بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)

الٓرۚ

ا Aleef - Allah. لٓ Lam - La-Ilaha Illallah. That is no Controller in the Universe except Allah - رۚ Ra – Rahman - The Most Beneficent

كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ لِتُخۡرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ١

14:1. This Book contains guidance, is revealed by Allah, the Most Beneficent and under whose control the whole universe function, and is to enlighten the people of the world from the darkness of ignorance. (See 33:43) These guidelines which are all based on His plans to lead the people of the world on the straight path, bear witness to the fact that all praises be to Allah.

ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ مِنۡ عَذَابٖ شَدِيدٍ٢

14:2. The incomparable power of Allah is that the universe and everything on earth act to fulfill His plans. Accordingly, darkness will envelop the lives of those who refuse to accept His guidance. So, their life becomes miserable.

ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡتَحِبُّونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا عَلَى ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي ضَلَٰلِۢ بَعِيدٖ٣

14:3. Because they do not care about future sustainable benefits. So, they live with the aim of only short-term benefits and happiness. But His guidance calls for the betterment of the present life and the future sustainable life. They are confusing the guidelines and preventing people from joining. Such are the ones who have gone far astray.

وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوۡمِهِۦ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمۡۖ فَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ٤

14:4. Guidelines are not something that is bestowed only to a particular country or a particular society but are suitable for people from all walks of life around the world. So, We sent Reformists to explain it in the language they speak. So, the plan of Allah is to leave those who do not want to accept them astray and to guide those who seek to accept them. (See 18:29). All of Allah's plans are transparent and based on wisdom.

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِ‍َٔايَٰتِنَآ أَنۡ أَخۡرِجۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرۡهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٖ٥

14:5. Thus, Moosa Nabi was also one of the Reformists who came to the world. As his community was plunged into the darkness of misguidance, we sent him to preach Our guidance and enlighten them from the darkness of ignorance. We commanded them to remind them of the dignity and high status which their ancestors had gained by following Our guidance. Not only that, but we also sent through him the good news that those who act firmly as per Our guidance and act with determination will have this elevation, dignity, and prosperous life.

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٞ٦

14:6. Moosa Nabi said to his people, “Remember how Allah saved you from Fir’aun and his people, and has been gracious to you.” Think about the extent to which they persecuted you. Fearing that his rule would be endangered by the brave men among you, his target was to kill them and allow the cowards to live. Imagine the great help that Allah has saved you from such terrible torment.”

وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَئِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٞ٧

14:7. The message said: The purpose of freeing yourself from them is to better nurture the hidden energies in you and make you better to function with all abilities. If you act accordingly, you will get more of the grace of Rabbu and reach a higher level. If you disobey His guidance, your life will turn into hell.

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِن تَكۡفُرُوٓاْ أَنتُمۡ وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ٨

14:8. In this way, Moosa Nabi informed the historical facts and said to them, “If you act according to His guidance, it will be for your benefit. Otherwise, even if you all get together and change it, it will not cause any harm to Allah. Be sure that the adverse effects will be only to you, At the same time, do not think that if you act as per Allah’s guidance, it will help Him. He has no need. Know that all His action plans are commendable.”

أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَعَادٖ وَثَمُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُهُمۡ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ

14:9. And he said, “I have told you many times the historical facts of the people who lived before you, such as Nooh Nabi, Community of Aadh, and Samoodh, and the historical facts of the people who lived after them.

جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرَدُّوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فِيٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كَفَرۡنَا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ

The Reformists who came to them revealed the historical facts narrated by Allah through revelation. But the people did not let the reformist speak.

وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَنَآ إِلَيۡهِ مُرِيبٖ٩

They said. “We do not accept whatever you tell us. And we have no hope that whatever you call on the side of Allah’s Regime will happen here.”

۞قَالَتۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ أَفِي ٱللَّهِ شَكّٞ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ لِيَغۡفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ

14:10. The Reformists said to them, “Do you have any doubt in the guidance of Allah the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and the earth? This call is made to remove the evil habits that exist among you and to give you a safer life. And you can never do evil deeds. A time limit has been set for the consequences of your actions.”

قَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأۡتُونَا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ١٠

Fearing this advice, the community people said, “You are nothing more than a normal human being like us. Let it be other things, have you come to prevent us from the social systems that our forefathers have been following for a long time, claiming that they were right? If it is true, bring the evidence to support your claim that all our worshipping methods will be destroyed and that the guidance of Rabbu alone will prevail.”

قَالَتۡ لَهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ إِن نَّحۡنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۖ

14:11. To which the reformists said to them, “We acknowledge that we are human beings like you. But Allah’s guidelines are all related to His plans with regard to mankind. These guidelines are revealed to those who are in His choice and who deserve it. And then about the benefits, they would get.

وَمَا كَانَ لَنَآ أَن نَّأۡتِيَكُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ١١

Only by following the guidelines, you will get their benefits. We cannot bring those benefits in front of you. But of course, we have complete faith in the guidance of Allah. So, we will surely succeed in our endeavor.”

وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنَا سُبُلَنَاۚ وَلَنَصۡبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاذَيۡتُمُونَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ١٢

14:12. And the Reformists said to their people, “Why should we not accept and follow such clear evidence? We have received from Rabbu all means to succeed in our endeavor. Even if you harm us by not fulfilling these plans, we are ready to endure them. To that extent, we have complete confidence in Allah's plans and unshakable commitment.”

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِرُسُلِهِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِنَآ أَوۡ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَاۖ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ لَنُهۡلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ١٣

14:13. When the people heard this, they said to the reformists, “You must be driven out of our country. There is no other way for us. Or you can come back to our social system as before.” On the other hand, the message from Rabbu to the reformist said, “Do not be afraid. These unjust people will perish according to Our Laws.”

وَلَنُسۡكِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامِي وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ١٤

14:14. And the message said, “We will save you and your followers from them and make ways for a better life. These are not Our ambitions to support you and eliminate enemies. That means that they will perish because of their unjust acts according to the rules which We have established, and followers will be saved because of their good deeds in the fear of Our warnings.”

وَٱسۡتَفۡتَحُواْ وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ١٥

14:15. Thus, the two factions acted accordingly, and in the end, the stubborn crowd perished according to the framed laws of Allah.

مِّن وَرَآئِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسۡقَىٰ مِن مَّآءٖ صَدِيدٖ١٦

14:16. Those catastrophes were never temporary ones. They were plunged into the abyss of hellish torments of permanent destruction. The food they got there was rotten and smelly. Their situation became that much worse.

يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُۥ وَيَأۡتِيهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٖ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٖۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٞ١٧

14:17. Thus, they had to experience this predicament little by little with no other option. And because they were accustomed to living in luxury, they could not digest this awkward situation. They all realized that death was surrounding them, but death was not coming. Thus, they were afflicted with afflictions from all sides.

These are the sufferings they experienced in this world. The pain that follows death will be many times greater. These are all historical facts that happened. This is not just for them.

مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمۡۖ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ كَرَمَادٍ ٱشۡتَدَّتۡ بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِي يَوۡمٍ عَاصِفٖۖ لَّا يَقۡدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُواْ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلۡبَعِيدُ١٨

14:18. And also those who refuse to accept Rabbu’s guidance and turn against it will find themselves in such a critical situation. All their efforts will be reduced to ashes. All their hard work will never bring lasting benefits in this world as if the ashes are blown away in a single wind. Besides, none of the wealth they have earned will help them.

Dear Intellectuals! Have you noticed why such a state of affairs occurs only in the case of human beings in this world?

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَيَأۡتِ بِخَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٖ١٩

14:19. Don’t you observe all the creations of Allah in the universe and the earth? They are all capable of delivering creative benefits. Those who do not yield any benefit to this world will perish. Instead, new creations will occupy your place. As such it is essential that the cultural life you follow should be such as to yield creative benefits. If that doesn't work, that culture will perish. This is the canon of Rabbu. (See 4:133, 9:39, 47:38)

Bullock carts, for example, were the only means of transportation in ancient times. But they do not adapt to the current situation. So, they could not take the lead in this world. Instead, machine-equipped vehicles have been developed and are in use. Examine each work as well. The facts will be clear. But the man only wants to preserve the rituals that he has been following since ancient times. If anyone comes up with something modern, then they, instead of thinking about their position, would bluntly oppose it.

وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٖ٢٠

14:20. So, let all know that it is not difficult for Allah to create new creations in your place.

وَبَرَزُواْ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعٗا فَقَالَ ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُاْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمۡ تَبَعٗا

14:21. Still, you have chances. Come forward to engage in social reformation programs in obedience to the advice of Allah. Failure to do so will inevitably result at the moment when you all meet on the battlefield by the command of Allah.

فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّغۡنُونَ عَنَّا مِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ قَالُواْ لَوۡ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَيۡنَٰكُمۡۖ

In the aftermath of the defeat, the strong and arrogant leaders in society will be asked by the weak who followed them, “Is there any way to escape from this torment?” Then the leaders will have no option but to say, “If we had found a way to escape, we would have surely informed you!

سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡنَآ أَجَزِعۡنَآ أَمۡ صَبَرۡنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٖ٢١

Now we ourselves are trying out best to escape! Whether we are patient bearing these troubles or impatient by the tension at this moment, it makes no difference. There is nothing that we can do about it. There seems to be no way to escape from here.”

وَقَالَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمۡ وَعۡدَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمۡ فَأَخۡلَفۡتُكُمۡۖ

14:22. Thus, when tragedies occur according to the framed laws of Allah, the leaders, who were involved in anti-social activities will declare, “Today has become a proof that all the severe torments that Allah has revealed to you through the reformists up to this day have come true.

وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنٍ إِلَّآ أَن دَعَوۡتُكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَجَبۡتُمۡ لِيۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۖ مَّآ أَنَا۠ بِمُصۡرِخِكُمۡ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُصۡرِخِيَّ إِنِّي كَفَرۡتُ بِمَآ أَشۡرَكۡتُمُونِ مِن قَبۡلُۗ إِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ٢٢

We also vowed to save you. But we could not keep up our promise to save you. So, we had to change our stand. You accepted our invitation and followed us. Other than that, we had never compelled you to follow us. So do not blame us. Blame yourself. Neither we can save ourselves nor you. We are not responsible for the fact that you have not followed the guidance of Allah. Of course, we know that the perpetrators have painful torments.”

Dear Intellectuals! It has been said in these verses that Satan will look at you and say this. To this, we have given the meaning as, “those who follow their desires and their leaders who guide them.” The reason is that these are all about what is happening or will happen in this world.

But if the devil looks at the man on the Day of resurrection and says the same words, how precarious the condition of man will be. So, Satan, as a separate creation, never calls man towards the wrong path. Satan is the evil sense that operates in every human being. They are the ones who are constantly inciting him to do wrong. On the Day of Resurrection, the devilish mind will easily depart from him. So, he becomes responsible for all his actions. If human knowledge is empowered by Allah’s guidance, then the satanic desires will be under the control of the knowledge of guidance. Otherwise, the human mind will be enslaved to its will and dragged in the wrong direction. This is the true condition of Satan.

وَأُدۡخِلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ فِيهَا سَلَٰمٌ٢٣

14:23. On the contrary, the community of those who accept the guidance of Allah, devise creative best social welfare schemes, and work for it day or night, will become like Paradise. Everyone in it will be happy. According to their hard work, generous economic facilities will continue to grow like the perennial rivers. All their action plans will be based on the welfare of all.

O followers of the guidance of Rabbu! Consider how the situation of the two different societies mentioned above changes.

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا كَلِمَةٗ طَيِّبَةٗ كَشَجَرَةٖ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصۡلُهَا ثَابِتٞ وَفَرۡعُهَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ٢٤

14:24. Notice how Allah illustrates you with the best example of these two communities. One who lives better with good ethics is compared to a tree that is spread over the sky producing everbearing fruits and aroma, and its roots penetrated deep into the earth.

