ط Crystal clear Guidance. The Supreme Power of Vision and Hearing - مٓ The Power to know every happening of the world
28:1. This Crystal-clear guidance is revealed through this Scripture by Allah, the Supreme Power of vision and hearing, and the One who is fully aware of every happening of the world.
28:2. It is a Scripture that clearly explains the detailed way of life to the people of the world.
28:3. We narrate to you the historical facts of Reformist Moosa Nabi and the tyrant King Fir’aun. We point these out so that those in the community who have graciously accepted His guidance can learn lessons and live better.
28:4. The historical fact is that Fir’aun, who ruled as an authoritarian, was causing a lot of chaos in his country. In order to maintain his rule, he divided the people of the country into several factions, weakening the Israelites in them. For this, he used to kill the brave men among them and let the cowards survive. (See also 2: 49,7: 141 & 40: 25)
That is to say, instead of treating people of all walks of life equally, he gave good privileges only to those of his own race and treated others as second-class citizens. It never occurred to him that it was wrong to act like this. (See 27:34)
28:5. But Rabbu's plan has been to help the oppressed and the weak. The practical law of Rabbu seeks to help them accordingly and to hand over power to them and make them rulers.
28:6. Thus it was planned to overthrow King Fir’aun and his right-hand Haman who was with him as clergy, according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Rabbu, and to make the Israelites strong enough to show the consequences of the misrule. And the plan was that rule that Fir’aun and Haman had so lovingly embraced was to be snatched away from them.
Did you notice? This shows that the weak in the country are empowered to suppress the injustices that are taking place in the world and that Rabbu will never intervene directly and destroy the injustice. (See 2: 210)
28:7. According to the plan of Rabbu, plans were made to raise Moosa Nabi, who was born in that country in the best possible way. Accordingly, We said to his mother, “Raise the child in a manner as generally a mother does.” If you fear that you will have trouble raising the baby, put it in an ark and leave it in the river. Do not be afraid or be sad that doing so will cause the child to live apart. Arrangements will be made to have the baby back with you. And the child born to you will be one of Our Messengers in future.”
28:8. “And the child will reach Fir’aun's family. Growing up well there, he would become an enemy to Fir’aun and Haman. The reason is that they and their soldiers are involved in all atrocities. Your son will knock on it.”
28:9. “And don't be afraid that they will kill your child. Since Fir’aun has no son, his wife will raise your beautiful child. She will be firm not to kill the baby. She would say that she would adopt the child so that it can benefit them. They do not know what Rabbu's plan is.”
So, His message said to put the baby in the ark and leave it in the river. History tells us that Shu’ayb Nabi was a Reformist at that time. So, this message seems to have been sent through him to the mother of Moosa Nabi. Even if the message has come from Rabbu, would any mother agree to put her child in an ark and leave it in the river? She was very much worried as to what to do if the child was swept away in the river.
28:10. Thus, the mind of Moosa’s mother was aggrieved with anguish. However, she did not reveal it to anyone because she wholeheartedly accepted Rabbu’s plan. Perhaps if her mind had not been convinced, she would have revealed to others about Rabbu’s plan of action.
So, she put the child in the ark and left it in the river. She called her eldest daughter and sent her along the river to find out what was happening to the baby. So much was her anxiety.
28:11. And so she said to Moosa’s sister, to follow the arc. She also watched from a distance where it was going so that no one could watch her. She saw Fir’aun's men carrying the child.
28:12. She also heard that the baby was having trouble drinking milk. So, she went into the palace and said to the queen, “Shall I send a mother who is responsible for raising the child better? The mother comes from a good family. So, there will be no harm to that child.”
Accordingly, with their prior permission, Moosa Nabi’s mother was selected to raise him.
28:13. Thus, these arrangements were made to console Moosa’s mother so that she would not grieve. Surely, she knew that the promises of Allah were true. And her baby came to herself. But the members of the royal family did not know what Rabbu's plan was.
Thus, Moosa Nabi grew better in the palace. There he was well educated, trained in martial arts, and grew up well versed in everything from royal tactics.
28:14. And when he reached adolescence, he acquired a full degree of academic wisdom and became an excellent activist. In this way, the good people are rewarded by Rabbu.
