Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
All the reformists who came to the world made efforts to remove the corruption in their society and to create a superior society according to Allah’s guidance. But their teachings were against the selfish people and religious leaders who lived there. So, their teachings faced hindered from spreading among the people. When that was not possible, they plotted to kill the reformists. This is a fact that has been going on for all reformists. (See 6:112)
The same thing happened to Muhammad Nabisal. The enemies plotted against him too. (See 8:30, 16:126& 17:76) But, in order to suppress all their conspiracy plans, he left Mecca and emigrated to Madinah, where the people supported him. This chapter talks about this.
17:1. According to the scheme of Allah, the Almighty, who is beyond human imagination, the Reformist, who devotes to the command of Allah, makes overnight pilgrimages to a place near the valley called, “al-Aqsa” (Madinah) (see 8:42), which is far away from the city of Masjid al-Haram. (Mecca)
He migrated to a place where people supported him in order to establish a social system under the guidelines that had hitherto been on a teaching level and to demonstrate their benefits to the people. The fact is that Rabbu's plans are supreme, with all the attention.
It is not new for the reformists to go to a place that is favorable to them and make reforms thereby creating a social system. Almost all the reformists have done so. For example, Reformist Moosa Nabi was commanded to go to Fira’un to carry out His programs and demonstrate their benefits (see 20:23).
17:2. The Scripture containing Allah’s guidance was given to Reformist Moosa Nabi too. The Scriptures also served as a guide for the Israelites. There was also a command not to act on the basis of anything other than the guidance of Allah.
17:3. The same thing happened to Reformist Nooh Nabi before him. As the protests grew, he boarded a ship along with his supporters and emigrated to a safe place. Of course, he too was obedient to Allah’s command and behaved with great gratitude and faith.
17:4. But look at the history of the Israelites. They escaped the clutches of the tyrant Fira’un and lived a better life under the guidance of the Reformist Moosa Nabi. (See 2:40) Then, in the course of time, they changed their way of life and so they faced destruction twice.
The growth and decline of societies are not something that happens on a daily or annual basis. Note that they occur over centuries. That is, when a society begins to engage in wrongdoing, its effects will be at a slow pace in the beginning, and later develop faster and finally will lead to destruction. Even if you do creative good deeds, you will gradually progress and attain a heavenly life. These are the standard laws established by Rabbu. This is termed as the “promise of Rabbu”.
17:5. O Israelites! According to the Pre-Directed laws of Allah, destruction came for the first time as a result of your evil deeds. You were destroyed by the onslaught of the mighty (Babylonian) army of Baqte Nasser. They entered your country, searched for, and killed most of you. Thus, the fixed laws of Rabbu were proved to be correct for the first time.
Following that, you were deprived of your freedom and forced to live as slaves. Thus, many years passed. You considered the mistakes you had made and sought to live according to Rabbu's guidance. As a result, the situation changed for the better. Your slavery came to an end with the help of the emperor Zulkharnine.
17:6. Because you volunteered to live in this way, you had the opportunity to win the battle and your soldiers defeated the enemy according to the framed laws of Rabbu. Following that, you got a lot of livelihoods and lived better. And your community multiplied. With the help of your Rabbu, you had become a great community.
17:7. In this way, the fact is clear that if you maintain overall social balance and act better, the benefits will accrue to you as otherwise, the consequences of doing evil deeds will befall you.
But you changed your tendencies over time. So, for the second time (the Roman warriors led by Titus) invaded against you and besieged Baitul Muqathas, just as the Babylonians had entered before, and they subdued your city. Following it, you all became sad. Thus, the promise of Rabbu was proven to be true for the second time.
That is, as evil acts continue, the strength to defend the country diminishes for the state and its troops. So, they fail to cope up with the onslaught of the enemy. This is also the rule laid down by Rabbu.
