ط Crystal Clear - ه - Guidelines through Mohammed Sal
20:1. This is the Book that is revealed through Mohammed and is completely on the right path with crystal clear guidance.
20:2. We did not reveal to you this Qur’an to inflict suffering on you.
That is, when creating a social system based on the Qur’an, one will have to face many difficulties in the beginning. But eventually, get a much happier safe life thereafter. Therefore
20:3. The Qur'an is revealed so that those who strictly follow it, will receive enlightenment and live a prosperous life. (See 17: 9)
20:4. These are the guidelines revealed by Allah, Who created the earth and the vast universes.
20:5. It is under His centralized system of Supreme Power, that all of them were created and made to function intact.
20:6. Therefore, whatever in the universe, in the earth, what all between these two or in the depths of the earth, are functioning to fulfill the plans of Allah.
Man is also a member of this universe. When all creation operates within the limits set by Allah, does it not true that every action of man is result-oriented according to the rules He has ordained? Therefore
20:7. It does not make any difference to Allah whether anyone speaks openly or in secret about any matter. Allah is fully aware of it all.
20:8. The truth is that Allah is Rabbu, the administrative system of the universe. The activities of all the universes are the reflections of the Perfect Attributes of Allah.
If those beautiful virtues of Allah are reflected in the people of the society, then it will be the most honored society in the world. But to achieve that goal one has to come across many impediments and tribulations in the early days. (See 2:214) Such a situation existed in the case of all the Reformists. In that order
20:9. Did you get the life history of Reformist Moosa Nabi?
He grew up in the palace of a king named Fira’un (28:9) and received an excellent education, wisdom (28:14), and reached adolescence. In those days, the kings would go to the city in disguise during nights to know about the situation of the country. Similarly, Moosa Nabi used to visit the city at night. Once, when he found the fighting between two, he intervened and struck one of them. The man died on the spot. (28:15)
Following that, Moosa fled to the land of Madhyan for fear of being arrested (28:22). There, he found two girls trapped in the injustice and solved it (28:25). Seeing this, the daughters of the leader, took him to work and hired him. (28:27) He married one of the girls.
Observing his sense of urgency, the leader Shu'ayb sent him to an aged adviser who had received His wisdom to teach him the best lessons. (18: 71-82) Thus, he went through many stages of his life and lived with his wife and people. (See 20:40)
20:10. One day, when he traveled along with his family, darkness enveloped him. When he saw the light in the distance, he left his family there and went towards the light. He informed his family members that he could make a fire or find out the way ahead.
20:11. So when he came near the fire, he heard a voice, “O, Moosa!”
20:12. And the Voice further continued, “I am your Rabbu Who created you and cares for you. So far, you have reached the pinnacle of academic wisdom (Valley of Thuwa) within the bounds of human potential. Beyond that, there are Our guidance that are invisible to human knowledge. You need not wander anywhere looking for that. That right path will come towards you.”
20:13. “Because you are qualified to be My ‘Messenger’. Therefore, carefully listen to the guidance revealed to you and act accordingly.”
20:14. Further the voice said, “Surely, I am Allah, your Rabbu. I am the Administrator of the universe and everything on the earth. So, you should follow only My advice. Also, establish “collective Preaching systems” to teach My guidance to the people.
20:15. “If you take efforts for this, there will be a huge uprising in your society. In such a period of time, everyone will get the benefits according to his efforts. But these hidden facts are not in the knowledge of common man.”
That is to say, in the present social system, one is working hard and another reaps the benefit. We need to change this situation, make livelihood available to all and create social harmony. I have chosen you as an ambassador to carry out this action plan.
20:16. “So, you have to admit only those who willingly accept the programs that I have set out and come forward to act. If you keep those who do not accept this with you, they will hinder the implementation of this project. Then your plan of action will face setback.”
