Al Hijr

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Whatever program we initiate in our life, it will be as per the Pre-directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)

الٓر‌ۚ

ا Aleef - Allah. لٓ Lam - La-Ilaha That is no Controller in the Universe except Allah - رۚ Ra – Rahman - The Most Beneficent

الٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَقُرۡءَانٖ مُّبِينٖ١

15:1. This Book, which has been revealed by Allah, the only Controller of the Universe and the Most beneficent, contains the laws for all the people of the world to follow. And in this Quran, all things have been recorded and compiled.

رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ كَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ٢

15:2. When a social organization is formed based on His guidance, its benefits will gradually become known to the people. Then the people who oppose now will be in nostalgia, “How much better it would have been if we had accepted these and helped them.”

ذَرۡهُمۡ يَأۡكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلۡهِهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ٣

15:3. Let them enjoy the temporary pleasures now if they want to. Their attitude under the attractions of their wealth leaves them without even thinking about the consequences of their wrongdoing. (See also 102:1). However, the time is not far off when they will face the consequences of their actions.

وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ٤

15:4. Never before any society has perished prior to the terms framed by us. This “Saturation Period” is a matter of Our agenda. This action plan is not a secret one for anyone. That is, the fact is known to all.

مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَ‍ٔۡخِرُونَ٥

15:5. This law of “Time Frame”, is so certain that it will neither be delayed to occur nor before the fixed time.

وَقَالُواْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونٞ٦

15:6. At present, people are under the influence of wealth. So, when they listen to you, they say, “You look like a perfect mad man who claims to be blessed by His Guidance.”

لَّوۡ مَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ٧

15:7. And they say, “If you were truthful, would you not have brought angels to us?”

As if the ‘angels’ are something that appears in the sky. People imagine that a reformist should perform miracles and so ‘angels’ should accomplish his tasks. That is why they are talking like this. But the angels are the Universal forces of nature. They are the ones that bring the consequences of human actions.

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ٨

15:8. So, Our “angels” will manifest in due time as the consequences of their actions. When that happens as a result of their actions, the opportunity given to them will end.

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ٩

15:9. So, We reveal all the truths through this Quran. As long as the world lasts, everything will happen according to the rules stated in it. Thus, We are safeguarding Our words. (See also 6:115).

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ١٠

15:10. Revealing these facts is nothing new. From ancient times, We have been informing these facts to every community through reformists.

وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ١١

15:11. Looking at the reformist who informed these facts, many in the community were never without ridicule. So, they are still looking at you and making fun of you.

كَذَٰلِكَ نَسۡلُكُهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ١٢

15:12. In the same way, devilish attitudes pervade their hearts.

لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ١٣

15:13. Therefore, they do not have the mental maturity to accept Our guidance. This has been found in their ancestors too.

وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَابٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعۡرُجُونَ١٤

15:14. Even if We open a gate in the sky in front of them and climb into it, they will not accept Our guidance.

لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٞ مَّسۡحُورُونَ١٥

15:15. Even if you do so, they will say, “These are all tricks. So, our way of life is the best.”

What exists now is that the recipient of this Quran is mad. They also say that they can bring things like this with the calculations of the position of stars.

وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ١٦

15:16. We have created the stars that twinkle in the sky at night to move along with their given orbits. So, they adorn the sky at night. Discovering its status allows you to travel through the desert and sea at night. (See 16:61)

وَحَفِظۡنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٍ١٧

15:17. We protect these stars and planets from any harm. So, no evil forces can approach them. No one can modify their functions.

Similarly, His guidance is given for the safe life of man. In the communities that follow it, no evil forces will approach them. Just as the galaxies are adorned with stars, so will the earth be shining with the excellent activities of man.

But those who have abandoned all His guidance, develop an ideology that these stars determine the future of human life. Thus, clergies are misleading people by telling them that horoscopes, divination, horoscope benefits, necromancy, sorcery, astrology, etc. These are their opinions and not the real thing. Those stars never have the power to determine human life. But some believe that these are also true.

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ مُّبِينٞ١٨

15:18. Those who believe in such horoscopes will fall into the trap of these hated evil forces. When there is a Regime based on His guidance, there will be awareness among the people and all these deceptions of theirs will be exposed. Such astrologers will be chased away by the fireball of His guidance. (See also 26:210-212, 37:8-9, 52:38, 67: 5 & 72: 8-9)

If you want to know these facts, you have to explore the universal creations and know how the stars, planets, and earth in them all work together.

