بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ١
102:1. Do you know what makes humanity forgetful? That is the intense greed that overtakes one another in amassing wealth. (57:20 & 83: 2 - 6)
If one keeps this attitude in moderation to meet his needs then there will be a limit and a fair amount of it. (See 3:14) But if this desire is to outdo one another, it will not suffice.
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ٢
102:2. Thus his curiosity to amass wealth will last until he dies.
كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ٣
102:3. This is not an incomprehensible fact. If you think about it with a little restraint, you will soon realize how devastating this can be.
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ٤
102:4. Yes. So you can quickly understand what the consequences are.
كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ٥
102:5. If you think a little deeper yourself, you will realize by your senses the fact that this tendency of man is dragging him to the side of hell.
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ٦
102:6. But you don’t seem to think about it. Because you act blindly without thinking at all the reality that is going to happen;
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ٧
102:7. Therefore, you fall into that hell and see it with your real eyes. This is the reality that is going to happen.
ثُمَّ لَتُسَۡٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ٨
102:8. At that moment you will be asked as to how you used the blessings of Rabbu which were given to take care of the people from all walks of life. You will also be asked whose sweat drops were mixed in the comforts you enjoyed. You will be asked whose labor you have taken away. (21:13-15)