References to such guidance came to Moosa Nabi from Allah. He explored them well and learned. He taught the specialties of guidance to the family and others around him. Those guidelines were to show the best path to the prosperous life of man. Then one day Allah said to Moosa Nabi,
20:17. “O Moosa! What is the status of this guidance that you have?” He asked.
20:18. Moosa said, “This is my sole support. I will act on its basis. I will bring awareness to my community (see 20:47) who live in slavery as flocks and lead them to a prosperous life. Not only that, this guidance tends to solve to all the problems of life” (see 7: 145).
20:19. And Allah said, “Yes. You have understood correctly. So, continue to submit these to the people.” (See 14:5, 25:36, 26:10)
Accordingly, he began to teach them to the people. But the people did not understand the true nature of this. So widespread protests grew on all sides. So,
20:20. Explaining His guidance to people and making them accept it, seemed to be a Himalayan task for him.
20:21. Allah said to him, “Do not be afraid of this opposition. Act firmly under My guidance. Over time, that will change. They will accept Our guidance as you wish.”
20:22. “Always keep in mind the guidance of Rabbu and present it to the people with clear evidence. They will shine as impeccable advice for their luminous lives over time. Is this not one of Our great pieces of evidence?” (See 27:12, 28:32)
That is how he preached to the people step by step. (See 25:35-36) There were two factions, the Fira’uns, and the Israelites. The Israelites had been living as servitude under the Fira’uns. Through His guidance, the Israelites came to understand gradually the misdeeds of the people of the land.
20:23. “These instructions are given to you to cause a great uprising among the people.”
20:24. After that, in the second stage, the command of Rabbu came to Moosa Nabi to go to King Fira’un and submit him His guidance. Because misdeeds and lawlessness were rampant in his reign. (see 28: 4).
It was not an ordinary task for him to submit His guidance to Fira’un. Mental strength and courage were essential for this.
20:25. So, he prayed to Allah to give him mental strength and courage.
20:26. And he prayed to Rabbu to make this project easier.
20:27. Further, he prayed to Allah to make his speech better.
20:28. Only then can the guidance be easily explained to the king.
20:29. He also prayed to Allah to provide him with a helper from his family to help him.
20:30. “My brother Haroon is well qualified for this task. So, I ask You to permit me to take him as my companion as well.”
20:31. He said, “If I take him with me, it will be very helpful to accomplish my things.”
20:32. So, he prayed to Allah to send him also to participate in his cause.
20:33. This will make it easier for us to convey Your advice to the king and his counsels as far as possible.
20:34. And that we may help one another, to remember Your commandments from time to time.
20:35. And he prayed, “Surely, You know our thoughts and our plans.”
20:36. The answer came from Allah that He would give him everything he asked.
20:37. “Even before this, when you were a child, We helped you. We will continue to help you in everything you do.”
20:38. When you were a child, your mother had some trouble raising you. Then We sent her a message concerning Our Plan which We had made (see also 28:7)
20:39. We sent a message to your mother to put you in an ark and leave you in the river. The ark floated in the river and reached a particular shore. The king of Fira’un, who was against Us and also an enemy to your community, adopted you. Thus, We made all the arrangements for you to grow better under Our supervision.
20:40. Your sister walked side by side along with the ark and saw where you were going (see 28:11). So, she obtained permission from the king for nourishing you and redeemed you to your mother.
Thus, your mother became very happy to look at your back. And the grief of your mother came to an end.
Then when you reached adolescence, you went to settle a dispute between the two and killed a man unexpectedly. (See 28:15) Following that, We sent you to the Madhyan and relieved you from worries. There you went through many embarrassing situations.
That is how you happened to be in the Madhyan for many years. Thus, you have passed through many stages of your life and after many trainings, you got fully matured and qualified to get Our revelations.
20:41. Only then did you come under Our selection to get Our revelations.
Dear Intellectuals! Did you notice how many stages one has to pass to become Nabi? After that only he is given His guidance and commanded to carry out the task of correcting the people. Similarly, we find that the degree of ‘Nabi’ was given to all the Reformists only after giving them such special training.
