20:59)
26:39. Further notice was given to the public. They were also invited.
26:40. Because, if the clergy succeed in their argument, all the people will follow them.
26:41. According to that plan, the clergy came to Fir’aun and asked, “If we win this argument with Moosa, surely will we not be rewarded for it?”
26:42. Fir’aun replied, “Yes. Surely available. I will give you a high position and make you close to me,” (See 20: 61-62)
26:43. Accordingly, all gathered together on the day of the contest. Reformist Moosa Nabi said to them, “Submit your opinions first.”
26:44. So they narrated their religious ideologies and myths. They said, “By the command of Fir’aun's honor, we will prevail today.”
26:45. Moosa Nabi then clarified the facts of the guidance and their purposes. It swallowed up their false fantasies. (See 7: 117, 20:69)
26:46. All the clergies, who listened to the guidance given by Reformist Moosa Nabi surrendered.
26:47. They declared that they too accept the guidance of Allah, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe.
26:48. And they proclaimed that the One and Only Allah would be the Rabbu of Moosa Nabi and Haroon Nabi.
26:49. This made unexpected Fir’aun angry. He said to them, “Did you listen to Moosa Nabi and lean towards him without asking me anything?” Surely, he is a greater sorcerer than all of you. (See 7: 123) So you will soon experience the consequences. I will cut off your leg and hand and crucify everyone.”
26:50. The clergymen who heard these shouts and rage said, “Do whatever you want to punish. This is not going to affect us in any way. Now we know better about our Creator. (See also - 20:72) So every action we take goes towards the goal set by Allah. We learned from Reformist Moosa Nabi that we must face the consequences.”
26:51. They said, “We firmly believe that Allah will protect us from the evil consequences of false teachings made by us in ignorance because we are the foremost among those who accept the call of Reformist Moosa Nabi, Reformist Haroon, and the guidance of Allah.” (See also 7: 126)
Following this, the Israelites were persecuted in various ways by the Fir’aun's people. But whenever the Fir’auns were in trouble, they begged Moosa Nabi to help them. Fir’aun also promised to free the Israelites if they did so. But he did not stand by his word. So on the advice from Allah, Moosa Nabi planned to take the followers from his community, secretly emigrate and leave the country. (Ref: 7:127-136)
26:52. In the same way, the message of revelation came to Reformist Moosa Nabi from Allah that he should leave the country secretly with his companions and emigrate. It was also announced in advance that Fir’aun's troops would pursue them.
That is, the teachings of the Reformist Moosa Nabi were widely spread among the Israelites. It is evident from this that there were many who followed his advice.
26:53. Fir’aun hired spies on his part to thwart these and to find out what was going on in the city.
26:54. And they sent secret messages to Fir’aun, saying, “Surely only some of the Israelites are activists.”
26:55. And they told Fir’aun that they were acting against them so that they had incurred their wrath.
26:56. They informed that their every action was being meticulously monitored and that they were all cautious.
Thus, they took severe action against the Israelites. On the other hand, the condition of the Fir’aun's regime continued to deteriorate, according to the law of “the consequences of human actions” set by Allah.
26:57. As per the laws of Allah, the comfortable life and economy of the Fir’aun's and council gradually declined.
26:58. The wealth they possessed gradually diminished and their dignified lives were snatched away.
26:59. The Israelites were working tirelessly according to Allah's guidance and were gaining possessions.
However, the rule of the Fir’auns was an obstacle to the progress of the enslaved Israelites. So Reformist Moosa Nabi decided to take them and emigrate from there, as planned, in order to train them to the fullest extent and make them better activists. Accordingly, he left with his comrades overnight secretly. There was one river across the way they were going. They passed through a bridge built by the Israelites. (20:77)
26:60. And when Fir’aun heard of it, he and his soldiers followed them. He arrived at the riverbank the next day morning.
26:61. The Israelites were on the other side of the river, and Fir’aun's army was on the other side. When the two crowds saw each other, the Israelites were afraid, saying, “Now it seems certain that we will be caught.”
26:62. To which Reformist Moosa Nabi replied, “Never. Surely the guidance of my Rabbu is with me. I will find a solution to this soon.”