17:8. But you are still doing the same evil deeds. If you leave them and follow Rabbu's advice, you will get immeasurable blessings. (See 7:157) But if evil deeds continue among you, you will be punished again as you were punished twice before. Such will be a destructive hell for those who refuse to accept Allah's guidance.
According to historical sources, the Israelites were defeated during the reign of Umar (Razi) and they overthrew Baitul Muqathas again. After that, historical records state that most of them accepted the guidance of Allah, and democracy flourished there accordingly.
17:9. Now the guidance is likely to be available only through this Qur’an. Those who follow its advice will find the right path to a lasting happy life. Not only that, those who engage themselves in creative good deeds in the way the Qur’an shows, the good news is given that they can reap the benefits in many ways.
17:10. On the other hand, any society that does not care about future welfare schemes and lives only for the sake of temporary pleasures will be afflicted with evil deeds resulting in miseries.
17:11. If you look at their activities, it looks as if the man, instead of being interested in gaining benefits, prefers evil ways and invites evil consequences. The reason is that he is overwhelmed by the desire to amass wealth as quickly as possible.
17:12. Observe the night and the day system enacted according to the laws of Allah. At first glance, these two may seem to be contradictory to each other. But the light of the day is covered with darkness and the darkness of night is enlightened. This system is for you to search for your livelihoods and to know the number of months and years. And you notice that We have clearly described everything.
That is, just as the light of day fades away, so do the benefits of good deeds. Eventually, they will lead to destruction. On the contrary, just as man has used his scientific knowledge to illuminate the night with electric lights, so also with the help of the enlightenment of Allah’s guidance, human life can be enlightened so that darkness does not surround his society.
17:13. So, good deeds and evil deeds are recorded and preserved in the register of everyone’s deeds. They will not disappear anywhere but remain with him. When the consequences of those actions come to light, only the records of his deeds will speak.
17:14. Then, he will be asked to turn over the record of his deeds. That alone would be enough to testify against him.
17:15. That is why We say one thing over and over again. That is, he who is guided and does good deeds does it for his own good. Rather, he who goes astray will only harm himself. No one can bear the burden of the consequences of others’ sinful deeds. No one is tormented without pre-information according to the framed law of Rabbu. (26: 202)
In this verse, it is said that Allah does not destroy anyone without sending a messenger. Now the Reformistic series is over. No more Reformists will come. This does not mean that we will not have any destruction. On the contrary, the Scriptures contain a set of Pre-Directed laws that will last as long as the world exists. It is everyone's duty to explore it and live accordingly. Ignorance is not the way to escape punishment. (Ignorance of Law is no Excuse)
Further, the dangers that befall the world are all foretold. If a person has a heart attack, its symptoms appear earlier. At that point, he should take precautionary measures. If left unmanaged, it can cause a deadly end. Think of all the world events in the same way. Only by taking precautionary measures on time can societies survive better without being destroyed. That destruction will become inevitable if left unchecked.
It is also said that one cannot bear the burden of one's sin. So, one’s expectation that Reformist Muhammad Nabi (Sal) will intercede for us for an excuse is also false.
17:16. Know about the condition of the society that will perish according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah. The inhabitants who live there would not accept to follow the guidance of Allah and tend to squander their wealth as much as possible. Not only that, they would continue to indulge in evil deeds. It is in such a state that the torments of hell, the destruction, afflict them.
17:17. Similarly, after the community of Reformist Nooh Nabi, many societies perished as per the established laws of Allah. The purpose of mentioning this is to inform the people of the world that your Rabbu is the Observer of all and the Knower of all things.
So, be informed that if you go in the wrong way, you can never escape from its consequences.
17:18. So, any society which acts only for the sake of temporary pleasures gets all the facilities as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Rabbu according to their efforts The future life of such communities will gradually turn into hell. Eventually, they will lose the right to receive the blessings of Allah and their destination will be hell. (2:220)
17:19. On the contrary, those who work according to the guidance of Allah, with the aim of temporary benefits and future sustainable benefits, are called “Real followers”. According to their good deeds, they will have a happy life in this world and also in a sustainable future life (see 2:201-202).