The sayings that Reformist Moosa Nabi unexpectedly received prophecy when he went to get the fire is false. It is also a misconception that Reformist Easa received the scripture when he was a baby in the cradle. (See 19: 28-30)
20:42. The commandment came, “Go to King Fira’un along with your brother and explain to him Our guidance. Do not hesitate to share My advice with them.”
20:43. “Go to Fira’un, both of you, to correct him, for he is indulged in wrong activities.”
20:44. You both go to him and explain Our guidance in gentle words, so that he may receive good advice. Or he may fear the consequences of his wrong policies.
20:45. To which they both replied, “O our Rabbu! We are afraid that he will take drastic action against us or that he may harass us.”
20:46. To which He replied, “You two need not fear about it. Of course, I am the Hearer and the Observer of everything. So, you will surely get My help.”
20:47. So both of them went to Fira’un and said, “We have come as Messengers. We have come to explain to you substantiated guidance from Allah. Allah assures us that any society which follows His guidance will develop into a society of peace and tranquility. So, you have to rule as per His advices. And do not persecute the Israelites. If you do not want to change the policies of your regime, release the Israelites and send them with us.”
20:48. They said, “The Message that has come to us also states that any society that refuses to accept His guidance and goes astray, will perish and face many torments.”
20:49. And when Fira’un heard all these things, he said to Moosa Nabi, “Who is your Rabbu?”
20:50. Moosa Nabi said, “There is no separate Rabbu for us. He is Allah, Who created each and everything in the world and framed rules for all of them.
Fira’un became speechless when he heard this. With his response, he could not take any action against the Moosa Nabi. So, he changed the direction of his argument. He was accompanied by ministers and other officials in the council. They were all against the guidance of Allah. Their ancestors lived the same way. He inquired about the condition of their ancestors, thinking that they should incite enmity against him.
20:51. Fira’un asked, “Then what is the condition of our previous generations?”
20:52. Moosa Nabi replied, “My Rabbu is well aware of their condition. The record of everyone’s deeds is intact. So, my Rabbu never fails to render justice accordingly and never forgets.”
20:53. Further, he explained to the council of ministers, “Know the Supremacy of Allah about whom I speak. It is Allah Who created the earth and made you live happily in it, set it up like a rug, and made arrangements for all livelihood. It is Allah Who has set the paths for you to travel easily. And it is as per His framed laws that rainfall occurs. With it, various plants and vines are grown in pairs.
20:54. Further, he said, “So with it, you and your live stocks get foods of all kinds and varieties. And there are signs in this for the people who apply their mind.”
20:55. Further, he said, “Not only that, but Rabbu created all of you in this earth. When your life is over, you go back into the soil and get along. Then you will be resurrected according to the commandment of Allah and will be asked how you acted.”
20:56. Thus Allah, through the Reformist, guided Fira’un with all evidences. But Fira’un refused it saying that they were all nonsense. He refused to accept them out of arrogance. (See 26:34)
20:57. But he said to Moosa Nabi, “Have you come to us with your charming speech and false religion, to drive us out of this country?” Thus, he began to ask questions from many angles.
20:58. He said, “Then we will summon our expert clergy like this and give you fitting reply. So, fix a day to hold this contest. Let us make a deal that could not be changed by either of us. So, tell me a day when all the people will come well dressed.” (See 26: 36-40)
20:59. The Reformist Moosa Nabi said that the festival day would be suitable for this debate. The timing was also fixed. (7: 115)
20:60. Accordingly, Fira’un also passed an edict to summon the most eloquent clergy in the country (see 7: 111). So, they came on the day. Gathering them all together, Fira’un also came to the place of debate.
