۞

Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)

ا Aleef Stands to denote Allah. Lam stands to denote La-Ilaha - That is no Controller in the Universe except Allah رۚ Ra – Stands to denote Rahman - The Most Beneficent

12:1

12:1. This Scripture, which has been blessed by Allah, the One and Only Controller of the whole of the Universe, and the Most Beneficent, reveals His clear and comprehensive guidelines.

12:2

12:2. We have given you a clear message in the language you speak so that you may understand and act better on every aspect of human life with this scripture,

12:3

12:3. Accordingly, in this Al Qur’an, which is blessed to you by clear guidance, we also announce the historical collections of the previous Reformists. You may not have known the facts about this before.

Reformist Yaquoob Nabi was the grandson of Reformist Ibrahim and the son of Reformist Isaac. Reformist Yusuf was one of the twelve children born to him. The first ten elder brothers were born to Yaquoob's first wife. Yusuf and his brother Benyamin were born to his second wife. Yusuf had a dream in his boyhood. From there, his history begins. See the last page of this chapter for the interpretation of dreams

12:4

12:4. Yusuf said to his father, “O My dear father! I dreamt as if eleven stars, the sun, and the moon were submitting before me.”

12:5

12:5. His father said, “My dear son! Do not tell your brothers about the dream you had. If you tell them, they will conspire to harm you. Because they do not listen to my advice, they act according to their desire. For those who do so, the mental inclination of Satan makes them act at an emotional pace and causes enmity between brothers.”

12:6

12:6. He added, “It seems to me that your Rabbu is going to choose you for a higher ideal. I think you will get the greatest wisdom from Rabbu which enables you to know the ultimate consequences of what is happening around the world. You will come to a better state with His grace, just as your forefathers, Reformist Ibrahim and Reformist Isaac, had their grace before this. Know that all the plans of your Rabbu are based on intellectual and complete wisdom.”

Dear Intellectuals! We want to clarify one thing here. Do not think that the history of Reformist Yusuf is just a story. This history offers many lessons and morals for truly conscious people. Therefore, we have outlined the lessons from the life history of Yusuf.

12:7

12:7. There are many lessons or morals for those who learn the life history of Yusuf and his brothers.

12:8

12:8. The other sons, who saw that their father was very affectionate towards Yusuf, said, “Yusuf and his brother are dearer to him than we are. We are with majority strength. Our father, who does not think about this, is making a big mistake.”

Did you notice? Yaqoob is a Reformist who lived a better life after receiving advice from his father, Reformist Isaac. Will he discriminate between his sons? It seems that his sons are not listening to his advice and are doing as they please. That is why Yaquoob Nabi did not like them very much. But Yaquoob naturally liked Yusuf and his brother Benyamin because they were obedient to his advice. The elder ones, unaware of this, think that their father is going astray. It is natural for insane people to have such a wrong attitude. Thus rivalry, jealousy, and hostility developed. They plan to manipulate something to fix this. So they plotted to

12:9

12:9. “Kill Yusuf. Or let him be deported. Only then will your father will like you. Then you will be with him as an affectionate child,” they planned to themselves.

12:10

12:10. One of them said, “Do not kill Yusuf. If you think you have to do something with him, throw him into a deep well. Then passers-by may pick him up.”

Is this the way they should follow something malicious against Yusuf to win the heart of his father? He would have been affectionate to them, had they listened to him and acted on his advice. So, this is how the thinking of those who go astray are forced to think negatively.

They repeatedly asked Yaquoob to send Yusuf to accompany them on an excursion according to their plan. But he did not want to send him with them. To that extent, he had no confidence in them. Finally, one day they said to their father,

12:11

12:11. “O Our beloved Father! Why don't you trust us in the case of Yusuf? We are really his well-wisher.”

12:12

12:12. So they said, “Tomorrow we are going on an excursion. So you must send him with us. He will be there eating the fruits and playing there. Of course, we will protect him and bring him back safely.”

12:13

12:13. Yaquoob Nabi said to them, “What you are talking to me makes me worry. And when you are careless about him, I'm afraid he will be eaten by a deadly beast.”

12:14

12:14. And they said to him, When we are all together with him, will we let him be touched by any beast? Are we going to let such a big loss happen?”

“We will see to it that nothing like that happens,” They Promised.

12:15

12:15. So they had decided to take Yusuf and throw him into a deep well. On the other hand, a message was sent to Yusuf, “Do not be distracted by their actions. At some point, you will make them aware of what they are doing. They do not know the facts about Our action plans.”

In the same way, they threw him into a large well according to their plan and returned to their hometown.

12:16

12:16. And they came weeping to their father that day late evening.

12:17

12:17. They said, “O Our Father! We left Yusuf along with our baggage and went a long way to run and play. Then a deadly beast came up to him and devoured him. But even if we tell the truth, you are not prepared to believe us.”

12:18

12:18. And they came and smeared false blood on Yusuf's shirt to prove their point. Yaquoob Nabi was shocked and said, “No. Your mind has shown the evil thing as colossal. It would be better for me to be patient in this situation. And I seek the help of Allah to find out how far the truth is in what you say.”