26:63. As Allah had already informed Reformist Moosa Nabi, he crossed the river with his companions across the bridge (see 20:77). The river was so deep that its banks looked like mountains.
26:64. Following this, Fir’aun and his army approached to cross the river.
26:65. Reformist Moosa Nabi and his Companions had already crossed the river safely.
26:66. Then Fir’aun and his army fell into the deep river and drowned.
26:67. Surely, there are many lessons for the people who use intellect. But most of the people do not think about it and accept it.
That is, at the time of the Reformists or in modern times, if any action is done after proper planning, it will surely be successful. Leaving them and acting in a mere emotional way will only lead to destruction rather than benefits. Reformist Moosa Nabi traveled with his Companions for a lofty cause. That too was pre-planned and acted upon. But what Fir’aun had was just rage and carnage. So this event shows that in the conflict between justice and injustice, justice will finally win.
7: 136 describes the event of crossing the Nile.
26:68. And remember that the plans of your Rabbu are greater than anything and that He is the Merciful, the Protector of all.
26:69. Similarly, mention the life history of Reformist Ibrahim Nabi.
26:70. He repeatedly questioned his father and his community about the true nature of the deity they worshiped.
26:71. They said, “These are the idols that we adorned in temples. They are what we worship.”
26:72. Reformist Ibrahim said, “Do these deities which you worship, have the ability to listen to your prayers?”
26:73. “Or do they have the ability to do good or evil to you?” He asked.
26:74. The people who did not know the true state of those deities said, “We do not know anything about it. We worship what our ancestors worshiped.”
26:75. “Then have you ever noticed what you are worshiping?” He asked.
26:76. “Have you or your forefathers ever considered the true status of the deities they worshiped?" He asked.
26:77. “Surely the deities that you worship are quite opposite to me and the plan of Allah, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. So, I never accepted these.”
26:78. “It is Allah who not only created the universe but also gave me guidance on how to live.
Do the deities you worship show you any right path?
26:79. “Is it Allah who makes all the arrangements I need to live?”
26:80. "And when I have a disease, it is Allah who makes medical arrangements to cure any disease."
That is, all the diseases that afflict the people of the world can be cured with the help of herbs and minerals available on the earth. It is only Allah who made those arrangements. What does it mean to leave Allah who has made all these arrangements and keep begging in front of the idols to fulfill your needs? So, he taught his father and the people of the community as follows.
26:81. “Death will come to me according to the same laws of Allah. Then I have to answer for what I have done in this world. For that, he will raise me again.”
26:82. “So I know that there is definitely a time when I will reap the rewards of the good deeds I do or the consequences of the evil deeds I do. I seek the help of Allah to protect me from the harm caused by small mistakes made in ignorance.”
26:83. “I pray to Allah to give me the wisdom to remove the bad habits among the people and create a better society. I want to be one of those people who lived a better life and made remarkable achievements in world history.”
26:84. “And I pray to Allah to give me a good reputation so that I can be a role model for future generations.”
26:85. “I pray to Allah to make me and my rightful heirs bless paradise.”
26:86. “I want my father to have a safe life as well. But he is one of the misguided!”
26:87. “O, Rabbu! I do not want to be humiliated in the periods when the effects of human actions appear. I pray for Your guidance.”
26:88. “In such times my good deeds will speak for me. Neither my wealth nor my children will be of any use.”
26:89. “Whoever obeys the counsel of Allah in his heart, then he is worthy of the honor of Allah” (See 37:84).
26:90. “Such are those who act piously followers of the guidance of Allah. Paradise is approaching on their side.”
26:91. “On the contrary, Hell is near in the life of those who go astray leaving behind the guidance of Allah.”
26:92. Then He would ask them, “Where are the idols you worshiped?” That will be the question.
26:93. “Do they help you who has left the guidance of Allah and worshiped deities? Or do they deserve to help themselves?”
26:94. “Then those who went astray and the clergy who led them astray will be thrown straight into Hell.”
26:95. “That is, all those misguided by following Iblees will be thrown into Hell.”
