بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
حمٓ١
ح - The Book of All Praiseworthy - مٓ - Revealed through Mohammed Nabi
45:1. The Scripture which is bestowed through the Reformist Muhammad deserves all praise and admiration.
تَنزِيلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ٢
45:2. This is a Scripture from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise, who controls everything in the universe and the earth.
إِنَّ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٣
45:3.Those who have accepted Allah’s guidance will research His various creations in the universe and the earth. They will study them and use them for the development of human resources. (See 3: 190-191)
وَفِي خَلۡقِكُمۡ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُوقِنُونَ٤
45:4. In addition, there is much evidence of Almighty Allah's power in creating you, and countless creatures throughout the world, you will learn that all of them have been created for the betterment of human life. (See 2:29)
وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزۡقٖ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَتَصۡرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ٥
45:5. They will also think about the alternating night and day. Think about how they get livelihood through the rainfall from the sky, converting the lifeless land into fertile land suitable for cultivation. People who think about these will get many proofs of Allah Almighty.
تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتۡلُوهَا عَلَيۡكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۢ بَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُؤۡمِنُونَ٦
45:6. This Scripture, which contains Allah’s guidance, is given to you so that human societies may function better with moral virtues, just as the works of Allah contribute to the development of human resources. Even after it is clearly explained, what other sources of guidance (Hadhees) do the people seek?
So instead of living a better life by studying the creations of the world and following the guidance of Rabbu (see 39:67), do they want to be carried away by merely narrating the hadhees to the imaginary world?
وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٖ٧
45:7. If they waste time listening to a vain talk that degrades human resources, let them be ready to go to the abyss of destruction.
يَسۡمَعُ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ٨
45:8. If Allah's guidance is presented to such people, they will go away arrogantly as if they did not hear them. Let them know that disaster awaits.
وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيًۡٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ٩
45:9. Yet even though they understand some of the guidance, they keep it in their mind and make fun of it. Such people will be caught in humiliating torment. There will be no way to get out of it.
مِّن وَرَآئِهِمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُم مَّا كَسَبُواْ شَيۡٔٗا وَلَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡلِيَآءَۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ١٠
45:10. The people from different parts of the world are seen to be suffering from such misery. They also see their lives to have turned into hell. But they do not try to know the root cause for it and are indulging in such activities that do not benefit the world. (See 18:103-106) This is the condition of those who worship idols, leaving Allah’s guidance apart. A painful hell awaits such people.
هَٰذَا هُدٗىۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بَِٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٌ١١
45:11. But this Quran is a guide to the better life of man. So it is inevitable that those who go astray without accepting its guidance will experience painful torments of hell.
There are ways to recover from such hellish torments. They should study the creations of the world and also the intrinsic values of His guidance. In this way, they should come forward to use them for human resource development. For example,
۞ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَجۡرِيَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ فِيهِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ١٢
45:12. Rabbu created the oceans for you to use. You manufacture and use ships according to the rules set out in them. With these, you do oceanic research and seek the infinite bounties of Allah. You should be thankful to Allah by using all these in the way He has shown for the good of the world.
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا مِّنۡهُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ١٣
45:13. Thus, everything in the galaxies and the earth was created for you to use according to the plan of Allah. But only people who think and act can understand the beauty of these.
Those who live in the imaginary world with mere superstition have no chance to know the beauty of the world’s creations. As for them, they will be hoping that Allah and Malaika will come in Chariot and finish all their affairs. (See 2: 210 & 6: 116)
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَغۡفِرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرۡجُونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِيَجۡزِيَ قَوۡمَۢا بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ١٤
45:14. Tell the followers of the guidance, “How will Allah safeguard those who do not accept the prescribed timing for the consequences of human deeds? So, continue to act as per the guidance of Rabbu. As per the framed laws of Allah, every community will reap the rewards of their deeds.”
مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ أَسَآءَ فَعَلَيۡهَاۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ تُرۡجَعُونَ١٥
45:15. If an individual or a community does creative good deeds, the benefits will be available to them only. On the contrary, any society that goes astray will suffer the consequences. So, every action of man in the world will go towards the goal set by Allah. So, the benefits and consequences will follow as per the prescribed rules.
وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ١٦
45:16. It was on this basis that the Scriptures were given to the Israelites. By obeying them, they attained the powers to rule according to the canon of Rabbu. And many reformists came to them. They also arranged for hygienic livelihood. Thus, they became superior to other communities living at that time.
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيَۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقۡضِي بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ١٧
45:17. In the Scripture given to them, the references to the programs of Rabbu were clearly compiled. Even after coming to that level of clear wisdom, they, over time deviated from the right path due to rivalry and jealousy. These differences will be properly judged during the period when the regime is established based on the Quran. Or on the Day when the consequences of their deeds appear.
ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ فَٱتَّبِعۡهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ١٨
45:18. O, Reformist! We have shown you by revelation the straight path which you should follow. (See 42:13) Do not act in accordance with the wishes of people who do not know the true state of His guidance. (See 6:106)
إِنَّهُمۡ لَن يُغۡنُواْ عَنكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡٔٗاۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۖ وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ١٩
45:19. They can do no harm against the system of Allah. (See 3: 111) Now they have joined together to plot against you. But Allah's help will always be there for those who follow His guidance.
هَٰذَا بَصَٰٓئِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُوقِنُونَ٢٠
45:20. Because all the guidance of Allah is the eye-opener to the people of the world. And for those who accept these wholeheartedly, they are the perfect guide to a better life and the blessings of Rabbu.
أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱجۡتَرَحُواْ ٱلسَّئَِّاتِ أَن نَّجۡعَلَهُمۡ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَوَآءٗ مَّحۡيَاهُمۡ وَمَمَاتُهُمۡۚ سَآءَ مَا يَحۡكُمُونَ٢١
45:21. Because those who act in a way that corrupts society on one side, those who accept the guidance of Allah and strive for the betterment of society on the other. Can these two will be equal? Just as the living and the dead are not equal, these two groups cannot be equal. It is very bad that these two categories are considered to be equal.
وَخَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلِتُجۡزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسِۢ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ٢٢
45:22. They do not know the fact that Allah has created the universe and everything on earth for creative purposes. Allah has framed laws in such a way as to bring about the right consequences for every action of human beings. So, they are responsible for their actions. There is no injustice on the part of Allah.
They ask what is necessary for His guidance when the man is endowed with intellect so that he could think and act. But people who live without His guidance are overwhelmed by whims and mental desires! The mindset of man becomes addicted to the mental desire! So, they do not understand this!
أَفَرَءَيۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٖ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمۡعِهِۦ وَقَلۡبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰوَةٗ فَمَن يَهۡدِيهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱللَّهِۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ٢٣
45:23. Have you ever observed the person who obeys his desires? They will act according to the desires that arise in their minds. They don’t think about their implications. They say that they can take care of those vulnerabilities when they come. Have you noticed what happens to their situation despite their intelligence? When desires overwhelm them, their hearts, ears, and visual senses become paralyzed. So, they have no tendency to think about any advice. They will not even listen to these. Who else can guide such people? Ask them to think about it.
And people living in such societies will live for temporary pleasures only. They will not make any arrangements for future benefit or life after death. If you ask them about this, they will say
وَقَالُواْ مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡيَا وَمَا يُهۡلِكُنَآ إِلَّا ٱلدَّهۡرُۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ٢٤
45:24. “Human life is just living in this world. There is no life other than this worldly life. We live for some specific time. Then we die. When the time of destruction comes to us, we will perish, that is all. These are all baseless speeches without clear wisdom. What they are talking about is just speculation.
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱئۡتُواْ بَِٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ٢٥
45:25. If it is made clear to them that human life is something that continues after death, they argue in vain without accepting it. They say, “If your claim is true, resurrect our dead ancestors and bring them before our eyes.”
قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُحۡيِيكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يَجۡمَعُكُمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ٢٦
45:26. Tell them, “Human life and death are created according to the plan of Allah. You live .and, after that, you die. But your life does not end there. Your life moves towards the permanent system He has set. Let no one doubt this. But most people do not know this fact.” (See explanation 6: 22-23)
وَلِلَّهِ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَخۡسَرُ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ٢٧
45:27. All these plans are from Allah, the Creator of the universe and the earth, Who has sole control. So, it is certain that the period for the outcome of the good results for the good deeds done by the people and the evil consequences of the evil deeds is determined. The condition of those who lived in the fantasy world was deplorable (see 7: 8-9)
وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٖ جَاثِيَةٗۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةٖ تُدۡعَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ كِتَٰبِهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ٢٨
45:28. Therefore, the condition of the nations of the world will be determined according to these framed laws of Rabbu. All the countries living in the imaginary world will have to kneel before the developed countries to fulfill their needs. The records of the activities of each country speak for themselves. Thus, their actions will have good results and evil consequences accordingly.
هَٰذَا كِتَٰبُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيۡكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسۡتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ٢٩
45:29. This is the framed law established by Allah. So, the benefits and consequences will only be according to your activities. There will be no change in this. This is how your every action is recorded and preserved.
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ٣٠
45:30. So, Rabbu bestows His blessings immeasurably on societies that accept His guidance and do constructive good deeds. Is it not a great privilege to have such a glorious life?
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَايَٰتِي تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا مُّجۡرِمِينَ٣١
45:31. On the contrary, the condition of societies that ignores His guidance will be very pitiable. They are responsible for their own depravity. This is because when Allah guided them, they arrogantly disregarded them and were guilty of evil deeds.
وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهَا قُلۡتُم مَّا نَدۡرِي مَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنّٗا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُسۡتَيۡقِنِينَ٣٢
45:32. Did you not then say that such an uprising is certain to come and that the promise of Allah is true? We told you not to let anyone doubt this. But you said We knew nothing about it and that Our warning was just fiction and not to be accepted.
وَبَدَا لَهُمۡ سَئَِّاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ٣٣
45:33. So the time has come for the consequences of the evil deeds you have done to appear. What you have been mocking is to surround you.
وَقِيلَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَنسَىٰكُمۡ كَمَا نَسِيتُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَا وَمَأۡوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ٣٤
45:34. We will be as indifferent to the situation you are in today as you have been indifferent to the timing of such consequences. So, the place where you stay is only a place where you will be tormented. There will be no one else to save you from it.
ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ ٱتَّخَذۡتُمۡ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوٗا وَغَرَّتۡكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا يُخۡرَجُونَ مِنۡهَا وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ٣٥
45:35. This is the worst situation for those who mock at the precautionary advices of Allah and fall into the temporary bliss of worldly life. They can never escape from such a situation. They will not receive forgiveness of sins.
فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَرَبِّ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ٣٦
45:36. The great development projects of Allah will be in operation during such periods of the uprising. They will be used to safeguard the welfare of the entire community. Thus, all of Rabbu's projects are worthy of thousands of praises.
وَلَهُ ٱلۡكِبۡرِيَآءُ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ٣٧
45:37. At such a time, everyone will accept that Allah's plans are working in all the universes and that every creation speaks of the supreme power of Allah. And they will accept that all of Allah's plans are based on clear wisdom.
Chapter No. 46 – Soorah: A’aqaf (Desert Dunes)