12:19

12:19. After that, a group of travelers came through the forest. They sent one of them to fetch water from that well. When he left the bucket to pump water from it, Yusuf grabbed it and shouted from there. When he heard that, he was glad and called out to everyone that there was a beautiful boy in the well. Thus all together they brought the boy upstairs and took him away without anyone knowing. Allah was fully aware of what all they did.

12:20

12:20. Since they could not make the boy stay with them for long, the traveling crowd decided to sell him for a pittance at an auction in Egypt. In this case, they did not show any affection for the boy.

12:21

12:21. So the boy was bought by an Egyptian government official and taken home. He said to his wife, “Bring up this boy well. When we look at him, he seems to belong to a good family. We will get a number of benefits through him later. So, he can be considered as our son, instead of taking him as a slave.”

Thus, all arrangements were made from Rabbu for Yusuf to grow with all facilities, wisdom, and knowledge to better understand the ultimate results of the events taking place in the world. Thus, all the plans of Allah were fulfilled without any hindrance. But most people do not think about it.

We learn from the following incidents that the person who adopted him was a high-ranking official in a royal council. And even though a Reformist is an ordinary person, it is necessary for him to be better in knowledge and performance. Only then can he be described as the best man to reform the people of the world. Those who adopted him would have arranged for him to be well-educated. So, we should also try to develop such knowledge and bring up our children in such a way that they too come under the selection of Allah.

12:22

12:22. Thus, he grew better and reached adolescence. He also learned the wisdom of knowing world affairs and how to fix them and became an excellent activist. All of this was the result of his good behavior. This is the law of Rabbu.

And the village in which he lived at a young age would not have given him the opportunity to receive such higher education and wisdom. That is why these arrangements were made by Rabbu. These are all events that took place during the time of the Reformistic series. (See explanation 5: 3)

When Yusuf reached adolescence, the wife of his master Azeez fell in love with Yusuf. So, she was determined to reach him somehow. One day,

12:23

12:23. When he was alone, the lady of the house took possession of him, locked on the door, and forced him to obey her. Refusing to comply, he said, “May Allah protect me. Of course, your husband, my master, is taking care of me with respect. Am I to betray him? Know that those who do such injustice will never succeed in their life's goal.”

12:24

12:24. But, she was more determined than ever to reach him. Because Yusuf had received Rabbu's guidance, he did not comply with her wishes. Thus, he was able to stop doing immoral acts as per the instruction of Rabbu. It also protected him from harm. Thus, he was one of the strict followers of Allah.

Dear Intellectuals! Did you notice? What kind of morality it was, that too in adolescence? What kind of man would he be to miss such an opportunity? But did you notice what prevented Yusuf from doing so? It was the fear of Allah that stopped him. That is, he was well aware of how his future would be diverted and subject to various Causes & Effects according to the framed laws of Rabbu, if he kept such abusive relationships. That's why he decided to leave her. So, the lesson for the people of the world is that anyone firm in following the guidance of Allah will never commit such an inappropriate act. Thus, everyone should be included in the list of good people of Rabbu

12:25

12:25. Thus, Yusuf tried to flee from her and the two ran to the side of the door to overtake each other, tearing his shirt from the backside. When the door was opened, they saw her husband standing in front. To cover up her guilt immediately, she said, “He wants to play with your wife's honor. So, he should be punished accordingly. He should be imprisoned and whipped. Or he should be given any other severe punishment.”

12:26

12:26. He denied the allegations saying, “She was the one who persuaded me to comply with her wishes.” The legal experts there were consulted about this. One of the advisors said, “She tells the truth if his shirt is torn on the front. That means he is a liar.”

12:27

12:27. And he said, “If the shirt is torn from the backside, she is proved to be guilty. This means that he is one of the truthful.”

Dear Intellectuals! Did you notice? Seeking the help of legal counsel to prove the guilt was in practice even in those days as well. They too have brought to enlightened the facts with intellectual evidence. So, is it fair to sentence the accused without proper investigations after hearing the charge? 4:15, 24:4 also states that there must be four witnesses to the occurrence of inappropriate relationships. This incident is also a source in the case of witnesses. That is, circumstantial and material evidence can be used to determine whether an inappropriate relationship has occurred. ‘Eye Witness’ is not possible and so not advisable.

12:28

12:28. And when they saw that Yusuf's shirt was torn in the back, they said, “This is the plot of the woman. Her plot is very bad.”

12:29

12:29. So the master said to Yusuf, “O Yusuf ! Leave this as it is. Do not exaggerate this.” He looked at his wife and said, “What you have done is very sinful. Do not behave like this and seek ways to a secure life. Surely this sin has been committed on your part.”

12:30

12:30. But this incident which took place in the palace was spread throughout the region. So some of the women in the city said, “Aziz's wife appears to have fallen in love with a slave boy and forced him to comply. Her lust for him has seduced her. The way she handled him to fulfill her desire was not right. That is why she has become guilty.”