20:61. Before commencement of the debate, Reformist Moosa Nabi met the clergy and said, “Do not fabricate falsehoods about Allah. Keep in mind that those who do so will be harmed. And you will be subjected to many torments as per the ordinance of Allah. Any society with false myths about Rabbu has been doomed,” he warned.
20:62. Following that, the clergies met and discussed among themselves how their action plans should be. Only then were they ready for the debate.
20:63. Then the clergy said to the multitudes, “Surely these two persons are trying to deceive you all with their eloquent speech. With such talk, they want to drive you out of our country and out of your religion.”
20:64. Then the clergymen who came to the debate consulted with each other and said, “Set aside the enmity among us on this day. Let us all stand united and be ready to defeat those who are enemies of all of us. Whoever has the upper hand in today's argument is the winner.”
20:65. Then they said to Moosa Nabi, “Do you start the argument first or shall we start first?”
20:66. To which he replied, “Not so. You make your case first.” Following that, they submitted one by one the religious matters in their possession. They spoke as if there were truth in them by their eloquence. It seemed to the Reformist Moosa Nabi too that the people are attracted by their eloquence as well.
20:67. So there was a little fear in the mind of Reformist Moosa Nabi. (See 7: 116)
20:68. Then We said, “O Moosa! Do not be afraid of them. Surely, the facts of guidance you submit will prevail.”
20:69. “So, submit to them the truths that are in your possession. Break all the religious beliefs they have submitted and you will come out on top. Because everything they pointed out was just their speculation. Explain Our guidance in clear-cut terms. They will never be able to defeat you.” (See also 7: 117-118).
In the same way, the guidance of Allah was presented to them as evidence, and the whims and fancies of their religious teachings were tarnished. Reformist Moosa Nabi succeeded in articulating the guidance truths.
20:70. All the clergy who heard the facts of guidance bowed before the Reformist Moosa Nabi and openly declared their acceptance of His guidance. They declared that they too will accept the guidance of Rabbu of Haroon and Moosa.
20:71. Fira’un, who noticed this, got angry. He said, “Did you all accept His guidance without my permission?” Of course, I think he is a master in mesmerizing speeches. If you do not come my way, I will let you hang on to the tree chopping of your alternate hand and leg. Thus, you will know whether it is me or Rabbu of Moosa who is strict in giving the order.”
20:72. To which the clergy replied, “We have nothing to take for granted other than the clear proofs from Allah, Who created us and the only Creator.” So, do whatever you decide to do. Know that your judgment is all temporary.”
We learned through Reformist Moosa Nabi that such of your commands would not be valid in the future.
20:73. And they said to Fira’un, “We have accepted the clear guidance from our Rabbu. We seek refuge in Him for relief from the evil effects of the false religious propaganda that we have so far preached. We learned from Reformist Moosa Nabi that the guidance of Allah and His plans are far superior.”
20:74. And they said to Fira’un: “Surely, hell awaits him who is guilty before Rabbu. We knew through Moosa Nabi that such culprit would neither die nor live.”
20:75. And they said, “Those people in the community, who accept the guidance of Rabbu and devise creative social welfare schemes and work for it, they will surely rise and be honored.”
20:76. Further the clergy said, “As long as they do so, they will have a happy and secure heavenly life. There will be a society with generous economic facilities according to their efforts and hard work. We know from Reformist Moosa Nabi that these are the rewards for those who act with generous and pure intentions.” They explained this to Fira’un, regardless of the sentence he pronounced.
Dear Intellectuals! Did you notice how Reformist Moosa Nabi explained to those clergy all the truths of guidance in detail and made them accept Allah? Can anyone explain these facts by throwing down a stick and making it a big snake? Just imagine how the clergy asked for rewards from Fira’un before this contest? (See 7: 113-114) Now think about their unshakable faith in Allah after this debate? That is something to think about clearly!!