Do you notice? This hike and decent life are not awarded to reformists alone, but also to all who do well as per Rabbu's guidance and they will receive such elevation and dignity. The promise of Rabbu will never be wrong. Moosa Nabi grew up according to Rabbu's plan of action and was well educated and wise. In those Moose’s days, the king or his minister would disguise themselves and spy on the city to find out what was going on in the country. Moosa Nabi was also accustomed to traveling in the same way.
28:15. One day when all the people were fast asleep, at midnight Moosa went on around over city. There he saw two men fighting. One of them belonged to his own race and the other to a hostile race. The man of his own race begged for help against the enemy.
So, he punched the enemy and he died on the spot. When Moosa Nabi saw this, he repented. He felt sad that he had taken a haste decision without thinking about anything and thought that his action was on an emotional pace. By doing so, the man commits mistakes. He regretted that this was an act of hostility to man and humanity.
28:16. Moosa Nabi realized his mistake and said, “O, My Rabbu! Of course, I harmed myself. So, protect me from this!” As such he got the means of protection. Surely Rabbu's protection and warmth will be available to those who make ignorant mistakes.
28:17. He said, “O, My Rabbu! I will ever be grateful for the facility you have given to me. So, I will never act in favor of the criminals.”
Dear Intellectuals! Remember that all these events took place before Moosa’s status of “Nabi” Although he lived in Fir’aun's palace with all the comforts, his mother seems to have taught him Rabbu's advice. He also seems to have had a sense of hasty decisions because he lived in the palace. At the same time, notice that he realizes his mistakes and prays to Him.
28:18. At dawn, he returned to the city to find out the status quo. He was also afraid that someone would identify him. Then the same person who had called for help last night got into a fight with another man and called Moosa Nabi again for the help. When Moosa Nabi saw this, he said, “You seem to be creating public nuisance! How can I help you?”
That day too, there is a conflict between the Fir’aunis and the Israelites. When Moosa saw this, he told his tribe about the incident last night and tried to beat him up and remove them apart. Thus, the fact about the murderer became known to the Fir’auns.
28:19. When Moosa Nabi came to capture and remove, the enemy began to shout, thinking that he was about to attack himself. “Moosa! Do you want to kill me today as you killed a man yesterday? You are trying to confuse the country! You did not seek peace among the people!”.
Did you notice? Members of the ruling elite will always want the authorities to act in their favor no matter what injustice is done. Taking action against injustice would be considered a heinous crime. This is exactly what is happening in the world today. Moosa understood this fact too. And the news of the assassination by Moosa the day before spread rapidly among the people. They decided to take action against the murderer because he did not belong to the ruling class.
28:20. Someone ran up to him and said, “O Moosa! The leaders in this town are all consulting to kill you. So, leave this place. I tell you this for your good.” So Moosa left that place and went to a place far away.
28:21. So when he heard this, he trembled. He was very careful and escaped without anyone knowing. He prayed, “O, My Rabbu! May you save me from this wicked society!”
28:22. Thus he went to the side of Madhyan. He went there with full confidence that he would get guidance from his Rabbu.
28:23. And when he went to the country of Madhyan, he saw there also some injustice going on. There a crowd was feeding water for their cattle. He saw two young girls standing nearby, unable to fetch water for their sheep. He went nearby and inquired what was going on there. The two girls replied, “We cannot feed water to our sheep until these shepherds’ water their livestock. There is no one to tap into this. Our father is very old.”
Moosa was very much upset when he saw this. I could not bear to see the suffering of the Israelites in Egypt. But what is happening here is even worse. Why do the powerful oppress the poor and needy? Why is there no justice in any country? Moosa could not tolerate this. So, he chased away those shepherds.
28:24. He arranged for water for the two sheep. He then stood aside in the shade of a tree. He submitted his ambitions, “O, My Rabbu! Protect me from making mistakes here too! May You inform me of good instructions for this! I need Your guidance very much.”
Dear Intellectuals! Have you noticed that even before getting the status of Nabi, a Reformist had an insatiable desire to be guided? This is why such people deserve the choice of getting the status of Nabi. We too can be guided only if we pray to Rabbu for guidance and make due efforts to do so. Because that guidance is in this Qur’an.
