بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
تَبَٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ١
67:1. One who rules over all the universes, who is infinitely powerful and full of vast blessings. And he is the one who sets the legal definitions for each of His creations and carries out it in the most beautiful way.
Therefore, the people of that country will have the privilege of living a better life with all the blessings, if they shoulder the responsibility to Rule this world under the guidance of such a Mighty One.
ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ أَيُّكُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلٗاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ٢
67:2. The life and death of human societies in this world are taking place according to the legal rules of Rabbu. It is possible to examine which society acts according to His guidance and becomes a living society, and which society acts against them and lives like corpses. And the power of Rabbu is to cause consequences and protection according to their activities.
The same law applies to the individual as it does to the world community. Laws are made to benefit those who do good deeds and to bring evil consequences to those who do evil deeds.
ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٖ طِبَاقٗاۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مِن تَفَٰوُتٖۖ فَٱرۡجِعِ ٱلۡبَصَرَ هَلۡ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٖ٣
67:3. If you want to know about the infinite power of Allah, examine how the galaxies have been created. Notice how they are stacked one on top of the other. Examine them and find out if there is anything wrong with them. No one can see any flaws in His creations.
ثُمَّ ٱرۡجِعِ ٱلۡبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيۡنِ يَنقَلِبۡ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ خَاسِئٗا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٞ٤
67:4. Not once or twice; Explore as many times as you want. You will explore but, you will never find any flaw. In that exploration, you will fail.
وَلَقَدۡ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهَا رُجُومٗا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لَهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ٥
67:5. Do you know about the twinkling stars that adorn the sky at night? They are the closest to Earth. Where can you find things that are so far away? So, the true position of the stars has been explained in this Qur’an. But there is no longer any room for astrologers who claim that human life takes place according to the position of the stars. Beyond that, they will suffer severe punishment if they stand by their claim. (See also 15:17 E 37: 6-9, 72: 8)
وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ٦
67:6. Because the sovereignty of Rabbu is created on the basis of “the benefit for common people.” But those who refuse to accept these are misleading people by preaching them the horoscope predictions. So, the punishment waits for them.
إِذَآ أُلۡقُواْ فِيهَا سَمِعُواْ لَهَا شَهِيقٗا وَهِيَ تَفُورُ٧
67:7. When such people are tormented, they will hear mere screams, lamentations, and shouts. That would be so much disgusting to hear.
تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلۡغَيۡظِۖ كُلَّمَآ أُلۡقِيَ فِيهَا فَوۡجٞ سَأَلَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَذِيرٞ٨
67:8. Such a state would seem to have shattered them with anger. Then, its guards will ask, “Has no one come to warn you of the consequences of your wrongdoing?”
قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ قَدۡ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٞ فَكَذَّبۡنَا وَقُلۡنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ كَبِيرٖ٩
67:9. To which they would reply, “Why not? The precautionary messages did come to us. But we said they were all lies. We thought that such torment would never come from Allah and that those who take precaution were in great error. So, we have been telling them the same thing.”
وَقَالُواْ لَوۡ كُنَّا نَسۡمَعُ أَوۡ نَعۡقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِيٓ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ١٠
67:10. And they will say, “If we had listened to their advice, thought about it, and acted on it, we would not have become such inmates of Hell.”
فَٱعۡتَرَفُواْ بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسُحۡقٗا لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ١١
67:11. Thus they will confess the sins they had committed. Will they then be able to recover from the ordeal just because they agreed? No. They just have to stay there.
Dear ones! Such punishment will be available to those who engage in such anti-social propaganda of astrology, even when the rule of Rabbu takes place in this world. Even if such a rule does not exist, it will be available in life after death. It should be remembered that the meaning of the verses of the Holy Qur’an depicts both these sufferings.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٞ١٢
67:12. But for those who accept the guidance of Rabbu and act with fear of consequences, such afflictions will not come near. They will have a safe life and excellent living facilities.
وَأَسِرُّواْ قَوۡلَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱجۡهَرُواْ بِهِۦٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ١٣
67:13. Some people think that if we act secretly, it will go unnoticed by others. No word or deed, whether secret or public, will go unnoticed by Allah. Also, tell them that Allah knows even the thoughts that arise in the minds of everyone.
أَلَا يَعۡلَمُ مَنۡ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ١٤
67:14. Did you think that the universe and everything on earth was created and left unheard of? Know that Allah has the power to observe and know your every action with the utmost care. Accordingly, it will have the most appropriate effect on your actions.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ ذَلُولٗا فَٱمۡشُواْ فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُواْ مِن رِّزۡقِهِۦۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ١٥
67:15. And who created the earth for you to live in? You are looking for livelihoods in the land and the forest forever. Who organized them? And to whom do you go to fulfill your every need? Knowing that Allah does all these things, should you not act in the way He has shown?
ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخۡسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ١٦
67:16. If you do not come forward to live like that, will it not be possible for Allah controller of all the universes to plug you deep in the earth? Are you not afraid that the earth will tremble! What can you do to escape from it?
أَمۡ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبٗاۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ كَيۡفَ نَذِيرِ١٧
67:17. Or what can you do if hailstones fall from the sky? Are you fearless without thinking about all this? This means that when suffering occurs as per Rabbu's precaution, you will soon know what it is like.
وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ١٨
67:18. The availability of such pains is not new. Before this, many societies faced destruction due to the carelessness of the pre-warnings made by Rabbu. Ask historians how severe those pains were.
They have no idea about the power of Rabbu. They take everything as a game. They would not be so indifferent if they had researched and learned about world creations and their functions.
أَوَ لَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَى ٱلطَّيۡرِ فَوۡقَهُمۡ صَٰٓفَّٰتٖ وَيَقۡبِضۡنَۚ مَا يُمۡسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءِۢ بَصِيرٌ١٩
67:19. Do they not see birds flying in the sky with their wings outstretched and joined? Can they fly in space without the arrangements of the Blessed Ar-Rahman? Surely, Allah's plans are very subtle.
أَمَّنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي هُوَ جُندٞ لَّكُمۡ يَنصُرُكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ إِنِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ إِلَّا فِي غُرُورٍ٢٠
67:20. In the same way, if you are afflicted by your evil deeds according to the law prescribed by Ar-Rahman, the Most Benevolent, which force can fight it? Those who disobey Rabbu's guidance are deceived into thinking that no one can do anything for them.
أَمَّنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي يَرۡزُقُكُمۡ إِنۡ أَمۡسَكَ رِزۡقَهُۥۚ بَل لَّجُّواْ فِي عُتُوّٖ وَنُفُورٍ٢١
67:21. And the provisions of Allah are the means of subsistence for all the people. What can they do if they are blocked? Without thinking about all of these, they tend to turn away from Rabbu's guidance and hate it!
أَفَمَن يَمۡشِي مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦٓ أَهۡدَىٰٓ أَمَّن يَمۡشِي سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ٢٢
67:22. Therefore tell them, “Are those who act blindly without thinking of anything on the right path? Or are those who think of everything and act in the right way better?”
قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفِۡٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ٢٣
67:23. Tell them, “It is Allah Who created you. According to His plan of action, he is endowed with the senses of hearing, the senses of vision, and the ability to think and act. But you have to think about how much you use them.”
قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ٢٤
67:24. He spread mankind throughout the world according to His plan. Does this mean that everything can work out as you wish? No. Remember that every action you take has consequences according to the goal set by Him.
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ٢٥
67:25. To which they replied, “You often threaten about destruction. If what you say is true, then, inform us as to when will the destruction come?”
قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡعِلۡمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ٢٦
67:26. So tell them, “I cannot tell you when destruction will come. That wisdom is with Allah alone. But my job is to warn about the devastating effects of evil deeds.”
فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡهُ زُلۡفَةٗ سِيَٓٔتۡ وُجُوهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقِيلَ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَدَّعُونَ٢٧
67:27. When such destructions appear, their faces will wither with anxiety. Then, the situation will tell them that these are the destructions you have anticipated.
قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَهۡلَكَنِيَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِيَ أَوۡ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ٢٨
67:28. And tell them, “You need not worry about us. We cannot predict if we would be destroyed as per the canon of Allah or we would get His blessings for our good deeds. But doom is certain for you as you act against the guidance of Rabbu! Who will save you from that destruction?”
قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡنَاۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ هُوَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ٢٩
67:29. O, Reformist! Tell them, “It is certain that we will be blessed by Ar-Rahaman, the Most Benevolent. We have complete confidence in His guidance. We are dependent on them. So, the truth will soon become clear to you who are the ones who are misguided.”
The advice of the Benevolent Rabbu is that the surplus wealth and livelihood earned by man should be made available to people at large. But they do not like this and, think that everything is for themselves and oppose the guidance of Rabbu.
قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَصۡبَحَ مَآؤُكُمۡ غَوۡرٗا فَمَن يَأۡتِيكُم بِمَآءٖ مَّعِينِۢ٣٠
67:30. Tell them, “What can you do if the water for agriculture dries up without rain? Did you notice who was pouring water on you?”
When Allah has made the means of subsistence, let him take what is worthy of labor. What happened to him in giving the rest according to the advice of Allah?