تُؤۡتِيٓ أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينِۢ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهَاۗ وَيَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ٢٥

14:25. And the tree that bears its fruit in all seasons, according to framed laws of Rabbu, the nourishing system of the whole world. This is an example of a society that functions better according to the advice of Allah. Such examples are given by Rabbu to the people to think and act on His advice.

وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَةٖ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ ٱجۡتُثَّتۡ مِن فَوۡقِ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَا لَهَا مِن قَرَارٖ٢٦

14:26. On the contrary, an example for those who follow other means equating Allah’s guidance - is like a fruitless tree. Its roots do not go in the depths of the earth in such a way that it would not have the strength to withstand even a slight gust of wind. So, they tend to be rooted.

يُثَبِّتُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ ٱلثَّابِتِ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَۚ وَيَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ٢٧

14:27. Thus the guidance of Allah calls towards a better life with consistent principles. So, it promises that any society that accepts and acts on Rabbu's guidance will find their present life and future sustainable life to be better. Conversely, any society that disobeys the guidance of Allah and deviates from it, will engage in sinful activities and goes astray. So, the social system which they are building will be deteriorating and heading towards destruction. This is the standard law that Allah has enacted in the matter of human beings. This is because Allah has the unique power to do whatever He wishes.

۞أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ بَدَّلُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفۡرٗا وَأَحَلُّواْ قَوۡمَهُمۡ دَارَ ٱلۡبَوَارِ٢٨

14:28. Turn to the pages of world history based on this theory. The facts will explain how those who misused all the blessings given by Allah for the betterment of human life were thrown into the abyss of destruction.

جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ٢٩

14:29. Thus, they gradually reached the gates of the tormenting hell. Only then did they realize how bad the place they had reached was.

What is the use of realizing at that time? Will there be any way to recover from that? If people today realize this and act on it, they can escape from their bad status prevalent. But have you noticed their activities?

وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ أَندَادٗا لِّيُضِلُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۗ قُلۡ تَمَتَّعُواْ فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ٣٠

14:30. They are using the name of Allah, abandoning His guidance, and teaching other means equating it. Thus, they lead the people astray from the guidance of Allah. O, Reformist! Explain this fact to the people. If they do not agree, tell them, “Enjoy for a while. Know that your ultimate destination will be hell.”

قُل لِّعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُنفِقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ يَوۡمٞ لَّا بَيۡعٞ فِيهِ وَلَا خِلَٰلٌ٣١

14:31. O, Reformist! Ask the social activist to follow the advice of Allah and establish a social system that forbids evil deeds. And urge them to extend material helps or other public services to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable people in the community. These aids and services can be done indirectly or openly. But start doing them right away. Do it today what you want to do tomorrow. Do it now what you want to do today. Understand that this is not a give-and-take business that can be done anytime.

Because observe the cyclical movement of time as to how it moves forward along with the functions of these cosmic creations. They never go backward. So, if you establish this social welfare system and strive for the betterment of society, on the other hand, the administrative system of Allah will stand by you.

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزۡقٗا لَّكُمۡۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ لِتَجۡرِيَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ٣٢

14:32. Allah is the sole Creator and Sustainer of the universe and the earth. It was Allah who made the arrangements for the rain to fall from the sky. With that rainwater, various fruits and grains grow as your food items. According to the same natural law of creation, it is Allah Who created the ships that float like mountains in the sea and the perineal rivers of life, in such a way that you can make them use of.

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ دَآئِبَيۡنِۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ٣٣

14:33. Not only that, Allah created the sun and the moon and arranged for them to rotate in their given orbits. That is why night and day are alternating. With these, you can function better during the day and rest at night. This is how they are all designed to benefit you.

وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلۡتُمُوهُۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَظَلُومٞ كَفَّارٞ٣٤

14:34. And it is Allah Who created and provided for you all that you need for your pleasant life. (See also 55:29). If you start counting these life-giving creations and blessings, you will not be able to count them. (See 18:109) These are the arrangements made for the betterment of mankind as a whole. But man tries to own them and claims that all of them as his own. This causes so much confusion and problems in society. Thus, he becomes unjust and ungrateful.

The reformists came to correct this tendency of man and to arrange for all to live in peace and tranquility. Reformist Ibrahim was one of the reformists who came like that. It was with this aim in mind that he established a “House of Common” at Ka’aba (see 2:125).