28:25. Then one of the two girls came to Moosa with modesty and said, “Our father has invited you to reward you for the help you have done.” So, he went with them and told him the truth about himself. The aged scholar who heard him encouraged Moosa. He also consoled him for safe life here free from the oppressive community.
28:26. One of the two women asked her father to employ him. The reason is that when she found his bravery and strength in watering the sheep. She said he also looks good character when it comes to keeping up with them.
28:27. The scholar, noticing this, agreed to employ him. But imposed certain conditions on it. That means staying there for up to eight years to work and marry one of his two daughters. He further said that he has no objection even if he works for up to ten years. The scholar said that he would make him comfortable and assured Moosa that he was one of the good ones as he was acting according to the will of Allah.
28:28. To this, Moosa said that he would accept the covenant made between them. He promised to work up to ten years as per the contract. But scholar said, “it is your choice to stay there for more than eight years. Allah is the witness to this agreement.”
Seeing that Moosa Nabi had signs of receiving the status of Nabi the Scholar seems to have asked him to stay for eight to ten years in order to make him well trained and fully qualified to get status of Nabi. Also important is the incident in which he was sent to correct the hasty character that was with him and get used to it. (18: 60-70)
28:29. And Moosa Nabi stayed there and married one of his two daughters according to their covenant. While he was traveling with his companions, they arrived at the foot of a mountain called Thoor. As it was getting dark, he saw a flame of fire in the distance and told his companions to stay. He said he saw the flame of the fire and was going to bring it.
He left, saying that by the light of the fire everyone could cool off and spend the night (see 27: 7) or find a way out.
28:30. When he came near the light of the fire, he saw a beautiful atmosphere with all the resources. He saw that there was a fountain between them. From nearby trees, there came a voice, “O Moosa! I am Allah, Rabbu of the worlds.”
Following that incident, he had the privilege of receiving direct guidance from Rabbu. He was told that he need not wander in search of His guidance any longer and that guidance would come to him. (See 20:12) The Scriptures containing the commandments were given gradually (see 20: 14-16).
28:31. Following that, the command came from Rabbu to submit to the people the scriptural counsel he had in his possession. (See 26:10) Similarly, when he spoke to the people, the opposition from the people intensified. So, he retreated in fear, just as a man would run away on seeing a snake. Allah said, “Do not be afraid about the protests. Keep up the good work. You will have all kinds of protection from the people.” Those who present the message will not despair in their life (see 27:10).
28:32. And keep all the guidance of Rabbu in mind and present it to the people with proper evidence. Over time, it will become clear to the people that they are true to guide for the enlightened life of man. (See 27:12) And do not be discouraged if you find yourself in danger. Coordinate with all those who accept you and make security arrangements at full speed. Doing so would give the strength to resist Fir’aun and his supporters. Only then will he and his colleagues understand the truth. Because they all belong to a sinful society.
Thus, came guidance to Reformist Moosa Nabi. After gathering the support of the people, His command came to address His guidance to Fir’aun. (See 79:17). But even that task seemed to him very risky. The reason was that he had already committed murder and lived in hiding. So, he said to Rabbu:
28:33. “O My Rabbu! I killed someone from the Fir’aun community. So, they will hang me for the murder I committed. I am afraid they will kill me.”
28:34. And as I am unable to speak fluently, I have to let my brother Haroon come with me. Because he is much clearer in speech than I am. He will assist me from time to time. And if I do not explain it to them, they will call it a lie.” (See 20: 25-35)
28:35. And He said to him, “Take your brother with you, as you have asked. We will stand by you and strengthen your arm. Our plan ensures success for both of you. With the well-established guidance that We have given you, both you and your followers will subdue the ruling Fir’auns.”
28:36. But when Reformist Moosa narrated to them the guidance of Rabbu, they said, “These are all deceptive works of imagination.” They also said that they had never heard of such things from their ancestors.
Dear Intellectuals! They present the customs of the ancestors as the basis for the method they follow. They have no evidence to argue intellectually. And because the ethics brought by the Reformists are new, people cannot understand them. So, they would only oppose this as a last resort. This is a fact that still happens today.