17:20. But there will be no discrimination from Allah. That is, whether he works for the sake of temporary life or he works for the sake of present and future sustainable benefits, the yield from your Rabbu will be common. This is because Allah is the Almighty, the Ruler, and Nourisher of all universes.
This is the standard law of Rabbu’s system. It is on this basis that the world’s communities grow and fall. Communities that live idle hoping for the blessing of Allah will lag behind. So, they degenerate and fail to uphold moral values. Even if societies that carry out scientific research are economically advanced, there will be no moral values there because of the lack of guidance and the lack of concern for future sustainable benefits. So, that causes degeneration and finally perishes.
17:21. If you look at the world communities, some are advanced and some are backward. Thus, some would be better than others. But only societies that operate on the basis of Allah’s guidance will have all the resources in the present life and live better in the future. They will get many specialties in the standard life and will get a life similar to heaven at a higher level. In the case of the individual, the future sustainable life will continue even after death.
17:22. If we abandon His guidance and follow other ways of life, the advanced communities will be rebuked and the backward communities will be left helpless.
So do not blame Allah for such a situation in the world. Man as a whole is responsible for this. If this situation in the world is to change,
The man should live in obedience to the guidance of Allah alone and maintain social equality. This is how your thoughts and actions should be if you want to create social balance.
17:23. First and foremost, you need to fulfill the needs of your parents with love and affection. Both of them or one of them will be old aged. Don't even say even “Uff” to make them sad. You should never drive them out of the house. You just have to move with dignity along with the help you render to them.
17:24. And for them, you should extend the love of humanity and help with affection. Also, teach people, “Be kind to both of them, just as they looked after you when you were very little.”
Remember. If you speak one thing and act differently, you will be hated by Allah. (See 61:2-3) So, both your heart and words should be in consonance with your prayers.
17:25. Whatever is in your hearts is known to Rabbu. Only if you do good deeds according to your thoughts, you will surely have the protection and warmth of your Rabbu.
Usually, parents’ talks will be childish in their old age. (See 16:70) It will irritate you. You will get angry and criticize them without tolerating it. But if you do what is possible in a beautiful way with patience, without criticism to their speech as you have prayed to Rabbu, you will develop virtues of acting patiently. Only when you develop the ability to maintain your home and the mindset to move calmly, you will develop the ability to reform society and the country. Whether your parents accept the guidance of Allah or not! Do not abandon the guidance of Allah.
17:26. You should treat your relatives in the same way, by giving them the rights of their share. Next, come to the list of aid are the physically handicapped and those who perform their duties in the way of Allah. For this, you should never spend luxuriously. Only then you can help your relatives.
Dear Intellectuals! Think one thing indicated here that any assistance you render to relatives is their rights. So, that means you should not expect any reciprocal favors from them. You have to be very economical in your family expenses. Only then can you help others. And you must fulfill the needs of the relatives and not spoil them by helping them unnecessarily.
17:27. Those who spend in vain are those who belong to Satanic impulse, who acts according to their desires. The Satanic impulse will always motivate you to act against Allah. (See also 2: 268)
17:28. Sometimes, when relatives may come seeking your help, if you are unable to help them and are in anticipation of the grace of Allah, you should speak kindly to them and explain the situation.
17:29. As regards day-to-day expenditure, you should remember one thing in mind. Don’t get your arms tightened too much in spending. Thus, you will be subject to criticism. At the same time, do not be extravagant, give away everything you have, and be humiliated.
17:30. Apart from that, the law of Rabbu is common to all in the matter of providing sustenance. Those who work more efficiently have access to generous livelihood opportunities. (See 53:39) Those who are unskilled or work little are given measured livelihood. So, remember that Allah knows best what the condition of each one is.