Reformist Moosa Nabi then taught the moral values to be observed by the people. He also provided defensive training and arranged for them to become better service men (see 7:128). (See 7:130-135) Later on, the command came from Him to leave Egypt and go to Palestine. As the Nile River comes across the path they take, they erected a bridge across it. (See explanation 7:136)
20:77. In this regard, the Reformist Moosa Nabi received a message from Allah. It said, “Take the activists who accept My guidance and build a bridge across the river on the way. There is no need to fear or be afraid that Fira’un will catch you.”
Accordingly, they secretly constructed a bridge to cross the river. They then traveled overnight on a fixed time. (See explanation 7: 136)
20:78. Knowing this, Fira’un followed along with his forces the next morning (see 26:60) but he and his forces fell into the deep river and drowned.
20:79. Fira’un, who was in power, misled his people and did not guide them. So, he had this fate.
20:80. O Israelites! Thus, We have saved you from your tyrant king and made arrangements through the Reformist Moosa to settle at the valley of the mountain called “Thur”. We vowed through him that your future life there will be better. For that, we have made all kinds of livelihood generously available to you.
20:81. And We said, “Eat whatever hygienic food items that are available. But you should never transgress your limits. If you do, you will suffer according to the Law of “consequences of human actions.” Remember that the society which is to be doomed to destruction, will certainly rush to the brink of collapse and suffer a lot.”
20:82. “On the contrary, those communities who renounce wrongdoing and follow the guidance of Allah and do good deeds will find better living conditions. And they will surely have a safe life.”
Thus, Reformist Moosa Nabi gave good advice and special training to them. He made arrangements for everyone to live united. He was commanded by Allah to come to the other side of Mount Thoor to guide him further. Following that, he had to be separated from his community for 40 days.
20:83. Similarly, when the Reformist Moosa Nabi came to the foot of Mount Sinai, He said, “O Moosa! What made you to rush here leaving your community?”
20:84. Moosa Nabi said, "Ya Allah! All my community members are following my advice. And I accepted your invitation and hurried to You to get further guidance, if any, from You.”
That is, he said that he rushed to Him because he thought there would be no great harm in being separated from his community for a few days.
20:85. “After you came here, a disaster has befallen your community. The Samaritan has led them astray.”
20:86. So Moosa Nabi, having completed forty days's programme, returned to his people in anger. Looking at them, “What the hell is this game? Did Allah's promise to give you a beautiful life come true or not? Was there any lag in it? Or did you disbelieve Allah’s guidance and make these acts of worship? Have you forgotten that by doing so, you will incur the wrath of Allah? What happened to the promise you made to me that we would live in obedience to Rabbu alone?” He asked.
20:87. They said, "We did not change our promise to you. The ornaments we wore were adorned to suit urban life. But now we live in this region. Because they were unnecessary burdens, we all took them off. The priest told us to melt it in the fire and make a toy, and he too took off his jewelry and gave it to us.”
20:88. “The priest who melted them in the fire made a toy like a calf. It was like a cow screaming when the toy was blown. Some of us felt it as our deity. We began to worship it, thinking that Moosa Nabi’s Rabbu too should be the same. But the Samaritan was not worried about what Moosa Nabi will do when he returns.”
20:89. Reformist Moosa said, “It is true that it raises the sound of a cow. But other than that, can it do anything else? Not only that but it is powerless to do any good or harm to you. Don't you think?”
20:90. The Reformist Haroon who was with them also tried to correct them before the
returning of Moosa Nabi. He said, “O my people! This will only cause you a lot of confusion. Verily it is Rabbu Who created and sustains you. So, follow the path He showed. Do not engage in such activity in vain. Listen to what I say.”
20:91. They said, “We do not want to give up this form of worship. Let Moosa Nabi come back. Then, we will take care of it.”
20:92. Unaware of this, Moosa Nabi rebuked his brother Haroon very much. He said, “O Haroon! When you saw them going astray, why didn’t you prevent them from it?”