28:37. Reformist Moosa Nabi said, “All the guidance I give you is from the Almighty, the Knower of all human deeds.” So, Rabbu knows well who is on the right track and who is on the wrong path. He also knows whose means will lead man to paradise. He, therefore, concluded that those who engage in wrongdoing will never succeed in their goal, according to the legal provisions set forth by Rabbu, “the consequences of human action.”
Reformist Moosa Nabi's speech was not only advices but also political-based. Fir’aun was angry when he heard this. Therefore,
28:38. Fir’aun said, “I do not know anyone in this country who can exercise authority except me. So, O Haman! You build a brick kiln and build a tall tower out of bricks. I must go up to it and see Rabbu of Moosa. And I have no doubt that whatever he says is a lie.”
28:39. Thus, Fir’aun and his council of ministers remained firm in their unrighteous deeds, despite the advice of Reformist Moosa Nabi. They did not care that their evil deeds were having consequences according to the laws of Rabbu. So, they thought that they would not be harmed, as Moosa Nabi had said.
28:40. So he and his armies chased Moosa Nabi, he fell into a deep river and died, falling into the clutches of the law of the consequences of human deeds, which Rabbu had established. (See 7:136) Imagine for a second how their end was so horrific.
28:41. And they afflicted the people with many unjust acts. They were the leaders who took them all to the side of the torments of hell. So, no one helped them at the time when the consequences of their actions appeared.
28:42. Not only that, but all his community lost the blessings of Rabbu in due course and suffered many afflictions. Eventually, they all became despised. And they will be at a great loss on the Day of Resurrection, which continues after death.
If you look at human history, you will find that there are many such extinct societies. Thus, His guidance was given so that the human race would not perish. Reformist Moosa Nabi also comes in that order.
28:43. Reformist Moosa Nabi was given guidance. Many generations before him have faced destruction. Those guidelines were wise counsel, guidance, and means of safe living so that none of the people could perish.
28:44. O, Reformist! All these facts are revealed to you under the program of revelation. For, you were not on the western side of Mount Thoor, when the command was given to Moosa Nabi. You never saw that show.
28:45. And after Moosa Nabi, came many generations. Thus, many centuries have passed. Moreover, you did not live among the inhabitants of Madhyan. You did not guide them. These are revealed to you by the program of “revelation” of guidance.
28:46. Besides, you were not there when Rabbu called Moosa Nabi to come over the side of Mount Thoor. You have received these guidelines by the grace of Rabbu to explain to the communities that have not yet received His guidance. (See also 32:3 & 36: 6) This Scripture is given as a precautionary measure against the consequences of their wrongdoing. This is the way to become enlightened and to live a better life. Is not this the great blessing of your Rabbu?
28:47. When the evil consequences of their evil deeds occur, they may complain, “O, Our Rabbu! Shouldn't You have sent us a messenger? Had You sent so, we would have acted in the way he shows! May we too be obedient to Your guidance. We need not face all these tragedies!” Rabbu's guidance is given to prevent such a situation from occurring. (See 6: 156-157)
28:48. O, Reformist! Guidelines are given to you for this purpose. These are to show the most perfect way to the better life of man. Instead of exploring and accepting this guidance wholeheartedly, they ask, “Why are we not destroyed for refusing the Quran, just as Fir’aun was destroyed for disobeying the guidance of Reformist Moosa? Tell them, “Did not those who remained after their destruction ignore the guidance brought by Reformist Moosa Nabi?” Did they not say that Moosa Nabi and Haroon were deceivers who supported each other? Thus, they are the ones who have completely refused to accept the guidance of Rabbu!
28:49. Tell them, “If you have a better Scripture than the Torah given to Moosa Nabi (see 6: 154) and this Quran (see 6:155), bring it. Let us follow the same.”
28:50. If there is no answer from them, know that they want to follow their desires. They can never come up with such a great guide. (See 2:23 & 24) So, who could be more misguided than the one who abandons His guidance and follows his lust? Thus, those who follow their mental inclinations will not give due importance to His guidance. Such people will never get the chance to be guided.