26:96. “There, those who misguided and the misguided will reason among themselves.”
26:97. Those who went astray would say to the clergy, “By the witness of Allah! What we have followed you was our greatest error.”
26:98. “It is our misguidance that we considered you all to be our guides and protectors of all.
26:99. “We thought you were good friends. But you have been proved to be guilty.”
26:100. “We committed a big mistake thinking that you would intercede for us”
26:101. “It is not right to consider you as a kind friend”
26:102. “If we find a way back to the world, we will surely accept Allah's guidance and act.”
These are the true things that Reformist Ibrahim preached to the people about the condition of those who reject the guidance of Allah. He spoke about the heavenly life procured by following Allah's guidance and of the torments of hell that result from acting in exchange for it.
26:103. There are many lessons for people who think about this advice. However, most people do not think about this and act accordingly.
That is, there are certainly “consequences for human action.” Accordingly, there will certainly be good results for good deeds and bad consequences for evil deeds. And when an individual or a society follows the wrong path and suffers hell as a result, there is no point in regretting their actions at that time. You just have to be more careful in this. So, keep this in mind and act according to Allah's guidance. And some believe that there is rebirth in this world. That is a completely wrong notion. The fact is that the vortex of time moves forward and never goes back. So it is clear from the above passages that there is no place for the talk of rebirth.
26:104. So, your Rabbu is the One Who has the power to cause consequences according to how a man acts. At the same time, the arrangement to keep everyone safe reflects the infinite mercy of Allah.
26:105. Similarly, the community of Nooh Nabi refused to accept the guidance of Allah and called it a lie.
26:106. Reformist Nooh, who was born and raised in the same society said to his community, “You are acting against the advice of Allah! Do you not fear the consequences?”
26:107. He used to say to the people, “Surely all the advice I give is from Allah. Those guidelines will lead you to a peaceful life.”
26:108. So, fear Allah, accept the advice I have received through revelation and live accordingly.
26:109. I do not inform these for my benefit. I advise this for your benefit. I get the livelihoods I need from Rabbu, the Nourisher of the whole world.”
26:110. So, fear the law of Allah, who has ordained the consequences of man's deeds. Act according to the counsel of Allah that is available to me.
But instead of accepting his advice, they criticized the quality of life of those who listened to his advice.
26:111. “How can we trust and accept your speech, when only low-class people are following you?” They asked.
26:112. To which he replied, “I do not ask about the occupation of those who come to me. I don't need it.”
What matters to me is the extent to which those who come here focus on guidance matters and the extent to which they are nurtured. Because
26:113. He said, “The status of being poor or rich is that which is commensurate with their hard works according to the rules prescribed by Allah. Its accounting case is with Him. The inquiry into it will take place with them. You don’t know this?”
26:114. He said, “Therefore I cannot expel those who accept Allah's guidance and act according to it.”
26:115. “My task is to take precautionary measures against the adverse consequences of wrongdoing in accordance with the law of “the ultimate result of human action” laid down by Allah. It is his choice whether to accept them or not.”
26:116. Unable to answer this, they began to intimidate him. They said, “O Nooh! Stop your guidance propaganda. If you do not stop, we will stone you to death.”
26:117. He said, “O, My Rabbu! My community has falsified Your advice.”
26:118. “So, make a decisive verdict between me and them. Save me and those who accept Your guidance from their conspiracies.”
26:119. So, We asked him to build a ship (see 11:36). We saved him and his companions by boarding in it.
26:120. Others were drowned in the aggressive floods.
26:121. Of course, there are lessons in this historical event. But most people do not think about it and accept it.
Allah's plan is to make everyone live a happy life. For this, Allah reveals guidance through Reformists. But man does not study their true condition and come forward to live accordingly. Living blindly on the basis of ancestral means leads to losing power and facing dangers. If they had obeyed the advice of Reformist Nooh they too would have recovered safely. The same law applies today. Precautions should be taken to protect against natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. (See 7:79 for more details)
26:122. So, your Rabbu is the One who has the power to cause consequences according to how the man acts. At the same time, the arrangement for all to live in safety reflects the immeasurable mercy of Allah.