Did you notice the mood of the women in that country? There is nothing wrong with what Aziz's wife did. But they say the way she handled it was wrong. This is the wrong attitude in a society that does not follow Rabbu's guidance

12:31

12:31. When Aziz's wife heard about this, she invited some women from the town to a party. For this, she prepared dinner. She also put fruit chopping knives in front of them. When they all assembled there, she asked Yusuf to come before them. The girls also looked at Yusuf and tried to trap him in their lust. But in that effort, they failed. He was of such high character.

They wounded their hands with the knife placed there to express their love for him. But he never looked at it either. When they saw the failure of their attempt, they said, “O Allah! You are the Purest of pure! He really is not an ordinary man. Surely, he is an angel, who lives by the command of Allah. That is why they could not trap him in their lust. “

That is, women living in civilized societies will see to it that their chastity is not compromised. No matter how handsome a male may be, they will never have lust after him. But in uncivilized societies, most women develop the attitude that there is nothing wrong with having sex with other men. That's why they saw Yusuf, they tried to seduce him too. All of this, therefore, reflects the extent to which moral values were corrupt in that society. This hypocritical play was organized to show that this is also the situation of women who speak poorly about Aziz's wife. (See 12:50)

12:32

12:32. And she said, “This is he, about whom you criticized me. It is true that I forced him to comply with my wishes. But he defended himself with determination. If he still does not comply with my wish, I will try to put him in jail for some reason or the other. I will make him one of the degraded ones.”

12:33

12:33. When Yusuf heard about this, he said, “O My Rabbu! Imprisonment is better than what they call me for. Give me the mental strength to stay safe from their conspiracy. Otherwise, I will be caught in their conspiracy and become one of the victims.”

12:34

12:34. So, arrangements were made to be safe from them at his request. He was never caught in the conspiracy of the girls. Surely, Rabbu is the Knower and the Hearer of all things.

12:35

12:35. Thus, Yusuf was vindicated and prosecuted, despite the evidence that he was innocent. The women testified against him and the verdict was that he should be imprisoned.

That is to say, the things that are happening then and now are that they can make judgments on their side anyway with money and power. So, these are the societies that do not follow clear guidance.

Thus, he was imprisoned. There he became well acquainted with all his good conduct and taught them the virtues of clear guidance (see 12:40).

12:36

12:36. One day, two of the co-prisoners came to him. They both told him about their dreams. One of them said that he dreamed of squeezing grape juice. The other said that he dreamed that he was carrying bread on his head and that the birds were eating it. They asked Yusuf to tell them what those dreams meant. Because they saw that Yusuf was a very high thinker.

12:37

12:37. And he said to them, “I will inform to you the interpretation of the dream before the meals: But before that, you need to know who I am and what principles I follow. All I am going to say is not my personal opinion. These are the wise teachings that my Rabbu has taught me. I present them to you. Its basic tenet is that I am not one of those who live in a state of mindless disobedience to Allah and the laws He has ordained, the ultimate result of human deeds.”

Did you notice? A Reformist’s ambition is to present the guidance of Allah to the people and to correct them whenever and wherever he gets the opportunity. We must follow this procedure as well. Prisons should be turned into reformatory schools.

12:38

12:38. And he said to them, you would have heard the name of Ibrahim, Ishaque, and Yaquoob. I am the one who follows the guidance they followed. All of them never followed any other method equating with the guidance of Allah. All these guidelines are blessings that Allah has bestowed on us and others. But most of the people live without knowing these facts.”

12:39

12:39. “O My comrades of prison! Think for yourself whether it is better to pray each deity for every need of man and keep begging before them or to act in accordance with the command of the One and the Only Rabbu who has the power to fulfill all needs. So, Allah is One, the Ruler of all the universes.”

12:40

12:40. “All that you worship equating the guidance of Allah is nothing but the imaginary names created by you and your forefathers. They do not have any evidence. They are not given any power or strength from Allah. We need to submit to the authority of Allah alone. Man must rule this world according to the guidance of Allah only. This is the plan of Allah. This is the standard guidance that is necessary for the better life of man. But most of the human beings do not know these facts.”

12:41

12:41. “O My comrades of prison! Now I announce the content of the dreams you two had. One of you will get a job to feed grape juice to your king. The other would be hanged and his corpse would be eaten by birds. These are the explanation for the dreams you both had. This is how you will be judged.”

12:42

12:42. And he asked both of them to convey the message which he had informed them to the king. But after his release, he forgot to tell those facts to the king. To that extent, he had less memory. This is the condition of those who act according to the will of the satanic forces. Thus Reformist Yusuf had to remain in prison for a few years.

Then the king of that country had a dream. He asks many people for an idea to get its explanation. But no one could explain it.

12:43

12:43 And the king said, “I have dreamt as if there were seven fat cows being devoured by seven lean ones and seven greenish fields, and the seven withered grass fields. O Chiefs of the House! If you have the wisdom to tell the interpretation of dreams, let me know the outcome of my dream.”

12:44

12:44. On hearing this, the royal ministers said, “These are all chaotic dreams. So, we do not know how to interpret dreams.”

12:45

12:45. The incident, which took place a long time ago, came to the mind of the prisoner who had been released from prison. So he asked the king for permission to send him to the prison where Yusuf was staying to get an interpretation of this dream.