28:51. Thus, We have been guiding them through the Reformists from time to time. Thus, they were arranged by our side to receive the Scriptural instruction and to function better.
28:52. We bless this Quran on the same basis. It refers to the true teachings of the earlier Scriptures, which are accepted by those who think about them.
28:53. And when the verses of the Quran are recited to them, they say, “We accept them.” We accept without any doubt that these are Scriptural truths that came from our Rabbu. We are already in complete obedience to this His guidance.”
28:54. Thus, they get double the benefits as they act consistently by following guidance. And they prevent evils by doing good deeds. They also spend the surplus wealth they have on community development.
28:55. And when they see the vain talk, they turn away from it. Even if they hear such talks, they will keep themselves away. They will say, “You will reap the rewards of your actions. We care about your well-being. You engage in such inappropriate acts without knowing the truth. We're just getting away with it.”
But such good deeds do not seem to exist among those who follow previous Books (see 2:41). It seems that they are immersed in wrongdoing. That is why they do not come forward to live according to the instructions given by this Quran. How can such people be brought to the right path?
28:56. O, Reformist! It is your job to disclose the reality of guidance. You cannot bring everyone you want to the right path. You cannot force them (see 10:99) It is Allah's will that those who seek guidance will find guidance. (See: 10:108 & 18: 29) Allah knows best who are guided.
The Quraysh, who lived during the time of Muhammad Nabi, also refused to accept His guidance. Notice what the reason is for their denial.
28:57. They said, “If we follow the guidance of this Quran with you, we will lose the support of these people.” And they will drive us out of the country.” Ask them, “Did not Rabbu arrange for you to live safely in the Kaaba, the House of Common? Aren't all kinds of minerals and foods available to you at your place of residence? Would you not arrange for your safe life, if you follow the guidance of Allah who can do so much?” Most people are not aware of this fact.
28:58. Moreover, many societies that lived in prosperity faced destruction by their misdeeds according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Rabbu. Go and see the place where they lived. Most do not live there now except for a few of them. No man used those places after their destruction. So, they have become a place where no one uses them.
28:59. Know one more thing. That is, Rabbu does not blindly destroy anyone for no reason. He sends reformists to guide them and give them the opportunity to repent. It is the societies that ignore them and engage in unjust acts that are “Harmful Consequences” (6: 131)
Dear Intellectuals! The Reformistic series is over. The reformists will no longer come. So do not think that Allah will not punish us. The Qur’an has been blessed and submitted all over the world. The main duty of the scholars is to read, study, guide, and help people. (see 3: 104,110) It is the duty of every human being to know and follow them. Remember! Ignorance is not the way to escape punishment. (6: 156-157, 17:15)
28:60. And all the livelihoods are the necessities of your life and the things that adorn them. But when you follow Rabbu's guidance, you will get many better living facilities than this. And human life does not end with death. It continues after that. Rabbu's guidance leads to his better life of present worldly life as well as to the lasting pleasures that follow after death. If you think about it, you will have no difficulty understanding the truth.
28:61. Now the truth has become clear. A society that lives according to His guidance, receives the promised present happiness and the future lasting happiness. Another society receives only present-day pleasures. When these two communities are brought before Rabbu to give rewards, will these two be treated equally?
28:62. Those who come and stand there as criminals will be asked, “Where are the priests who misled you? Where are the imaginary deities who were created equating Allah?”
28:63. The punished clergy of Allah will say, “O, Our Rabbu! These are the ones who have gone astray by us. The reason for this was that we ourselves were misguided. They came to us on their own accord and worshiped imaginary deities. They do not worship us. So, we are not responsible for this misconduct.”
28:64. Those who went astray will say, “Call the leaders and the clergy who led us astray.” But they cannot answer them. Because they themselves will be the ones who deserve the torment of hell. So, would they face such a situation if they had followed Rabbu's guidance?
28:65. And they will be asked, “What was your response when the reformists invited you towards the right path?”
28:66. At the time when they face the consequences of their evil deeds, everything will become clear for them. This condition is not unique to one person. The condition of all of them will be pathetic. So, no one can talk about anything.