93. And he said, “Did you not follow the advice I have given you? Why did you disobey my order?”
20:94. And Haroon said, “O Pet son of my mother! Don’t drag me into the fuss over this matter. I advised them many times. But they never cared. If I had intensified, there would have been a division among the Israelites. Then you may ask as to why I made a division between them? I thought you will set right this when you come back.”
Upon hearing this, Reformist Moosa Nabi was relieved. Did you notice? A reformist tolerates idolatry. But does not allow to cause division among the community. But what is the situation today? When someone comes up with a new policy, they immediately create a division and give it a unique name. Look at the text of 6:159 to see how sinful this is.
20:95. Then Moosa Nabi turned to the Samaritan and said, “What is the matter with you, Samiree?”
20:96. Samiree said, “I found in your community a strict way of life that I have not seen anywhere. I also guessed that acting in the background was His guidance. I joined this crowd as if I followed suit. Looking for an opportunity of the absence of the leader, I made my way to idolatry. Your people accepted it. I was very happy to do that.”
20:97. To which Reformist Moosa Nabi said, “All right. You have no longer any right to work here. Get out of here. Whomever you meet, you will lament telling them not to become like you. To that extent, bad afflictions will come upon you according to the ordinance of Allah. You can never escape from it.
As you were worshiping, look at what was going to happen to “that idol” I will burn it to ashes and throw it in the river.”
20:98. Then he said to his people, “You are bound only by the guidance of Allah, the One and the Only Creator of the universe.” He created everything in this world and has full knowledge of how everyone works. You must never forget this.”
20:99. O, Reformist! These are also historical facts that have been passed on. From this, We reveal systematic reminders about Our Laws. We have given this to you to
learn lessons from this.
(1) We learn many lessons from the historical facts of the Reformist Moosa Nabi. That is, the Reformist gets well trained in many ways before he gets the status of Nabi. (20:40-41) It is very important. That is, only those who are well qualified to give proper guidance should be appointed as teachers of the Holy Quran.
(2) He must then have a better understanding of the true nature of the revelation and its purpose. (20: 17-18) After that he should explain to the people step by step.
(3) It is not a simple matter to correct society by mere words. For this, you have to work day and night. (20: 20-22)
(4) The next step is to mobilize popular support and try to correct the rulers. This is also a difficult thing. For this, they may have to argue with the clergy and win them over.
(5) Do not think that such an event happened only to Reformist Moosa Nabi. This is what happened in the case of almost all the Reformists. (See Chapters 7, 11 &. 26) Finally, Muhammad Nabisal also took the initiative to correct the people of the world, in which he also won. After him, this responsibility was entrusted to the followers. (See 3:81, 4:144)
(6) Just because people have gathered in large numbers, it does not mean that they have all accepted the guidance. The impact of the rituals rooted in them will not go away easily. There is a chance that they will go back to the old level, even if there is a little negligence. (20: 83-90)
(7) They will be like the Samaritans when it comes to correcting and guiding people. So be very careful and weed out such people.
(8) After assembling the people towards the guidance, care should be taken not to cause division among them. (See 20:94) These are all lessons we can learn from the above events.
20:100. Those who disregard the guidance of Allah and act against it will bear the torment at a time when the consequences of their wrongdoing will appear.
20:101. They will have to bear these pains for a long time. This burden can be even worse in life after death.
That is, the consequences of their actions will appear in this world as well. They occur in the form of civil strife, conflict, war. These conflicts will also occur during the formation of the Islamic regime.
20:102. Then, on the day when the warning trumpet is raised to meet in the battlefield, the eyes of the guilty will be darkened. That much scares them. (See also 20: 124)
20:103. Now they say to themselves, “We wish we could all live like this forever!” But after ten days they will speak with regret that the situation has turned upside down.
20:104. We know what they will say in their panic. Those of you who are on the right path says that the time you lived was very short.
20:105. They ask in fear what will be the condition of those who amass wealth and power like the great mountains. Tell them that Allah will bring them all to a ground level.