12:46

12:46. So he came to Yusuf in the prison and said, “O Yusuf! Always the one who speaks the truth! Let me know the interpretation of this dream as well. That is, the king has dreamt as seven lean cows devouring seven fat cows, seven greenish ears of corn, and seven withered ones. Let me know what this means. I have to go and inform the nobles gathered in the palace to know the interpretation of this dream.”

12:47

12:47. Yusuf replied, “You will continue to cultivate well for seven years diligently and get good yields. Separate from the ears of corns only the quantity needed by the people of the country from the harvest. The balance of the corn which you harvest should be preserved in its ears and stored up.”

12:48

12:48. “Then there will be seven years of severe drought and famine. Separate the grains from the stalks you have stored and use them during drought. Keep one part of them for re-farming and use the other. In this way, the stored corn will be used in the years to come.”

12:49

12:49. Then will come a year. It will rain well and people would get good harvests. After that, the people will continue to have the living facilities they need.”

12:50

12:50. The explanation given by Yusuf was announced before the people in the State Council. On hearing this, the king gladly ordered to bring him. Similarly, a government guard came to Yusuf and told him that he had come to pick him up. Yusuf replied, “Go back to the king, investigate the charges against me and ask him to release me only after I have proved my innocence.” He sent the guard back, asking the legal Guards to investigate the true situation of the women who had injured their hands.” “And our king is well aware of the conspiracy of the women,” he told the guard.

12:51

12:51. So the king called the women to the council, and inquired them, “What was the thing that was done with you when you called on Yusuf ?” The women said, “May Allah save us!” “We do not see any harm in him.”

President Aziz's wife, who was listening to the inquiries, said: It is true that I forced him to comply with my wishes. But he is one of the truthful.”

12:52

12:52. Reformist Yusuf, who came there for the inquiry said, “The reason I liked this interrogation is to prove that when my master was not at home, I did not betray him. And everyone should know that Allah never supports the conspiracies of traitors.”

Dear Intellectuals! Take a look at an individual who seeks to correct the people of the world with his good behavior. And he did not seek release from prison with the charge sheets against him. Despite his hardships in prison, his high character is reflected in his determination to be released after being acquitted. This incident teaches us the lesson that the people of the society should also cultivate such high qualities. Aziz's wife, who noticed this, bowed her head in shame. She therefore publicly declared her position in the presence of the nobles assembled there.

Part: 13

12:53

12:53. Azeez’s wife submitted, “I am not saying that I have cleansed my mind of sin. I learned through Yusuf that no one can control the wishes emanating from hearts unless he accepts the guidance of Rabbu and acts accordingly. Because the wishes emanating from hearts are always motivated to engage in evil deeds. Of course, the guidance of Rabbu is gracious enough to lead to secure life for all.”

Following this, consultations on the country's plans were done. Plans were made to take better care of the country's grain production and to preserve them for the future. He was greatly impressed by Yusuf's skill and good behavior.

12:54

12:54. “Bring him to me. I will appoint him as a close adviser.” He then explained to the king his ancestry and the guidance he had learned. The king listened to them and declared praising him and deciding to join his cabinet, “From now onwards, you will be the leader of the House with great honor. You are very trustworthy.”

12:55

12:55. Knowing this, Yusuf expressed his desire to the king to appoint him the minister of food. He said, “Give me the responsibility of maintaining and protecting the grain depots of this country. I know how to protect them.”

Dear Intellectuals! Think it over. Once he got the love and warmth of the king, he did not think to live there in luxury. He says he has the ability to look after food production and preserve it in the country. Thus, he takes the responsibility for maintaining it. Note that even though he was not born in that country and was bought for a price, he has the intention of doing service for the people of the country where he lives. These are the thoughts and actions of those who function under the guidance of Allah.

We learn some more important things from this historical event. As already stated in Article 11:6, it is the responsibility of the government to bring a country's food production under its control and to make it accessible to all through public distribution. And it shows us that prosperity and famine will occur alternately in this world which has been entrusted to man to look after. It is the responsibility of the government to increase food production and store it during the greenish seasons. But if you store them on an individual basis, it amounts to hoardings. This is not allowed in Islam.

12:56

12:56. Thus, according to Yusuf, all arrangements were made available to him to protect the country's food production and preservation. He who does beautiful good deeds according to the Will of Rabbu will get high ranks. Therefore, the good deeds of those who do creative good deeds never go in vain, says Rabbu.

12:57

12:57. And the rewards of their efforts do not end with their present life. Those who accept the guidance of Allah and act accordingly will get better benefits from Rabbu in their future sustainable lives as well.

Thus ended the spring and the beginning of the drought. Famine and drought prevailed on all sides. The ration system of food grains in the food warehouse of the government of Egypt was started according to Rabbu's plan. Upon hearing about this, the family of Yusuf also came over there to get grain.

12:58

12:58. Yusuf recognized his brothers who came there. But they did not recognize Yusuf.