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مَّوۡزُونٖ١٩

15:19. Although the earth in which you live is spherical, We made you stand in it perpendicular, so that you may function without any hustle, and made the mountains as the nails so that the earth does not jerk. These mountains also help you to store water, use it for irrigation and cultivate a variety of food grains.

وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ٢٠

15:20. Thus, We have made all the food items available to you which you need for your life. We created all of these for you and for other creatures to whom you do not feed.

وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ٢١

15:21. Besides, all the treasures you need for your life in the universe and on earth are immeasurably with Us. We bring them out that much quantity of livelihood as you need.

These are said to be natural creations. Let all know that Allah is the Creator of those natural creations!

وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ٢٢

15:22. And We create clouds with the rotation of winds. Following that, We send down rain from the sky for you. This process of rainfall project is Ours. You do not collect rainwater in the sky and pour it.

Nor do you store the rainwater for your future use.

وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ نُحۡيِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ٢٣

15:23. Thus, every creature on earth can function according to Our law. And after a certain period of time, their life comes to an end. Thus, We alone get the authority to determine everything.

Investigate these facts. They all work according to the plan of Rabbu. So, man has no right to claim ownership of those creations. Because man does not have eternal life in this world. Man is allowed to live better using them. (See 56: 63-74)

وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَ‍ٔۡخِرِينَ٢٤

15:24. So, Allah knows who among you is advancing skillfully and boasting of his wealth, and who among you lags behind.

But there is no room for social inequality in the program of Allah. So, the distinction between the haves and the have nots is unlikely to persist.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ٢٥

15:25. Surely, the time will come when all will live together, according to the Will of Allah. These are all words that are the basis of complete academic wisdom of revelations.

That is to say, when the Man stepped into civilized social life, the basic advice he received from Allah has already been illustrated in parables 2:30-39 & 7:11-25 under the title “Adam”. This is again explained here from a new angle.

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ٢٦

15:26. The Origin of Man's Creation was from the essence of the black clay that gave sound and it was created according to Allah's plan.

وَٱلۡجَآنَّ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ٢٧

15:27. Millions of years before human creation, the earth was hot and surrounded by gas (see 40:11). The aborigines called the jinn race were created then.

As the ages passed and the earth's temperature gradually subsided, the human race began to form on Earth. Therefore, since jins were created in the beginning, we call them Adivasis, tribes, and hill people.

وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ٢٨

15:28. According to Allah's plan, “The Malaika”, the Universal forces of nature, came to know that a new human creation was going to be created out of sound giving black clay.

All of Allah’s creative plans are long-term action plans. The time taken for each phase of evolution is thousands of years (see 32:5).

فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ٢٩

15:29. When the Man as a creature was thus transformed into human beings, (Ref: 76:1) he was gradually endowed with the powers of seeing, hearing, and thinking as per the schemes of Allah (see 32:9), and also, he was given complete freedom. So, it was Allah's plan for the universal forces (Malaika) to obey human commands.

فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ٣٠

15:30. In the same way, all the universal forces of nature began to function in obedience to human command.

That is to say, man has the power to develop technical know-how, to study the nature of creations, and to use them according to his needs. (See 2:31) So even now these natural forces work best under human command.

إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ٣١

15:31. But the evil force, one among the list of forces of nature called, ‘Iblees’ which is operating within man does not function according to His command. That is to say, the evil qualities in man such as pride, selfishness, and arrogance (See 2:34) are not within human control.

As already explained in verses 2:30-38 & 7:11-25, their true condition is illustrated in parable form so that you may have a better understanding of the Rabbu’s plans, of the human creation, of the universal forces of nature, and of the Ibleesic (evil) nature at work in the human body.

None of this should be taken to mean that it actually happened somewhere or at any time in the universe. This is because no creature in the universe has the power to interfere in Allah’s Schemes (see 16:50) and Allah does not involve anyone in His action plans (18:25). Keep this in mind. So just look at what you can learn from those conversations.

قَالَ يَٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ٣٢

15:32. “O Iblees! Why don't you join those who bowed before Me?” Asked Rabbu.

قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ٣٣

15:33. Iblees said, “I do not bow down to a man who is made out of black clay.”

Did you notice? The arrogance that I am superior and the others are inferior is the evil thought found in man even today. That is why all the problems in society arise.

قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ٣٤

15:34. “Then get out of here. You have lost all My blessings and become isolated.”

وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ ٱللَّعۡنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ٣٥

15:35. “And when the social governing system is formed based on Our guidance, you will be the loser of all Our blessings.”