So, the affluent must come forward to help the needy. Only those who cannot afford to work are eligible to get such help. No one should survive by wandering around with laziness and keep begging. For this,
17:31. You should educate your children and nurture them to be brave and energetic. Do not hire them for work and ruin their future due to lack of facilities. The government, based on Allah’s guidance, will provide a livelihood for you and your children. (👉6:151) So, remember that making children's future gloomy is the equivalent of killing them.
17:32. Also important among the acts of degrading social control is the illicit sexual relationship between men and women. So, make sure that whatever is immoral that can lead to illegal sex does not happen in society. Thus, focus on the issue of women's protection. Failure to do so will lead to inappropriate acts such as prostitution growing in society, without the protection of women's chastity, society will lose control and it will degenerate.
17:33. Next, you must adhere to certain basic principles in judicial proceedings. (👉 5:8) Do not sentence anyone to death without proper reasoning. If someone is murdered, his heirs get the right to punish the murderer through the court of law. But the background to the murder must also be thoroughly investigated and punished accordingly. The limit should not be exceeded. (👉2:178) Thus, the constitutional laws of Allah lead to secure life for everyone.
17:34. Next to the judicial system, comes the matter of maintenance of the property. Those responsible for maintaining the orphans’ property (Guardians) must protect those children until they grow up to be adults (Major) with good knowledge and skills (👉4:6) and never break your vows. Do not forget that every promise you make will surely be investigated.
17:35. And as for the trade sector it plays a vital role in the matter of social equality. It is essential to have a Uniform Weight and Measurement system in case of any transaction. These are beneficial for social harmony and will greatly help to create a beautiful society.
Spreading rumors is one of the most important factors that harm social harmony. So, people should be advised not to criticize or follow any subject without knowing it well. Those in charge of the regime should mainly take note of this matter.
17:36. Do not follow what you do not have a clear knowledge of. You have been bestowed by Rabbu the audible power to hear and understand, the vision to see and understand, and the intellect to know conclusively. Use these and follow them only after you are clear about each subject. Do not act blindly even if it is the message of revelation regarding Allah’s guidance. (👉 25:73) Otherwise, you will be questioned about the usage of all these gifts.
17:37. Not only that, but your good behavior should also manifest in public relationships. So, even when you move in the streets, do not walk with pride. It will not expose any specialty in you if you do so. Are you going to split the earth Or, will you just go to the top of the mountain by walking with pride?
All your thoughts, speeches, and actions are meant to reflect your virtues.
17:38. Therefore keep every word of Rabbu in mind and abstain from evil deeds. If not, you will be subject to hatred. You will never have the warmth of Rabbu.
17:39. Do not think that all these advices are meaningless. Each of them is said on the basis of clear wisdom. These are not the ideas that emanated in the heart of the Reformist. But these teachings of wisdom are bestowed by Allah.
So, if you abandon His advice and follow other means, the ill effects will only push you into the torment of Hell. That is, you will lose your humanity, be subjected to all sorts of contempt, and be forced into a low profile. This is the torment of hell available in this world.
So, if a society abandons the advice of Allah and follows other means, over time, there will be many problems. Along with them, many myths and superstitions about Allah will grow.
17:40. That is why you are giving names to the universal forces of nature (Malaika) as women, and say that they are all daughters of Allah. But you want to have only a baby boy. Thus, notice how great a blatant lie you are imagining about Allah.
17:41. In this way, the advice in this Qur’an is explained from many angles so that people do not face any problem by following other’s myths about Allah in the hope of bringing them close to Him. But even after listening to this advice, they seem to be determined to ignore it altogether, instead of thinking and following it. So, when they hear the messages of Rabbu, their hatred grows.
17:42. If the ruling forces in the universe had been many, as they claim, they would have devised ways against Allah to bring these universes under their control. At such a point there would have been conflicts and disasters in this universe. (See 21:22) But the reality is that there is no such confusion. Explain to them about it.
17:43. There is no conflict or confusion anywhere in the universe and prove that all their fiction is nothing but lies. And the Supreme power of Allah is beyond their imagination.