26:123. Similarly, the history of the ‘Aadhu’ community is also important in historical events. They also denied the messenger who had given them Our guidance.
26:124. The Reformist Hoodh was the one who came to convey His guidance to his community. He was born and raised in the same society. He advised his community to stay away from wrongdoing and follow His guidance.
26:125. He said that he was presenting those guidelines on behalf of Allah. They are the guide to a peaceful life, he said.
26:126. “So, fear the evil consequences of acting against the guidance of Allah. Act according to the counsel of Allah that is available to me.”
26:127. “I do not advise for my own gain. I suggest it for your benefit. I get the livelihoods I need from Rabbu, the Nourisher of the whole world.
26:128. You are building unnecessary monuments on every high hill for vain pride! Can't you just build houses useful for the people instead?”
26:129. “Did you think that you could build mansions like this and live forever?”
That is to say, if the community focuses on the well-being of the individuals without caring for the welfare of the people, there will be inequality in the society. So, law and order will deteriorate.
26:130. Reformist Hoodh Nabi charged, “You catch the weaker section, as criminals and punish them cruelly! This results in social inequality.”
26:131. “So, fear the evil consequences of acting against the guidance of Allah. Act according to the counsel of Allah that is available to me.
26:132. By the provisions of Allah, you get various livelihoods. You know this well. So, follow the guidance of Allah, the One and Only Sustainer.
26:133. And you know that all your cattle and offspring obtain livelihoods by the provision of Allah.
26:134. Besides, there are gardens and waterfalls where you can live.
If you want to live with these lasting joys, do not spoil the social balance. This is the command of Allah.
26:135. He said, “I fear that you will suffer a lot in the time to come when the ultimate result of human deeds according to the prescribed laws of Allah will appear.”
Thus, the Reformist used to give advice and cautioned his people. But most of them did not listen to his advice.
26:136. They simply said, “It is the same whether you admonish us or not. We will never listen to you.”
26:137. “You often intimidate by telling us about the sufferings. This is the customs of the ancestors.”
26:138. “We don’t foresee any such torment to befall on us as you say. So, everything you say is just intimidation.”
26:139. Thus, the community of Hoodh Nabi disobeyed the advice given by the Reformist and continued their wrongdoings. So, they were caught up in the destruction caused as per the law of Allah. Of course, there are many lessons involved. But most people do not think about it and act on it.
The purpose of His guidance is to save the community from dangers before it comes. That is, one must abstain from evil deeds before destruction occurs. If they act with precautionary guidance, they would recover from the natural disaster that had befallen there. (See 11:57) The community will not get elevation in building monuments and temples without caring about social harmony. Rather they will lead to destruction.
26:140. Your Rabbu is the Almighty, who causes consequences according to how Man acts. At the same time, the fact that everyone is organized to live in safety reflects the immeasurable mercy of Allah.
26:141. Similarly, the community of ‘Samoodh’ denied the Reformist who conveyed the guidance of Allah.
26:142. Reformist Salih, belonged to the same community. He advised his community to fear the consequences of acting against the guidance of Allah.
26:143. He used to say that those guidelines were conveyed on behalf of Allah and that they were the guidance for a peaceful life.
26:144. “So, fear the evil consequences of acting contrary to the guidance of Allah. Act according to the counsel of Allah that is available to me.
26:145. “I do not tell this advice for my own gain. I suggest it for your benefit. I get the livelihoods I need from Rabbu, the Nourisher of the whole world.”
26:146. “Do you think that you can live in comforts forever by acting in a way that disrupts social equilibrium? Do you think that there is none to question about your wrongdoing?”
26:147. “There are gardens and fountains where you can live.”
26:148. “Your Cultivation and Grains and Clusters of Crisp Trees”
26:149. “You build houses on the mountains to live in luxury”
All of these are important to human life. But if these resources are used only for personal gains, social degradation occurs. All of these riches will be snatched away from you over time. That means these will not stay with you permanently.
26:150. “So, fear the consequences of acting against the guidance of Allah. Act according to the counsel of Allah that is available to me.”