12:59

12:59. When the grain supplies were ready for them, he inquired about them and the family. Then he said to them, “When you come back here, bring your stepbrother to me. Surely, I have given you the grain you need and I have treated you with the best meals possible, have I not?”

12:60

12:60. “So, when you come back here, bring him to me. Otherwise, you will not get any grains from here. And you should not come here.”

12:61

12:61. They said to him, “We will do something to convince our father. We will make every effort to bring him with us.”

12:62

12:62. Then Yusuf said to his servants, “Put the money they bought for the grain in their bundle without their knowledge.” When they go to their house and open the bundles of grain, they will recognize the purchase money they have given. That way, they can come back to him and pay the price for the purchase.”

12:63

12:63. So when they returned to their house, they told their father about what had happened. They told him, “O Our Father! If we do not take our brother with us, we will not get the grain we need. So, send our brother with us. We will get the grain and take care of him and bring him back safely.”

12:64

12:64. And when Yaquoob heard it, he said to them, “Do you want me to trust you, as you did before to your brother? It’s okay if that grain isn’t available. Allah alone is sufficient to protect us. He is the Most Merciful for all.” He refused to accept their request.

12:65

12:65. When they unwrapped the bundle of grain, they found that their purchase money had been returned to them. They said, “O Our Father! Did you see that the grain and the money for it were returned to us? What else do we need than that? So we go back to buy grain for our family. You do not have to worry about our brother's safety. We will keep him safe. We will also bring a camel load of grain. This is a trivial matter for the king.”

12:66

12:66. Hearing their speech, Yaquoob said, “All right. I send him with you. But one condition. You should all swear by Allah that you will bring him back safely to me. Maybe, if all of you are surrounded by natural calamity that’s a different matter. Otherwise, I will never send him with you.” They all swore and promised to do the same. Then he said, “Allah bears witness to the oath we have made.”

12:67

12:67. And he said to his sons, “You need not go into the city altogether, you separate yourself and go in the different ways. I say this to you for your own protection. But protect yourselves according to the situation there as per the guidance of Allah. Because I can't give up on you when it comes to security. Remember. May Allah protect you from dangers. I have full confidence in Him.”

12:68

12:68. They all went individually to the city of Egypt on the advice of their father. Thus, they fulfilled a wish of their father and they were not able to prevent the events that would take place thereafter that, as per the law of Allah. What they were told to go separately was also based on the wisdom that Allah had given to Yaquoob for their protection. It was not based on superstition. Most people nowadays do not know all about this.

12:69

12:69. And when they all went to Yusuf; he took with him his brother Benyamin. He also secretly revealed that he was his brother Yusuf and that you should not worry about what would happen next with his brothers.

12:70

12:70. Later, when he had prepared the grain for them to join them, his timekeepers hid a measurement tool as per Yusuf's command in his brother Benyamin's bag. Then as everyone was getting ready to leave, an officer came running up, looked at them, and shouted, “O camel herd! You are all thieves!”.

12:71

12:71. To which they came to the officers and said, “What have you lost?”

12:72

12:72. To which he replied, “A single government-sealed measurement tool is missing here. Those who find it will receive a camel-load of grain as a reward. I promise that.”

12:73

12:73. When they heard this, they said, “We swear by Allah. We are not here to make any mess. You know that we have come here to buy our grain. Further, we belong to a good family. So, we are not thieves.”

12:74

12:74. They said, “Do you know what the punishment is if you are proved to be liars?” Asked the officers.

12:75

12:75. To which they replied, “We know the punishment for that. Whoever finds the stolen item in his bag will be arrested. In our country, the same punishment is given to those who do injustice.”

12:76

12:76. Accordingly, they checked each person's bag one by one. They pointed out that the tool was hidden in his bag. Thus, Yusuf devised a plan to keep his brother with him. Otherwise, according to the law of the land, one cannot keep any outsider with him. In this way, only those who use knowledge and perform well will get a high position and status according to the law of Rabbu. Remember that the educational wisdom of Allah is far greater than all.

12:77

12:77. When they saw it, they said to him, “It is as if his brother Yusuf was a thief. The same stealth has come to his brother who was born with him!” They said to themselves. When Yusuf heard this, he did not express his anger. Instead, he said to them, “Have you not changed your attitude after all this time? The evil thoughts you have will never leave you. That's what you came up with. Allah bears witness to how he was born.”

12:78

12:78. And when his brothers heard it they were terribly afraid. They begged Yusuf, “O Lord! He has an elderly father. If he hears about this incident, he would never admit it. We can never answer him or convince him. So leave him and stop one of us here instead of him. O, Lord! Up to this point, you have affectionately done us many favors. Please show us this one thing.”

12:79

12:79. On hearing this, Yusuf said, “May Allah save us! How can we arrest an innocent? Only he who steals can be arrested. That is the law. If we do that, we will become unjust.”

12:80

12:80. No matter how much they told him, their requests were rejected. So they lost faith in it and went into counseling themselves about what to say to their father.

Their elder brother said, “Imagine that our father sent Benyamin with us only after we had sworn allegiance to Allah. You are already guilty in the case of our brother Yusuf as well. So, I will not appear before my father until this problem is solved. I will only get there if he gives me permission. Or I will not leave this country until there is a good judgment from Allah for this.”