It is this arrogance in man that prevents him from accepting His guidance. Thus, he loses his ability to explore the universal forces and immerses himself in the superstitious belief that everything will be done by Malaika, and Allah (see 2:210) loses all energy and lives like a frog in a well. Thus, a life similar to the paradise that man has to get is snatched away.

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ٣٦

15:36. Iblees said, “O My Rabbu! May these people live like dead community and allow my domination to go on till the time of awakening through Your guidance.”

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ٣٧

15:37. “Of course, We give you that opportunity.”

إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ٣٨

15:38. “As long as there is no enlightenment in the people, your domination will continue.

When the man is enlightened by His guidance, the Satanic qualities will depart from him. (See 15:40)

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ٣٩

15:39. To which Iblees replied, “O My Rabbu! Because you have left me astray, I will make all the mischievous deeds of this world to be beautiful to them and lead them all to go astray.”

Did you notice? It is this theory that operates within man and makes him think that every action he does is beautiful and very special. This situation occurs to him because of the lack of enlightenment of His guidance. All the evil things that are happening in the world today are with decorative processions to make it look beautiful. (See 6:43, 7:146, 13:33) The Quran is the only text before man to know what he is doing is right or wrong. (See 25: 2)

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ٤٠

15:40. And Iblees said, “I acknowledge that my domination extends to all people, except the righteous who follow Your guidance.”

قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسۡتَقِيمٌ٤١

15:41. Rabbu said, “The guidance that comes from My side is the straight path that is available to man.”

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ٤٢

15:42. “Your dominion will never have any effect on those who follow My guidance. But let those who follow you become misguided and trapped into the clutches of your dominion.”

وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ٤٣

15:43. “So the ultimate result of their evil deeds will be the hell with total torment. These are the rules that we have set.”

لَهَا سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡوَٰبٖ لِّكُلِّ بَابٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ جُزۡءٞ مَّقۡسُومٌ٤٤

15:44. There are many gates to hell. Each of those portals belongs to a shared faction.

Did you notice? There are many ways to go in an evil way. Allah has already determined what the ultimate result of every evil deed should be. According to it, the wicked ones will enter the gates of hell. But the only way for man to be guided is the Qur'an, which contains His guidance. (See 17:9)

Dear Intellectuals! Examine the above verses given in the form of conversation and take a look at today's practical world. You will find that the same condition of Adam is present in every community. Therefore, such sayings are found in the Holy Quran to make all these understandable to man. Teachers will convince the students about how the world works by showing them a small ball in a spherical shape in school halls, with the imaginary lines of Latitude, Equator, and Longitude. So also, is the conversation with Iblees. Are there such lines around the earth? In the same way, the creation of Iblees as an individual never clashed with Allah or had any dialogue.

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ٤٥

15:45. These torments of Hell will not befall those who follow the guidance of Allah. They will be happy in paradise. The springs of happiness in it will be constantly flowing. This heavenly life will continue in this world and the life Hereafter (see 16: 30-32)

ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ٤٦

15:46. ​​Those who follow the guidance of Allah are the ones who deserve such heavenly life pleasantly and safely without any fear.

وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ٤٧

15:47. There will never be any hostility or enmity in their hearts. Fraternal affection will prevail among them. They will all work happily as if sitting on the throne.

لَا يَمَسُّهُمۡ فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِينَ٤٨

15:48. Such people will always work happily and enthusiastically. There will never be torments or difficulties. The locations available to them will be standard. No one will oust them.

۞نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِيٓ أَنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ٤٩

15:49. O, Reformist! Explain to the people that all kinds of protection, love, and warmth have been made available from Allah to those who follow the guidance of Allah.

The status of the recipients of the above paradise was stated. But the situation of those who follow the emotional will of Iblees will be the exact opposite. There will be no peace. Hostility and enmity will grow among the people and their life will be like walking on thorny paths. The homes in which they live will be snatched away from them. All of these things will happen.

وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِيمُ٥٠

15:50. Inform to the people that the torments that befall those who act against the guidance of Allah will be painful.

Ask them to recollect how the painful was the sufferings that happened to the community of Looth. The dreadful destruction befalls the people of that community. (See 11:70)

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَن ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ٥١

15:51. The message of the impending destruction of the community of Looth Nabi was informed through the guests who came to Reformist Ibrahim,

إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ٥٢

15:52. While the message they brought was good news for Reformist Ibrahim, the other news saddened him.