26:151. “Do not follow those who spend luxuriously and engage in anti-social activity.”
26:152. “Because they do not care about social harmony and want to cause chaos and confusion in the country.”
Thus, the Reformist Salih taught to his community. But most of them did not listen to his advice.
26:153. The people said, “Indeed, all your talk appears to deceive the people.”
26:154. “If you look at yourself, you are just an ordinary human being like us. But you often threaten us with destruction. If it is true, then you will have to bring proof and prove it.”
“Currently, there is a growing disparity between those who are in society and those who are weak. If this situation continues, the situation will get worse and you will face destruction. So, I have an idea to build social cohesion and bring about balance.”
26:155. “I introduce this female camel before you as a symbol of the social harmony. A round will come to it to get water one after the other. Let each section of people use water properly. Let the camel I introduced also drink water when it gets its round. As long as this camel is safe, it would mean that there is social harmony among you.” (see 11:64).
26:156. “So, do not harm that camel. If you do so, you will lose control of society and face destruction. You will be caught in its torment.”
26:157. But they did not keep that camel to last long. They disabled it in due course. Thus, they harmed themselves.
26:158. So, the torments afflicted them according to the law of Allah, “the consequences of human deeds.” Of course, there are lessons for the people of the world in this. However, most people do not think about this and act accordingly.
Water scarcity is still a global problem in modern times. This is a factor in the ongoing conflict between nations. The problem of the Cauvery River in our country remains an unresolved problem to this day. If they had followed the formula of Reformist Salih Nabi for water distribution as advised to his community, the problem would have been solved. Because the people did not consider water to be a blessing from Allah. People today do not even think about it. No one takes it for granted.
And the law that is being enacted in the country, big or small, must be upheld by all. There should be no distinction between rich and poor. When the rule of law is violated, there opens ways to intensify conflicts in society. Thus, social control is disrupted. The same thing happened with the so-called Ashabut Sabbath. (See 2:65).
26:159. So, your Rabbu is the One who has the power to produce consequences according to how the man acts. At the same time, the arrangement to keep all living safely reflects the infinite mercy of Allah.
26:160. Similarly, the community of the Reformist Looth Nabi is included in the list of those who denied the guidance.
26:161. Reformist Looth Nabi was born and raised in his community. He advised his community to think about the evil consequences of acting against the guidance of Allah.
26:162. He used to say that he was preaching those guidelines on behalf of Allah and that they were the guidance for a peaceful life.
26:163. “So, fear the consequences of acting against the guidance of Allah. Act according to the counsel of Allah that is available to me.”
26:164. “I do not do this advice for my own gain. I suggest it for your benefit. I get the livelihoods I need from Rabbu, the Nourisher of the whole world.”
26:165. “You are committing a disgraceful act that no one in the world has ever done before! (See 29:28) You are engaging in homosexuality!” He was warning his community.
26:166. “Yes, you leave your wives that Allah has created for you. Isn’t this a great crime? You really are an outrageous community.”
26:167. And they said, “O Looth. If you do not stop interfering in our affairs, we will surely evict you.”
26:168. On hearing this, Reformist Looth Nabi said, “What you are doing is very abominable, so I strongly oppose it.”
26:169. “O, My Rabbu! Save me and those who follow me from such evils.”
26:170. In the same way, Allah, by His arrangement, sent a message to him and his followers. Thus, He saved them. The rest of the people were buried in a volcanic eruption there.
26:171. His wife was not among those who escaped (see 7:83) because his wife refused to leave the place.
26:172. Then she and all the others perished.
26:173. Yet the town of ‘Sodhoom’ was destroyed by volcanic eruptions and torrential rains of fireballs occurred as per the law of Allah. The torrential volcanic downpour that fell on those who were warned was terrible.
26:174. Of course, there are lessons in this. However, most people do not think about it and act on it.
That is, homosexuality is not just a matter against the natural law. It will also push the man away from humanity and lead him into a worse position than the beast. Those who are indulged in such acts will not only do any injustice in the country but also do all sorts of inappropriate things. (See 29:29) So they went overboard in every way. However, the people were warned by the Reformist Looth Nabi about the impending catastrophe there. They ignored the warning just as they ignored all the advices of the Reformist and were finally doomed.