12:81

12:81. He said, “So go back to your father and tell him the truth about what happened here. Explain to them about the theft committed by his son. Tell him you witnessed it yourself. Let him know that you are not telling him anything but the truth.”

12:82

12:82. “If he still does not believe you, tell him to interrogate the others who came to buy grain from our town. Do something to convince him that you are speaking the truth.”

12:83

12:83. So, when they came into the city, they told his father Yaquoob the truth. He was very much shocked to hear this. “My son is a thief! No. Will never be. You are the one who plotted something against him and plotted to separate him from me. This is how your mind would have stimulated. I can do nothing but be patient at this moment. So, I tolerate this too. Allah suffices to bring both of them to me. I firmly believe that he is all-knowing and all-wise.”

12:84

12:84. Then he looked at his children and said, “The grief caused by Yusuf's separation has not yet left me. Is that another disaster?” Said Yaquoob with tears in his eyes, suppressing his grief.

12:85

12:85. His sons, seeing the grief of their father, rebuked him instead of uttering consoling words. They said, “Do you still think of him Yusuf ’ and ‘ Yusuf ’? Will you wipe yourself out like that? His thought has never left you yet! Allah bears witness to what we have said about Benyamin.”

12:86

12:86. To which he replied, “I turn my grief and anxiety to Allah Almighty. I know from Allah what you do not know.”

12:87

12:87. And he said, O my sons! You all go back to Egypt. Find out about Yusuf and his brother Benyamin there. Do not despair about the grace of Allah. No misery will come to those who act according to the guidance of Allah. His grace and help will not be available to those who act against it.”

12:88

12:88. They returned to the capital of Egypt and began to inquire about them. With no clue about Yusuf, they finally met the king and said, “O Lord! There was a great deal of tragedy in our family. We lost both of our brothers. We spent time searching for them. So we have no money to buy food grains. So, have mercy on us and give us more and more food grains free of cost. Surely, Allah rewards those who give alms.”

Dear Intellectuals? Notice how the condition of those who engage in evil deeds against clear guidance becomes miserable.

12:89

12:89. When Yusuf heard about this, he came to them and said, “How did you treat Yusuf and his brother Benyamin when you were arrogant? Do you remember that?”

When they heard this, they were startled. How did he know about his family and their plot? Assuming that he was saying everything that way, he thought that this might be his brother Yusuf,

12:90

12:90. “Are you our brother Yusuf? ” They asked. Yusuf replied, “Yes. I am Yusuf. Here it is! My brother Benyamin. Do you now realize that Allah has been gracious to us? So whoever fears Allah and obeys His command, He will never waste the deeds of those who do good.”

12:91

12:91. His speech and the high position he held. His brothers who saw him said, “By Allah! You treated us kindly, even though we have harmed you. Surely, Allah has exalted you above us.” They also apologized to Yusuf for the mistakes they had made.

12:92

12:92. To which he replied, “There is no sin against you today. May Allah protect you from the consequences of your wrongdoing. Thus, Allah is the Most Merciful of those who realize their mistakes and those who come forward to live a better life.”

12:93

12:93. All of you happily return to the city and tell our father the facts of what happened. Take my Royal dress and submit it to him as a sign that I am alive. Only then will the facts come to light for him. And bring all your family here.”

12:94

12:94. Similarly, their expedition left Egypt. At that time Reformist Yaquoob said to his villagers, “I would like to say one thing if you do not think me crazy. I feel that my son Yusuf is alive.”

12:95

12:95. And when they heard it, said unto him, “Do you still remember your son Yusuf? Only Allah knows whether he is alive or not.”

12:96

12:96. And when the camels had come to his hometown, a man came running to him and placed Yusuf’s shirt in front of him. When Yaquoob saw it, the darkness that had surrounded him was removed, and all things became clear. He then looked at the people and said, “I know from Allah that which you do not know?” He expressed his happiness by saying that loud.Yusuf had sent his dress with government seal.

Revelation System (Vahi): The System of “Vahi” revelations to all living beings in the world except man are set in their body system. For example, 16:68 says that We revealed to the honey bee. This means that it is an intrinsic motivation placed within the bee by Him. But such impulses are not placed in man. His language, culture, and morals will grow according to the circumstances in which he is born and raised. If a child born in Tamil Nadu is brought up in the UK and raised, it will speak only English and will not speak Tamil

This clarifies that revelation given to man is not the thoughts or knowledge that emerge within man. But is the guidance he receives from the revelation system of Rabbu. These revelations are not available from the outside surrounding him. So the “Vahi” revelations only mention the things that should guide the people of the world as far as the doctrine of clear guidance is concerned. That is, Rabbu clearly states only what is in His action plans. All these are things that man cannot attain such knowledge with his self-efforts. It unreservedly speaks of Rabbu's action plans concerning human life. So through the guidance revelations, human thinking power and action plans grow faster and help man a lot to set up life in the best way. So this guidance never says about unnecessary things, though he is a reformist!