17:44. And all the seven zonal skies, the earth, and all that are existing between them are working in the best way to fulfill the plans of Allah. Allah's plans are commendable. There is no force in this universe that can stop this.
But at present, you do not have the knowledge to know how they work. Thus, when you know the facts about them, (see 41:53) you will understand that only Allah has the supreme power to create these universes and so, they all function in a safe and orderly manner.
There is no conflict in the sky. But not so in the case of man. Because man has been given complete freedom, there is a state of acceptance and non-acceptance. His mind refuses to accept the guidance of Allah to abandon man-made means.
17:45. Thus, when this Qur’anic advice is given to them, there is a division between those who accept the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah, “The ultimate result of human deeds” and those who reject it.
17:46. Thus, there are blockades in their hearts in such a way that they cannot comprehend. Even if you clarify it, they will go away as if they have not heard anything.
When you tell them that there is only one Almighty Allah under whose control the whole universe functions and that man should live only in obedience to them, they turn their faces away and go back.
17:47. Even if they attend your campaign meeting, they do not come to hear its sermons and act accordingly.
When they leave the meeting, they say, “These are all vein speeches that fascinate people. You don't have to follow him thinking that his words are true.” Tell them that Allah knows best what they do.
17:48. O, Reformist! Also, notice how they criticize everything about you. All this shows that they have gone far astray. Such people have no chance of getting guidance.
17:49. When they hear that human life continues after death, they say, “After death, we become skeletons and decaying particles! Then how can we be re-created as a new creation?”
17:50. Tell them, “Whether you turn into skeletons or dust? You will be resurrected, even if you turn to stone or iron.”
17:51. “Or become something which you think is harder than that. You will surely be risen again.”
They say, “Who will raise us?” Tell them, “The One Who created you at first will create you again.”
They mock you and ask, “When will this happen?” Tell them, “It can happen at any time, maybe very soon.”
That is, just as man is certain to get re-birth after death, so too will society regenerate in this world and become an enlightened society by following Allah's guidance. Those who do not understand this, ask the Reformist when such a high level will come. He responds that the more they work according to Allah's guidance, the faster they will progress and become enlightened society.
17:52. At such a time, you will respond graciously accepting the call of Rabbu with all praises to Him. You will also realize that the time you lived in was very short when compared to the life you get now.
That is, during the period of Rabbu's regime, they will obey every command issued by the government. They will praise Rabbu’s administrative system for getting the benefits of doing so. Because when they look at the benefits available, then they will also realize that the pleasures they got earlier in their lives were insignificant.
17:53. O, Reformist! Instruct the followers of guidance to speak in the most beautiful way, while talking to one another. Because Satanic evil forces in you will always be inciting hatred among the people. So, it is an evil force that destroys humanity and unity. Advise them to protect themselves from it.
17:54. And tell them, Rabbu is fully aware of what all you do. So, if you act according to the laws of Rabbu, you will get His mercy and help. If anyone disobeys His command, he will have a painful life. O, Reformist! We did not send you as an officer to supervise them.”
It is his choice whether to obey the command of Rabbu to receive blessings or to reject it to go astray.
17:55. Rabbu is fully aware of all the happening of the universe and the earth. On the same basis, we have sent reformists to various communities around the world as and when the need arose. (14:4)
As far as their extent of victory, some of the Reformists were superior to others. Some of the Reformists were given high ranks and positions. (See 2:253) On the same basis, we blessed Reformist Dawood and his government the title and the Scripture of Zaboor. (See 27:15)
That is, Allah’s guidance has been on the same basis. But in the matter of the teachings of the Reformists, reaching out to the people and gaining the status of Allah’s rule, some were superior to others. (See 2:253) Reformist Dawood had the Scripture and the authority to rule. So, that country became very glorious. If you forget all these and seek help from imaginary gods and saints to fulfill your needs, are they going to alleviate your suffering? Or is it just going to benefit you?