And it will be very difficult for the man to get rid of any evil habit. That is why the guidance of Allah instructs man to abstain from evil deeds. (5:90)
26:175. So, your Rabbu is the One who has the power to bring about consequences according to how the man acts. At the same time, the arrangement to keep all living safely reflects the infinite mercy of Allah.
26:176. Similarly, the Messengers of Allah conveyed the message of guidance to the community of Aykatha
26:177. The Reformist Shu’aib advised them to beware of the evil consequences of acting in violation of the laws of Rabbu.
26:178. He used to say that he was presenting those guidelines on behalf of Allah and that they were the guidance for a peaceful life.
26:179. “So, fear the consequences of acting contrary to the guidance of Allah. Act according to the counsel of Allah that is available to me.”
26:180. “I am not giving this advice for my own gain. I say this for your benefit. I get the livelihoods I need from Rabbu, the Nourisher of the whole world.”
26:181. “Abandon your wrongdoing. Don't under weigh while buying and selling. Keep up the balanced weighing system.”
26:182. “If the socio-economic balance is to prevail in a country, there should not be perversity in trades and financial matters. The judiciary must function fairly.”
26:183. “Therefore, do not do injustice to the poor and laymen by being careless in the matter of trades. Do not underestimate the value of giving to them. Otherwise, there will be inequality in the country and chaos will only increase. Do not create a
situation like this. (See 11:85)
That is, there are flaws in the current regime. He said that they should be rectified and appropriate laws should be enacted to bring about social equality.
26:184. “And follow the guidance of Allah, Who created you and your forefathers. Further, divert your attitude towards good things in life.”
Thus, the Reformist Shu'ayb Nabi repeatedly advised his community. But his community did not accept his advice.
26:185. They said, “Indeed, all your talks are just to deceive people.”
26:186. “You look like an ordinary human being like us. So, we don't consider it necessary to comment on such fabrications.”
26:187. “If we observe your speech, you claim to have some celestial connection. And you often threaten us with destruction. If this is true, then make a small part of that pain fall on us.”
26:188. To which the Reformist said, “How can I bring torment from the sky? Allah is not unaware of what you are doing. The consequences will surely come in due course.”
26:189. In the same way, they disobeyed the advice of the Reformists and continued in wrongdoing. So, torments surrounded them as a result of their evil deeds. And they were all buried in the earthquake there (see 11: 94-95)
26:190. Of course, there are many lessons in this for those who think and act. However, most people do not accept this.
That is, if social values and humanity are to be preserved in a country, economic equality and the judiciary must be upheld. Allah's guidance instructs us to act with both in mind. Therefore, people should stop acting with selfishness and come forward to act according to His guidance with the public interest in mind. If this is not done, the difference between the haves and have nots will expand. Many problems will erupt and they will not be able to live peacefully. Eventually, such a country will face destruction. This is the standard law that Allah has established.
26:191. So, your Rabbu is the One who has the power to cause consequences according to how the man acts. At the same time, the arrangement to keep all living safely reflects the infinite mercy of Allah.
26:192. This Qur’an too is blessed by Allah, just as the previous Reformists were guided by Allah.
26:193. The Qur'an is bestowed through the communicative system called ‘Roohul Amin’, the natural forces established to convey the message without least difference.
26:194. O, Reformist! This Qur’an is revealed into your heart. (See 2:97) Its purpose is to warn the people of the world about the wrongdoings and the consequences of doing so.
26:195. That is why this Qur’an is clearly revealed in the language you speak.
26:196. All the instructions in it are of the original text of previous Scriptures.
26:197. Well-known scholars in the Bani Israel community are well aware of this fact. Isn't this also evidence for Our claim?
They also know that these Scriptures are not the product of human thought. What's the point of just knowing? They are jealous that this reformist does not belong to their race (see 2:98-99). Therefore,
26:198. Even if this Scripture is given in a foreign language,
26:199. Or even if the reformist informs the contents in it, they would not accept it.