28:67. But this does not happen to those who repent and willingly accept the guidance of Allah, abandoning their wrongdoings and doing creative good deeds. They will have a huge success.
Dear Intellectuals! Still, the time has not yet passed. Do not miss the rare opportunity you have in your life. Let go of wrongdoing and come to the side of Rabbu's guidance. You are assured of a huge success.
28:68. Because these are matters concerning the plans of Rabbu. Everything is created according to those plans. Laws have also been enacted to achieve the goal of success beyond developmental levels. They are announced through this Qur’an. That success can only be achieved by following these, not by man-made means. All of Rabbu's plans are beyond human imagination.
28:69. Nothing can be hidden as far as Allah is concerned. Whether they are the thoughts that arise in your mind or your obvious activities. Everything is equal to Allah.
28:70. Allah is the Owner of such greatness. In all the universe, there is no power other than Allah. All His Schemes from the beginning to the end deserve praise and admiration. Therefore, one must rule the world according to His plans. You must all come according to His plans for the safe and happy life of the people of the world. Man has no other choice but to follow His guidance.
Today's practical world bears witness to the greatness of Allah. Have you noticed if anyone else has the power to make it work? Take, for example, the day and night that alternates in this world.
28:71. Tell them, “Have you ever noticed what your situation would be if you were made to live only at night forever? If so, who can bring the light of day other than Allah? Do you listen carefully to what We say? Let me make this clear to the people.”
28:72. On the contrary, can you live in peace, if We make the day last forever? As you take a rest every night, who can bring that nigh except Allah? Have you ever thought about this?
So, no creature in the world can survive, without changes of night or day. Allah created the night to alleviate the heat of the day and the heat of the sun to reduce the humidity of the night. Not only that, but all the food in the world needs sunlight heat and humidity at night. How can there be food for all living beings if Allah does not make such arrangements?
28:73. So the alternating night and day in this world is the greatest blessing of Allah. With this, man can rest in peace at night, be revived the next day, and work harder to seek the grace of Allah. All these arrangements were made so that man should act in obedience to the guidance of Allah and faithfulness.
That is, the livelihoods of man should be shared equally in the way shown by Allah, and people from all walks of life should be made to live better. But man neglects His guidance and lives according to his own will, creating imaginary deities equating Him. So, in the end, he faces the consequences of his wrong deeds.
28:74. They will be asked “Where are those gods whom you worshiped? Didn't they come to help you?”
28:75. We will call every community leader who has acted like this with arrogance and ask them to bring evidence to support their claim. But they can bring nothing. Then they will know what is true. They will realize that the statement of Allah is true and that everything they have fabricated so far was in vain.
Find out what is the status of those who have lived selfishly with the sole aim of amassing wealth. The history of Quaroon, who lived during the time of Reformist Moosa Nabi, is cited as an example.
28:76. The truth is that Quaroon belonged to the community of Moosa Nabi. He had
accumulated innumerable riches. And he used his wealth to oppress the people of the community. He kept his treasury guarded by strong guards. People who did not tolerate his iniquities advised him, “Do not act arrogantly on his riches.” They also pointed out that Allah never loves those who live arrogantly.
28:77. “Gaining property wealth is not a wrong act. But that should not be the goal of life itself. Because man's life does not end with this worldly life. It continues even after death. So, consider the future life and make the life of the poor people better by removing their weaknesses as well as how
Allah has given you the undiminished beautiful life. Because all the wealth you have is not created by yourself. Do not forget that you would not have had these privileges without the provisions of Rabbu. Allah never loves those who amass immense wealth and create inequality in society.”
28:78. But he said that all those riches were earned by his own knowledge and talent. So, he did not come forward to help the poor. He failed to notice how many generations before him who had lived richer than him had perished. They perished as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah due to the deterioration of social harmony. People think that Rabbu does not care about the sinful deeds of such criminals. But they do not know that their sinful deeds will lead them to destruction.
28:79. Thus, some people advised Qaroon. But he lived proudly and luxuriously on the float of wealth. Those who wanted a luxurious life, there were proud of the wealth of the Qaroon. Some were nostalgic that they should have had the same wealth as Qaroon. Of course, some people came to praise him saying that Qaroon was very blessed.