For example, Allah informs Reformist Yusuf by a revelation about the conspiracies of Yusuf's brothers (see 12:15). But when Reformist Yaquoob missed his child Yusuf, it was his family affair. So Allah does not inform Yusuf’s status to him through revelation. Finally looking at the Royal Dress sent by Yusuf, he finds out that he is alive. The reason is that the dress sent by Yusuf was embossed with the Royal seal.

But in the case of Yusuf, since he is going to be the Reformist who will rule the country in the future when he was thrown into the well, fear may have affected him. So the message is then sent consoling him. And it was Rabbu's plan to create a great community of Israelites later, through the descendants of Yaquoob. So Vahi revelation message there was a necessary one.

And some believe that the message of revelation received by Reformist Yusuf was an intrinsic motivation that arose in his mind. So they think that the thoughts that roll in human minds are the revelation messages of Rabbu. This is completely the wrong view. Because if one plans to steal, will it become an act of Rabbu?

12:97

12:97. So their sons said to their father, “Our father! We have been operating in the wrong way to this day. We seek to protect ourselves from the effects of this. Please teach us the right guidance for this.”

12:98

12:98. He said, “I will certainly teach you guidance from Rabbu for your safe life. Allah is Most Gracious, Most Merciful.”

12:99

12:99. Then they all came to Yusuf at the invitation of Yusuf. He welcomed them all and made them stay with him with dignity. He added, “From now on we will all function according to the plans of Allah. So you can go anywhere in Egypt without fear and engage in public welfare.”

Thus, for some time, everyone worked there enthusiastically. After the death of the king of that country, the responsibility for the rule was passed on to the Reformist Yusuf.

12:100

12:100. He exalted his parents on the throne and gave them all the powers. Both of them were valued and respected. All of their sons obeyed their commands.

At that time Reformist Yusuf said to his father, “O My father! This is the outcome of the dream I had when I was young. My Rabbu has made this come true. He freed me from prison, removed the bitterness and hatred between me and my brothers, and brought them all out of the village. I will say that Rabbu has done me great good by this. I assure you, my Rabbu, that He has the power to do what He wills most subtly. Not only that but what doubt is there that Allah is Omnipotent and Wise?”

12:101

12:101. And he said, “O My Rabbi! You have qualified me to govern. You have also given us the wisdom to know the aftermath of world events so that I can advise the people and make them live better, I can easily bring many welfare schemes in the country. O Creator of the universe and the earth! You are the one Who protects me by making the way to live better in this worldly present life and future sustainable life! So as long as I live in this world, make me a better servant - a Muslim who strives for a better life for all the people of the country. May you add me to the list of the best Reformists in the world.”

12:102

12:102. All these are the true history of Reformist Yusuf which ended up happening. People have all forgotten the facts about this. So, O Reformist! You also know nothing about the truth. So these are announced through the clear revelations called Vahi. For Yusuf's brothers were not with you when they sought to conspire and after that, they were all united.

12:103

12:103. O, Reformist! You have an immense desire that people should live better by knowing the facts of this history and its lessons. But most people are not ready to accept this.

12:104

12:104. O, Reformist! You are advising people to have a better life for all. Do not expect any retribution from them for that. Explain to the people that all the lessons learned from these historical facts are advice given to the Global community.

12:105

12:105. Besides, there are infinite treasures of Allah hidden in all the universes and on the earth. The people are not ready to accept them if I tell them to explore them and develop the qualifications to reap the benefits.

12:106

12:106. Leaving all these repeated guidelines and emphasizing the rituals which are of no benefit are adhering to them. So most of them are Mushriks who live in a state of mindlessness.

12:107

12:107. As a result of doing so, social disorders occur and the time of calamity surrounds them according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah. Do they not think about it at all? Are they not being afraid that the consequences will come to them in a somewhat unexpected way?

12:108

12:108. O, Reformist! Inform the people, “All the methods I follow are based on clear wisdom and also those who follow me. They act on the basis of glorious wisdom. I call you all towards such clear wisdom. This is my straight path. There is no room for unnecessary rituals, myths, and superstitions here. The guidance of Allah is beyond all these. So, I have no choice but to follow His guidance.”

12:109

12:109. O, Reformist! Prior to you, We sent Our messengers to all the communities of the world. They are all born and raised in their community. They conveyed Our guidance to them in their own language (see 14: 4). Travel around the world to learn about them. Do they not see what their outcome was? Do they not realize that the result of every action is determined and that the societies that lived in fear of it have found a better life? Don't they think and accept this?

These historical facts point out another thing. That is, when Reformist Yaquoob gave instructions to his children, they did not accept them. But Yusuf had the mindset to accept the Reformist and his brother Benyamin. So, Yusuf comes to the top with his good character. His brothers faced a lot of problems and are pushed into a manipulative situation, after which they realized their mistakes and came to the right path. This is what happened in the case of each of the reformists. That is, when they guide their community, they do not accept it. When the consequences of their evil deeds came to the surface, later on, they accepted the guidance. Some of them perished totally.