That is, they have a habit of finding lame excuses for not accepting Allah's guidance. If the revelations are in a foreign language, they will ask why not in our mother tongue? If it is revealed in their mother tongue, they will ask why not in a foreign language.
26:200. Such is the attitude in the hearts of the guilty.
26:201. So, they do not heed the warning given in this Qur’an. So, it is as if they do not think about it until they experience the pain that is caused by their misdeeds.
26:202. The consequences of the wrongdoings they are committing are occurring slowly without their knowledge. Those effects will suddenly appear in front of them.
26:203. They will be anxious if some more time be given to live in transition.
26:204. This is the reality that is going to happen. Do they rush towards such torments, even after knowing this?
Does that mean they continue to engage in wrongdoing?
26:205. Have you noticed their situation? Even if it makes them feel comfortable for many more years, they will never change their course.
26:206. Then when torments come as a result of their wrongdoing,
26:207. None of the wealth they have accumulated will bring any benefit. They just have to undergo torments.
26:208. Thus, for every community in the world, the precautionary messages have been coming from Allah from time to time. (See 14:4, 17:15) Those who disobey that counsel are doomed.
26:209. It is not the best course of action to destroy any community without such precaution. So, they were given the opportunity to make a living by Our advice. So, no injustice happened on the part of Allah.
What exists now is that this Qur’an was blessed through Roohul Amin. All of these are lies.
26:210. Do they think that this Qur’an originated in human thought? Or do they think that this Scripture has been written on his own accord?
26:211. No such power is given to any individual. So, no one can write this as fantasy with his own thinking.
That is to say, some people think that man can get such guidance with Kashf or Ilham. Kashf or Ilham is said to have some kind of power if one chants certain words daily and then can speak to Allah through dreams. While such people can go beyond human nature can become divine Avtar’s. These are all misconceptions. Such people cannot show anyway for the development of the country.
26:212. That is why those who act selfishly according to their mental desires, run away when they hear the advice of this Quran.
26:213. So do not follow any other means equating with Allah’s guidance. If you do so, you too will suffer a lot over time.
26:214. And take this Scriptural advice first to your close relatives and warn them of the consequences of wrongdoing.
26:215. Accept Allah's guidance and be kind to those who follow you. Make sure that their basic needs are met.
26:216. But if you find them acting against it, inform them that you are departing.
26:217. And act with full confidence in the guidance of Allah which transcends all things. Your Rabbu is Most Merciful.
26:218. Rabbu, the One, is not unaware of your every action.
26:219. And Rabbu is well aware of your dealings with those who fully comply with His guidance and those who do not.
26:220. Surely Rabbu is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
26:221. “Shall I tell you who is acting in accordance with the devil of the will?” Ask them.
26:222. “He who lies and commits sin will fall into the snare of Satan, which is the lust of the heart.
26:223. Such people will spread rumors along with lies in the news they get here and there. Most of the news in it will be false.
26:224. Similarly, poets portray lies as true in their poems. They are impressively followed by the devils.
That is, poets, express their ideas in a poetic style. There will not be any high purpose or goal in them. Those are the things that are said in the imagination. So, there is no benefit to the people. But the believers who act in accordance with the guidance of Allah will devise various schemes for the welfare of the people and work tirelessly
26:225. But if you look at the poets, they would narrate natural commentaries in a poetic style with imagination. In order to gain name and fame from the people, they are wandering in the forest and on the hills. What they say has nothing to do with world events. Everything they say is fantasy.
26:226. And they keep saying things that they cannot do.
26:227. But the condition of those who gladly accept the guidance of Allah and act will never be so. They work on creative welfare programs for the betterment of the community. They will act in remembrance of what Allah has instructed in every matter.
They will take stern action against any wrongdoing. If they leave the wrongdoers a free hand, they will know what the consequences will be and so they will do everything possible to control it.
But poets have no such welfare plans. Just poetic words overwhelm them. If there is any injustice, they will put people to sleep by singing suitable poems. So where is the place of poets or poetry in a society that follows divine guidance? (See 36:69)