28:80. But those who were enlightened in guidance saw the riches of Qaroon and warned him. They said that those who live in pride and luxury will be harmed. They said, “The future lives of those who accept the advice of Allah and spend on creative welfare schemes will be many times better than this. However, the future life will be better for those who persevere in the way of Rabbu and work tirelessly.”
28:81. By the time the consequences of the wrongdoings of Qaroon finally appeared, he and his wealth were destroyed and buried in the dust. No one was able to save him from that destruction that was caused as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah. Not only that, but he could not save himself from that destruction.
Dear Intellectuals! In this verse, it is said that Allah buried him and his riches in the earth. To this day, we see the ruins of the mansions of many of the kings who lived with wealth and pride in our country. None of this happens in an instant. In a capitalist-minded society, the common poor will be greatly affected. At some point when their leaders are in danger, people will not come forward to save them. Let go of that extinction. This is how we find out that his mansions would have been destroyed to the level of dust. But no one could save him from that destruction.
28:82. Those who, until yesteryear had spoken proudly of the riches of Qaroon, were overwhelmed with amazement at the calamity that had befallen him. They realized how wrong they were in speaking in support of him. The reason is that the livelihoods and material wealth available to each person are in accordance with the pre-arrangements of Rabbu and procured according to his labor and skill. Accordingly, living facilities increase or shrink.
So, these facilities will be available in consonance with his skill and efforts. We would not have got anything without these great provisions of Allah. So, if we do not use those resources in the way that Allah has shown us, the same will happen to us as happened to Qaroon. People used to say that those who do not accept the guidance of Allah will never succeed in their goal.
28:83. Therefore, if one wants to have a better life in the present and the future stable life, he should not want to live in luxury with the wealth he has got and create inequality in the country. Otherwise, the future of society will be in jeopardy. Only those who live with this in mind can live better.
28:84. So whatever society creates a beautiful social system with creative good deeds, its benefits will be multiplied many times more. On the contrary, any society that engages in evil deeds and causes inequality will drag them to the brink of destruction.
These laws are not what they are today. That is what has been going on since ancient times. Those standard rules and laws are proclaimed in the Qur’an and urge us to abide by them.
28:85. O, Reformist! Your ambitions will surely be fulfilled according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Rabbu which has prescribed the duties in this Quran. That is, you will conquer the city of Makkah as you see fit and free it from the clutches of the anarchists. Then who is on the right path? The fact of who is on the wrong track becomes clear.
That is, the tyrannical king Fir’aun, who lived in the time of Reformist Moosa Nabi, and his clergyman Haman, people like the wealthy Qaroon, persecuted the Israelites. So, they left the country. In the same way, in the time of Muhammad Nabi, anarchists, Abu Lahab, Abu Jahal who lived among the Quraysh, persuaded the Reformist to leave Makkah (see 8:30). It is said in this passage that the ideal will surely be fulfilled.
28:86. O, Reformist! You will surely succeed in your goal. Have you ever anticipated that these great blessings of Rabbu, the guidelines would be available? Did you know in advance that such guidance will be available to you direct from Us? Not at all! You got all of this though. Likewise, the goal of your life will surely come true. Do not worry about those who refuse to accept Our guidance, but overcome them and do your best to fulfill your plans.
28:87. Only then, the rule of Rabbu can be established. So once these instructions of Rabbu come, do not act in favor of those who reject Rabbu. Because they are just trying to distract you. (See 17: 73-75) And they want to rule with you. Some of them seek to make laws according to His guidance and others according to their desires. But if you want to rule according to Rabbu's guidance, ask him to come with you. By associating with them and doing so, you will also become one of the deviators of the guidance of Allah.
28:88. So do not associate anything with the guidance of Allah. There is no command in this universe other than Allah. No law that man can create on his own without Him can be stable in this world. He may have to keep changing them. But the laws that are made according to the guidance of Allah are stable. Even if you neglect them and make your own rules of law, you must come to the law proposed by Allah for the betterment of man one day or the other. So, the rule that is formed by the guidance of Allah is permanent (see 12:40).