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدَ ءَامِنٗا وَٱجۡنُبۡنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ ٱلۡأَصۡنَامَ٣٥

14:35. He expressed his ambitions which he had cherished, “O My Rabbu! May the city of Makkah be a sanctuary of peace and tranquility! This is why I have erected and established this “House of Common” as a secretariat as per Your order. O, my Rabbu! safeguard me and my followers from those forces which create hindrance in the development process and see to it that we do not go the other way.” Explain these historical facts to the people.

رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضۡلَلۡنَ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّيۖ وَمَنۡ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ٣٦

14:36. And he said, “O My Rabbu! Surely most of people have gone astray, leaving behind Your guidance and following other means. So only those who follow Your guidance belong to me. Anyone who changes this is not from me. Even if he's my father! (See 60:4). However, May You protect people from all walks of life and guide us to act with compassion for them!”

رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّيٓ أَسۡكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيۡرِ ذِي زَرۡعٍ عِندَ بَيۡتِكَ ٱلۡمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجۡعَلۡ أَفۡ‍ِٔدَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهۡوِيٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱرۡزُقۡهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَشۡكُرُونَ٣٧

14:37. “O My Rabbu! With such lofty intentions, I am settling my son and some of my followers in the desert valley, ‘Kaaba’ where no farming is possible. (See 2: 127-128) Create a social structure to make all the people here act in the way You have shown to them so that all the people can live better. Make the support and cooperation of the people available for this. And make generous living facilities for the people here to have a prosperous life.”

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعۡلَمُ مَا نُخۡفِي وَمَا نُعۡلِنُۗ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ٣٨

14:38. “O Our Rabbu! You surely know what we have hidden in our minds and how we act openly. Yet nothing that happens in the universe or on earth is hidden from You.”

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى ٱلۡكِبَرِ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ٣٩

14:39. “O My Rabbu! I was getting very old, You have given birth to two sons, Ismail and Isaac and it is worthy of all praise. You are the One who fulfills our ambitions by giving due rewards to those who work in the way You have shown.”

Just as You have given me the privilege of giving birth to a child in old age, You can also create a better society and make it glorious with Your guidance, even if society is in an irreversible state of disrepair.

رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ٤٠

14:40. “O Creator and Sustainer of us all! May your guidance lead me and my followers to follow the rules and regulations in an organized way that has been developed to lead society in a structured manner. May You accept the good deeds we are doing!”

رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ٤١

14:41. “O Creator and Sustainer of us all! Make me, my parents*, the followers who accept Your guidance and act better, be guided to be safe from all dangers. We know that there is accountability to all our activities. Make those account cases easier for us.”

Although his father had an alternative policy, praying to Rabbu for his safety reflected his goodwill. (See 9: 114)

These were the ambitious dreams in the mind of Reformist Ibrahim Nabi. When he was in Syria, he established social welfare centers called “Millath” to safeguard the down-trodden people. One day, he dreamed his son Ismail, who was born to him in old age, as if being slaughtered. and he expressed this to his son to have his views, thinking that maybe it was the command of Allah. (See 37:102-103) Thus they both went to the peak of sacrifice. But Allah did not want such a sacrifice. Rather it was a His decree to settle his son Ismail in Kabatullah and devote himself to look after its welfare programs. (See 37:107). That is why he brought his son Ismail to the desert forest. (14:37).

Thus, he made all the security arrangements for all the people of the world to live in peace and tranquility (see 3:97) and is recorded in world history as the best leader of the people of the world - Imam. (See 2:124 & 37:108). Following in the footsteps of Reformist Ibrahim, who acted with such lofty intentions, Reformist Muhammad Nabi also came to carry out the functions of the “House of Common” as Secretariat to the fullest extent (see 6:161). But the people of today have forgotten all these facts.

Note: There is no truth in the saying that Reformist Ibrahim Nabi brought his child Ismail and his wife to Kabatullah and turned back leaving them aloof, followed by fabricated stories of Zam Zam, and Safa Marva as found in Thora.

وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعۡمَلُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ لِيَوۡمٖ تَشۡخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ٤٢

14:42. O, Reformist! Now, let no one be under the impression that Allah is unaware of evil deeds which the people are committing. All their wrongdoings are being reported very accurately. The period of time given to them is all until the consequences of their actions appear. (See 16:61) Then they will enter a tormenting hell.

مُهۡطِعِينَ مُقۡنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمۡ لَا يَرۡتَدُّ إِلَيۡهِمۡ طَرۡفُهُمۡۖ وَأَفۡ‍ِٔدَتُهُمۡ هَوَآءٞ٤٣

14:43. At such a time, they will run fluttering without looking back in any direction. Their focus will be in search of any hiding place. Yet with the flow of their heartbeats will clog their throats.

وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ نُّجِبۡ دَعۡوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَۗ أَوَ لَمۡ تَكُونُوٓاْ أَقۡسَمۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٖ٤٤

14:44. Warn those who engage in misdeeds that such a painful situation will surely come. Even if they continue with their illegal activities, they at painful times will say, “O, Our Rabbu! May you give us some respite. We will accept Your guidance and act in the way shown by Your messenger.” To which the reply would be, “You have been firm that your ruling power will never decline! What happened now?”

وَسَكَنتُمۡ فِي مَسَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ فَعَلۡنَا بِهِمۡ وَضَرَبۡنَا لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ٤٥

14:45. “Have We not informed you of the histories of many of the communities that preceded you? Is there not a warning to those who engage in unrighteous acts and seek their own destruction? Thus, We have illustrated with many examples the consequences of human actions ordained by Us (see 11:56)! You never changed your attitudes!”

وَقَدۡ مَكَرُواْ مَكۡرَهُمۡ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكۡرُهُمۡ وَإِن كَانَ مَكۡرُهُمۡ لِتَزُولَ مِنۡهُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ٤٦

14:46. ​​“And you have done many tricks so as not to get the rule of Rabbu. Did We not inform you in advance that all your maneuvers will go waste before Allah's plan, even though you are as firm as mountains in those maneuvers?”

Despite such a detailed precaution, you have not stopped the wrongdoing! What is the use of repenting now for what you have done?

فَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِفَ وَعۡدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٞ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٖ٤٧

14:47. So let no one ever expect a change in the law of “consequences for human deeds” which Allah has declared through His Messengers. Remember that the plans of Allah are all-pervading and determined to punish the guilty.

يَوۡمَ تُبَدَّلُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُۖ وَبَرَزُواْ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡوَٰحِدِ ٱلۡقَهَّارِ٤٨

14:48. Therefore the rule of law is sure to come into force in this world according to the guidance of Rabbu. Then, this world will be a different world. The status quo of those in the highest ranks of the heavens will change, and the Regime will fall into the hands of the good people. At such a time all judgments and projects will take place under the guidance of Allah, the One and Only Controller of the universe.

وَتَرَى ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَصۡفَادِ٤٩

14:49. So you will see that the guilty are bound in chains at that time when the rule of Allah will be established.

Thus, even if it is too late for that rule to take place here, this punishment will certainly be available in life after death.

سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٖ وَتَغۡشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ٥٠

14:50. And all their garments shall be as tarred. Their faces will change like fire and they will be filled with unbearable pains.

لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا كَسَبَتۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ٥١

14:51. All these punishments from Allah are the result of human deeds. Let all know that there is no delay in the law of accountability that Allah has set.

That is, the consequences of human actions are rapid. But they cannot be perceived by man. The reason is that they appear only after a period of time. Take the consumption of liquor, for example.

هَٰذَا بَلَٰغٞ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُواْ بِهِۦ وَلِيَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ٥٢

14:52. The purpose of presenting facts that have already happened or are about to happen -

(1) Man should easily achieve the goal of his life in light of these historical facts.

(2) One must act with caution before knowing the consequences of their wrongdoing.

(3) Everything in the universe and the world operates by the command of Allah. No power other than Him takes place. Man must also obey His commands only.

(4) So it is true for any society in the world, “We have to live with the consideration that if we act against the commands of Allah, we will face its consequences.”