20:106. After that inequalities will be eliminated and a just government will be established.
20:107. Then you will not find inequality or hatred of difference of rich and poor anywhere.
20:108. Then, all will be invited to establish such an equitable social system and regime. People from all walks of life will follow them. You will not see any disparity in it. Then, hue and cry against the guidance of the Benevolent will come to a halt. They will all disappear.
20:109. At such times, no one will be benefited from any recommendation from anyone (Ref: 2:123) excepting those who are recognized by the Rabbu, the Benevolent.
These are judicial matters that take place during Islamic rule. Those who are compatible with Ar Rahman, the Benevolent are those who have the title of “legal experts” as prescribed by Ar Rahman. They will only argue in their favor if the accused are innocent. There will be no need for such legal experts on the Day of Judgment. Because Allah is the Knower of all things.
20:110. The legal expert can know what is in front of them and he can know what is behind them by thorough examinations.
So only those legal experts can keep track of the events that took place before and after the crime and find out what really happened. But the judges will not know the background happenings with their own knowledge.
20:111. Therefore, whoever commits an illegal act, will lose his high status and be declared ‘guilty’. All will bow down before the laws of Allah which will thus function.
20:112. On the contrary, the followers of guidance who do good deeds for the betterment of society will never fear that injustice will be done to them or that their hard work will not be rewarded.
That is, the criminals escape under the current regime. Innocents are punished. But those who engage in unjust acts during the period of Qur’anic rule will surely be punished. Those who do good will get due benefits.
20:113. Thus, We have revealed the Qur’an clearly in the language which you speak. We do this to warn about the adverse consequences of acting against Our guidance and to live better with Our best advices. We have included several warning messages in it so that you can remember them forever.
20:114. Thus, if the guidance of Allah is put forward and acted upon, a superior society and government will be formed. Because the Regime of Allah, which operates in all the universes, can alone be the Supreme Rule. So, “O Reformist! Whatever decision you make, do not rush into it. Make a decision only after you have fully researched and understood what Allah's guidance is. So, pray to your Rabbu to increase the practical wisdom for this.”
This is because we have repeatedly mentioned the tragic events of living according to one's own will without Rabbu's guidance. We have also exemplified the historical facts of primitive man. (See 2: 30-38 7: 11-25)
20:115. We have been explaining Our guidance to mankind. But over time he forgot it and went astray. Because he failed to understand the importance of His guidance. This is the weakness in him.
20:116. Thus, according to the plan of Rabbu, while all the natural energy of the universe obeys the human command, the evil nature of Iblis within man is not bound to the man. So, the man becomes bound by the qualities of Iblis and becomes arrogant.
That is to say, man has the ability to research the natural energy of the universe and make various new scientific discoveries. The guidelines tell him how to use them. Because man is bound to the devil of his own will, he does not accept it. Thus, he uses them for destruction and seeks his own destruction. That's why
20:117. “O Mankind! Be informed that your arrogant tendency is always your enemy that disrupts the comfortable life of both men and women. So do not get addicted to it and lose your peaceful heavenly life. This will cause you many troubles.”
20:118. “In your present heavenly life, you have no worry about the shortage of food or clothing.”
20:119. “Besides, you do not have to worry about thirst or the severity of the sun.”
All of these are available to you abundantly. Thus, you are living comfortably without any worries. But if you become addicted to your arrogant and selfish attitudes, these living facilities will gradually decrease and you will face many difficulties. The man does not know the severity.
20:120. In due course of time, he became addicted to his satanic mental lust. This caused many upheavals in his life. In this chaotic situation, the way he sought to retain his name and kingdom in this world was through ‘his dynasty’ ‘his family’ ‘his tribe’ ‘his country’. With this, he developed the false view that he would have eternal life and eternal rule.
That is to say, he stopped living in consideration of the happy life of the entire human race and started living on the selfish basis of ‘his family’ ‘his clan’ ‘tribe’. Thus, many divisions arose within him.