17:56. So tell them, “Whomever you imagine will help you, none of them will ever free you from your sufferings. Nor will they be able to do any good to you.”
17:57. The imaginary idols of saints through whom these people seek help, they themselves supplicate to Rabbu and fear the punishment of Allah. This is the situation of those whom they think are closest to Rabbu. Because the punishments of Rabbu are the one that is certainly to be feared.
Society and its rulers who live on the basis of such a wrong policy will be careless that no one can shake them. They say that they will not be in any danger and that their imaginary idols and saints will help them if that happens.
17:58. But according to the framed laws of Allah, the government ruled on the basis of false doctrine has never survived without destruction in this world. The destruction of such people was very severe. This will continue to be the case until the end of this world. All of these are the standard laws that have been established by Him. There will never be any change in that.
But the people themselves say that some unnatural signs must be unleashed from Him before such destruction can come.
17:59. We have no objection to sending such signs to them. But the societies that lived before it belied Our guidance of good governance. For example, to the community of Samoodhu, We introduced the female camel through the Reformist Salih Nabi and made it a symbol of the homogeneity of the social system. We also insisted on safeguarding it. We warned them that if they did not maintain it, they would perish. But they were engaged against Allah’s command and destroyed the camel which was the symbol of the social system. Following that, they too suffered destruction.
Present-day Muslims are also expecting such signs to come. They say that Imam Mahdi will come. Or the Reformist Easa Nabi will return. They are telling many fabricated theories as signs of the Day of Judgment. Don't they observe the destruction caused by the wrongdoings of the people of the world? Do they not see the sign of further social degradation? Will they not heed the fact that the destruction of various societies has been substantiated and conclusively stated in the Qur’an?
17:60. The power of Allah encompasses people from all walks of life around the world. So, it will be clear to you that they are heading towards destruction by their misdeeds. They do not heed your warning. Talking about it only increases their resentment. So, the impending catastrophe is going to be bitter indigestible taste like cactus for them. (See: 44: 44-49)
Such indifference on the part of refuters is not new. This is what many communities have been doing since ancient days. The root cause of this is selfishness and arrogance in them. This can be illustrated by the example of the short story of “Adam and his wife”.
17:61. According to Pre-Directed Laws Allah, the Universal forces of nature bowed down to human command, as and when education and wisdom grew in him. All the forces of nature began to come under human control. But the Iblees, the evil forces such as selfishness and arrogance in man did not bow to Allah’s command. Thus, the Iblees was characterized as ‘the arrogance of not being bound to man’, as man has been created by dust. (See explanation 7:12-15, 15:30-33)
That is, the Reformist explains Allah’s guidance to his community in order to maintain morals. Since he is an ordinary man who enjoys no individual merit, those who live with wealth and prosperity refuse to accept him. The Ibleesy arrogance prevents them to accept His guidance. Instead of following the revelation of guidance, they become jealous of him and reject His revelation (see 2:90).
17:62. Iblees said, “If Your intention is to honor him superior to me, then give me respite until the ‘Day of awareness’ in him about permanent laws. I will mislead all until then, barring a few of Your followers.”
That is to say, going to the highest level through Allah’s guidance is not liked by arrogant selfish people. So, they are misleading the people to disobey Allah’s guidance. They will do this until a government/social system is formed based on Allah’s guidance or until the evil effects of their deeds comes into force.
17:63. To which Allah replied, “Okay! Go away from Me. Hell will be the punishment for those who follow you.”
That is, those who act according to their own will and pleasure against the guidance of Allah will end up in hell.
17:64. And Allah told Iblees, “Enchant your followers with your deceitful promises as far as you can. Prepare your cavalry and infantry and wage war along with them. Accumulate their wealth and forces. Give them false promises.” But the ultimate results of all Satanic promises will be nothing but a shameful deception.