12:110

12:110. Whenever they conveyed the guidance of Rabbu to their community, most of them refused to accept it and plotted against him. The reformist, noticing this, lose hope that they can no longer be corrected. They also fear for their lives. At such a point Rabbu continues to help them. Thus, those who act according to the Will of Rabbu get the protection of Rabbu. The perpetrators are punished according to their evil deeds.

The cycle of world history illustrates the same. This shows that when the people are going astray - the reformists come to correct them - the people plot against him - the reformists finally succeed - the perpetrators are doomed. Therefore, the wise should explore these facts and take steps to bring the wisdom of Rabbu to the people and correct them accordingly with patience and sobriety.

12:111

12:111. The wise people should explore these historical facts and take steps to bring the wisdom of Allah’s guidance to the people and correct them accordingly with patience and sobriety. This is the lesson to be learned from the historical events of the Holy Quran. So these historical events are not just stories. These are all real events that have taken place.

Such historical facts have already been revealed in the previous Scripture which they have with them. This Scripture reveals the facts which were revealed to them. In this way, every fact has been clearly explained in this Scripture. These are the best guidance for a better life. Those who think and act accordingly are blessed to be guided and blessed by Rabbu.

Status quo of the dream: Chapter Yusuf talks mainly about the results of the dream in the history of the Reformists. Based on this, many people publish books on the benefits of the dream. We need to know if all of their writings are correct. The instincts of ‘Sense’ are always active in the human body. Even if he sleeps it will be active. Always be vigilant. It is these instincts that motivate his actions. Thus, instincts grow as desires in him. His desires will be fulfilled according to the time, circumstances, occasion, and opportunity of his life. At the same time, many of his desires may go unfulfilled. The reason for this is that there will be no skill, effort, or hard work according to his desires. So, they will remain in his mind as unfulfilled desires. These desires will come up in dreams sometimes while asleep as if his desire is fulfilled.

As these ‘instinct senses’ grow in him they will take root in the mind as desires. The desire for friendship and love among young people can be an example of this. Since these desires are things related to human emotions, those feelings disable the control of the human mind. To fulfill his desires, he will manipulate any means. He will not even think about their consequences. Unfulfilled desires, even when he is asleep, appear in dreams as if they were fulfilled. These are the dreams that occur according to the circumstances of his life. So it is not fair to say that Everyone's dreams will have the same effects.

Reformist's Dream: For example, the Reformists, who are the Messengers of Rabbu, are always aware of the events that are taking place in society and their consequences and would be looking for ways to rectify them. These are their ideal dreams. Reformist Yusuf Nabi dreams of subduing the stars the sun and the moon. When he talks to his father about the dream, he explains to him the high position he would have and advises him to act accordingly. So he followed Rabbu's guidance at every stage of his life and lived with great ambition. Despite being imprisoned for many years, he worked tirelessly to achieve the highest record. His dream was an ideal dream and so he protected himself from falling into the trap of women.

Yusuf was the great-grandson of Reformist Ibrahim. His grandfather Isaac was a Reformist. These are all people who were in the ruling elite. But his father Yaquoob was not in the ruling status. So Yusuf's dream was to place his father in power, which he also won. Thus, he became a child who gave credit to his parents. Thus, each of us should have the ideal dreams of living better and naming ourselves as the ‘best citizens.

Prisoner's dream: Two prisoners dream of releasing from prison. Their thoughts would always be about when they would be released from prison. Their dreams were in line with it. So, Yusuf did not seem to have any difficulty in interpreting the outcome of their dreams. So, the focus is on the circumstances of his life. Their effects will also be different.

The King’s Dream: The attention and thinking of the king who rules a country will always be about governing the country better, maintaining that rule, and its security. So he dreams of seven lean cows devouring fat cows and asks for an explanation from the royal ministers and the general public, fearing that something dangerous will happen to his regime. It is explained to him by the Reformist Yusuf, who had received clear guidance.

Notice that the dream of a Reformist, the dream of a prisoner, and the dream of a king are in different directions. Their thoughts and efforts will be in line with the situation in which they live. Their dreams will be accordingly in the same line and outcome. So dreaming in sleep is ubiquitous. But it is not correct to say that their effects would be uniform.

Nightmares: Some people have nightmares and tremble during sleep. These are just disturbances in the digestive system. Some people find that lying down in one position will block the flow of blood between the heart and the brain and causes disturbances in breathing during sleep. It is followed by nightmares. Such people need to change the position in which they are lying. They should not be afraid of all this.

Are dreams necessary? In the case of dreaming, dreams are tailored to the circumstances, occasion, and state of mind. So, the effects of dreams are not likely to be the same for everyone. Just as a lame person longing for honey, so many people will be longing for and dreaming of something that cannot be achieved. This is not going to do any good. The dream must be taken as a dream. Perseverance, hard work, skill, and energy to achieve the dream of consciousness; And let us not go of the opposite view that we can get them just by dreaming in our sleep except that we can fulfill them only through moral virtues. There should be ideal dreams in everyone’s life. We must strive to fulfill them, just as Reformist Yusuf acted resolutely and showed them to the world. This is the lesson we can learn from the biography of Reformist Yusuf.