قَالُواْ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ٥٣

15:53. The guests said, “Do not be afraid. We have come to tell you the good news that a wise son is about to be born.”

قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ٥٤

15:54. When he heard this, he said, “You have brought me the good news that I will be blessed with a son in this old age! On what basis did you bring this message? Can I still have a baby at this age?”

قَالُواْ بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ٥٥

15:55. They said, “We have brought this good news from Rabbu. Do not despair.”

قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ٥٦

15:56. “Do I disbelieve in the message of Allah? Not at all. Those who do not receive His guidance will be in such disbelief. But what I'm asking is how the baby will be born in this old age.” (See 14:39)

قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ٥٧

15:57. Then Reformist Ibrahim Nabi asked the guests what their next plan of action was?

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ٥٨

15:58. They said, “We have been sent to the community of Reformist Looth Nabi, who are engaged in wrongdoing.”

إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ٥٩

15:59. According to that message, the news of the destruction of all excepting Reformist Looth Nabi was imminent. The message said that only a few of his followers would be saved.

إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ٦٠

15:60. The wife of Looth Nabi was not included in the list of such returnees. Because she too had been involved in evil deeds in defiance of His command. So, she stays in the place of destruction without listening to the advice of Reformist Looth Nabi. That is why it has been decided that she too will perish.”

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ٦١

15:61. Then they came from there to Reformist Looth Nabi.

قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّنكَرُونَ٦٢

15:62. Welcoming them, Reformist Looth Nabi said, “You do not seem to belong to this city. Are you outsiders.?”

قَالُواْ بَلۡ جِئۡنَٰكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ٦٣

15:63. To which they replied, “Yes. We are all outsiders. But we have a message for you. We have brought the news of the destruction of what your community has been arguing with you about so far.”

وَأَتَيۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ٦٤

15:64. They said, “We have come to confirm the destruction that your people would face.”

فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٞ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ٦٥

15:65. So take yourselves and your followers with you and leave this city before dusk. Send them all ahead and you follow them. Do not waste time looking back at any of you. Because the place you have to go is far away. You have to reach the place accordingly.”

وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعٞ مُّصۡبِحِينَ٦٦

15:66. “And they will all be uprooted the next morning. This message, which comes according to the law of Allah, is a definite one.”

وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ٦٧

15:67. When the people learned about the arrival of outsiders and came to Looth Nabi, they gladly sought them out.

قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ٦٨

15:68. Looth Nabi introduced them to them and said, “They are all my guests.”

وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ٦٩

15:69. He said, “Fear the consequences of human deeds which Allah has framed and act accordingly. Do not discard my advice.”

قَالُوٓاْ أَوَ لَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ٧٠

15:70. They said, “How many times are we to prevent you from telling us everything that happened to the rest of the world? Nevertheless, you are talking to us that misery will befall on us!”

قَالَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ٧١

15:71. And he said, “Look at these women! They are like my daughters. Get married to them and live happily with them.”

لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ٧٢

15:72. The guests who witnessed this said, “We bear witness to your efforts. They will never accept your advice. They are so much intoxicated.”

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِينَ٧٣

15:73. So at dawn, the sound of the trumpet struck them, as it had been informed earlier.

فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ٧٤

15:74. After that, the town in which they lived was turned topsy-turvy. (Lawa) Clay of volcanic eruptions rained down on them. Everyone in it died.

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ٧٥

15:75. There are many lessons for intelligent people to learn from these historical events.

Dear Intellectuals! What is the cause of their misery? Instead of living in paradise better according to the His guidance, they lost the right to live in it, because they were enslaved to the virtues of Iblees. Thus, they have gone to the peak of evil deeds. Humans have fallen into the trap of homosexuality, the worst of all evils. This is now called Homo sex or Lesbianism.

The region which was involved in such acts is called ‘Sadhoom’. So, to this day, homosexuality is referred to as Sodomy. In such a habitual society, degeneration spreads rapidly. But the Western countries and the United States, which have mastered science, efforts are being made to give social recognition to homosexuality. Will not the destruction of the community of Looth Nabi come to them? Should they not think a little bit about this and be safe from Iblees?

وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٖ مُّقِيمٍ٧٦

15:76. The ruined city of Sadhoom is on the way to the Arabs.

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٧٧

15:77. Surely in that are lessons for people who obey Allah.

وَإِن كَانَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَيۡكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ٧٨

15:78. In the same way, destruction occurred in the densely populated Madhyan region. They were also very arrogant.

فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ٧٩

15:79. So the city in which they lived was turned upside down and destroyed according to the rules of Allah. Thus, they too faced the consequences of their evil deeds. Their hometown is just on the way you travel.

وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡحِجۡرِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ٨٠

15:80. Similarly, the “Samoodhu” community, known as the “Ashab-ul-Hijr”, refused to accept Our guidance and lived in a state of remorse. They have been saying that His guidance was a lie.

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ٨١

15:81. However, We have explained Our guidance through our Messengers with many sources. But they were not prepared to accept them. They ignored them.

وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ٨٢

15:82. Nevertheless, they had mastered the art of architecture, they had conquered the mountains and built strong houses and huge mansions. (See 7:74)

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُصۡبِحِينَ٨٣

15:83. But because they were disobedient to the advice of the Reformist, they did not heed the warning of an earthquake in the place where they lived. (See 7:79) So they were trapped in a great earthquake and were destroyed.

فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ٨٤

15:84. None of the wealth they had accumulated at the time of their destruction saved them from that danger.

What lessons do you learn from these historical events? It means that man should not think that the universe and the earth are created for some futile games, acting as he pleases and continuing to commit unjust acts. The consequences of his actions will come before him.

So, when these dangers occur in the form of natural disasters, he fails to attain the ability to safeguard from them or pre-plan to protect himself from them. Those who have lost such capacity of planning are caught in those dangers and perish. At the same time, Allah's guidance is the only way to protect mankind from the ill effects of evil deeds.

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ

15:85. So the galaxies, the earth, and all those which are between the two are created in such a way that the good and evil deeds of man will have their good results and evil consequences.

وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَأٓتِيَةٞۖ فَٱصۡفَحِ ٱلصَّفۡحَ ٱلۡجَمِيلَ٨٥

If man's actions are against Our rules of law, he will face destruction. So, the same fate that befell the societies that lived before, will surely befall those who engage in evil deeds at present. If people do not agree with you, carry on with your plans and keep them in good working order.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ٨٦

15:86. All these are the revelations of Allah, the Almighty, the All-Knowing, the Creator of all the universes, and all that are in them.

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكَ سَبۡعٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَثَانِي وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡعَظِيمَ٨٧

15:87. Thus We have given you the Historical Cycles that can happen again and again, as well as the great advice of this Quran. On the same basis, the growth and decline of every society will continue until this world exists (see 39:23).

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٨٨

15:88. So, some of your communities are unjustly amassing wealth and enjoying it. You do not pay attention to their status. And do not grieve over the misfortunes that befall them. Continue to carry on with your programs along with your followers and safeguard them just as birds extends their wings to safeguard their young one.

وَقُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ٨٩

15:89. Teach the people, “I am just the one who informs the consequences of your misdeeds.”

كَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِينَ٩٠

15:90. I declare to them that the sufferings which we have inflicted on the previous communities will be the same.

ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُواْ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عِضِينَ٩١

15:91. Because they have devised various schemes to deviate the people from this Quran. (See 5:45, 9:107) And they are leveling the teachings of this Quran by telling the people that these are nothing but the fables of the ancients (16:24).

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسۡ‍َٔلَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ٩٢

15:92. The law of “the consequences of human deeds,” ordained by your Rabbu, bears witness to the consequences of what they do.

عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ٩٣

15:93. That is, what will happen other than destruction as a result of their actions? فَٱصۡدَعۡ بِمَا تُؤۡمَرُ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ٩٤

15:94. So persevere in the public welfare programs prescribed by your Rabbu, regardless of what those involved in such anti-social activities are talking about.

إِنَّا كَفَيۡنَٰكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَهۡزِءِينَ٩٥

15:95. They look at your plans and make fun of you. But such people will be ridiculed (see 2:14-15). The law prescribed by Allah is sufficient for this. You need not take any action against them at present.

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ٩٦

15:96. They are those who set up imaginary gods equating with the supremacy of Allah and think that they are doing excellent jobs. The day is not far off when the consequences of their actions will appear.

وَلَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدۡرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ٩٧

15:97. O, Reformist! We know how much your mind is tormented by their ridicule.

فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ٩٨

15:98. You shall exalt your Rabbu's administrative plans beautifully, regardless of their mockery. Carry on this along with those who are fully committed to making Our projects commendable.

وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَكَ ٱلۡيَقِينُ٩٩

15:99. Act for the rest of your life, obeying only the commandment of Allah, to prove to the people that the guidance of Allah is the best life plan in the world.