20:121. He became addicted to the gravitational pull of his satanic impulse and began to taste the life of the clan tribes. In this way, his decent heavenly life was snatched from him. He did not care about his dignity and integrity. (Ref 7:27) However, he used fancy clothes only to maintain his dignity in appearance. Otherwise, all sorts of evil qualities grew in him. Thus, mankind has deviated from the guidance of Rabbu and gone astray.
20:122. However, Allah certainly has arranged for the means to correct his mistakes. That is, Allah's plan is to choose one of them, reveal through him His guidance to correct them, and make him lead a secure life.
20:123. Man's quality of life has been tarnished by his wrongdoings. That is to say, within the clans and tribes that grew up between him, enmity and conflict had arisen. As a result, he was stripped of his high status of "heavenly life" and was forced to live a low-profile life. Guidelines came from Allah to dispel these differences and make heavenly life available again. Any society that accepts and acts according to the guidance of Rabbu will be secure and guided.
20:124. Any society that ignores the advice of Allah and acts according to its own mental will, there will be many problems and crises of livelihood. Moreover, they will be raised blind in their life Hereafter.
20:125. Then he would lament, “O my Rabbu! I was visually sound. Why did you wake me up blind?”
20:126. Allah will tell him, “Our guidance has come to you. You didn't care about it at all. Likewise, we will not care about the situation that has befallen you today. This is what happens to those who refuse to accept Our guidance.”
20:127. That is how unbearable torments will be rewarded to those who refuse to accept Our guidance and those torments will be more severe in the life Hereafter.
20:128. Thus, many societies have already perished according to established Laws of Rabbu, “The ultimate result of human deeds.” Don’t they learn a lesson by knowing this? They also live in the same region where they lived. Surely there must have been a lot of evidence for the wise people in this!
20:129. But the terms, “the consequences of human deeds” laid down by Rabbu occur only after a certain period of time. Had it not been for such an action plan of Allah, they would have had an end someday earlier itself. (See also 16:61)
20:130. So do not care about their comments, but leave them in their course. Work day or night in the way Allah has shown to you, guide the community, and work for its development. Thus, you will be an eye-opener in making Allah’s programs worthy of praise. Thus, you will get satisfaction fully.
When working for the betterment of a community like this, one may face many difficulties. But those who act against Rabbu’s guidance will only enjoy a life of temporary luxury.
20:131. So, you need not pay attention to the luxury life that a section of people has got. These are all temporary comforts available to them. They appear so beautiful to them. So, they are immersed in it. But for those who work according to the guidance of Allah, are guaranteed to have a sustainable life and status many times better than this.
20:132. O, Reformist! Issue a commandment to those who work with you to carry out plans as per Allah’s guidance. You along with them work tirelessly as well. Tell them not to think that Allah's Regime is seeking help from them. Instead, the livelihood facilities for you will be available from Allah Himself. With this in mind, give the good news that only those who abide by the legal plans of Allah will have a prosperous life.
20:133. Those who act against the guidance of Rabbu say, “Why don’t you bring to us a sign from our Allah?” Tell them, “What is missing in this Scriptures from the one which was revealed earlier?” (See 5:48)
That is, there is no need for magic evidence to prove the authenticity of His guidance. Rather they are intellectually proven with evidence. The same things have been said in the previous scriptures.
20:134. Perhaps, if We had destroyed them without revealing the guidance, they would have said, “Ya Rabbi! If You have sent a messenger to guide us, we would have followed Your guidance and would not have been humiliated and disgraced.” These guidelines are given so that they cannot seek scapegoat for their situation.
20:135. O, Reformist! Tell those who refuse to accept His guidance, “Act according to your plan. We too act in the way Allah has shown. Then comes the time when the consequences of everyone’s actions will appear. Then the truth of who is on the right path will become clear.”