Opposing the formation of a social system or regime based on Allah’s guidance, some selfish people will campaign and mislead the public. Beyond that, if the doctrine spreads among the people, they will take military action against it. They will use the wealth for this. In this way, future generations will be mobilized to make various false promises and teach different principles as the guidance of Allah. Notice that this is the situation in the world today.
17:65. Allah challenged, “Surely your authority will never apply to those who follow My guidance. O, Reformist! Do your best to establish the social system of Rabbu through these good people. Our Administrative System is sufficient to protect you from the wicked.”
17:66. O, man! If you want to know the Supreme power of your Rabbu, look at the big ships that sail fast in sea carrying livelihoods. Notice how arrangements have been made for them to sail fast without swinging. With this, you can get livelihoods from different parts of the world. Is it not one of Our Great Administrative Systems?
Similarly, numerous arrangements have been made by Rabbu for good governance to be established by the good people. You can use them to control the evil
17:67. During the voyage, if you encounter any danger, do you immediately take rescue measures as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Rabbu, or do you just keep praying? Are you not taking the redemptive measures according to Rabbu’s arrangements? When you recover from the danger through them, you begin to act against Rabbu as before.
That is, Allah’s guidance is given to make human life better. When he ignores it, he is overwhelmed with selfishness and arrogance. He will seek the help of Rabbu only when there is any danger. Then he forgets Him and goes back to the old state. Isn’t this a big ungracious act?
17:68. Do you think that there won’t be any danger on land if you recover from the danger at sea? But the administrative power of Allah is all around the sea and the land. So, what is the guarantee that there will be no earthquakes or volcanic eruptions on the land, just like the dangers posed by storms at sea? If that happens, then you cannot find anyone to protect you!
So Rabbu's advice is that man should always act with full awareness and be safe from dangers before it happens. Only then will you be qualified to protect yourself from such dangers.
17:69. Do you think that once you recover from the danger at sea, such dangers will not occur again? Wouldn’t it be great, if your ship loses its control and gets shattered into wreckage by the impact of a more severe storm than before, and won’t you all sink?
In such a situation, will you not think about the reason behind such wreckage? Will you not take the precautionary measures prescribed by Rabbu to protect yourself from such danger? What other way is there for you to get rescued from it?
In the same way, if your life which is sailing smoothly is disturbed by your misdeeds, how will you get out of it? That is why Allah’s guidance is given to move fast with the smooth sailing of your lifeboat. There is no other way for man if he leaves this.
Think about human creation. Rabbu has endowed with a uniform body structure and senses of thought, just as the raindrops falling from the sky are pure. But their properties change according to the location of the rainfalls. Just like that, a man by birth is pure, and his mind a clean slate. But his mind changes according to the cultural activities around him. If the social system is developed according to Allah’s guidance, then his thinking and action will develop accordingly.
17:70. In this way, We have honored every child of human beings who are born in this world with unique identity. And We have created all the livelihoods that mankind needs on land and in the sea. And We have bestowed the Man greatness and elevation more than any other creature in the world.
According to this Constitutional Act of Allah, every human being born in the world gets his fundamental rights. That is, the right to freedom of speech, the right to think, and the right to live are common to all. No one has the right to snatch any of it. These are all legal limits set by Allah regarding human life. But as well as definitions of human moral values.
17:71. According to this Law, all people will be called to be present with the records of their deeds. Then whose good deeds weigh more, they will be blessed. They would go through the records of their actions with great interest. They will reap the rewards of the good deeds they have done. None will be treated unjustly.
But that does not mean that the consequences of human actions will be felt only in the life after death. The benefits of good deeds or the consequences of evil deeds will be felt in this worldly life as well. So, with this in mind, we should try to get a better and safer life in this worldly life and the Hereafter. But
17:72. If anyone lives blindly in this worldly life, he will be blind in the Hereafter. That is, there will be nothing special about such men in this world. There will be no benefit for them in the Hereafter life. Such are the ones who have deviated from the right path. (See also 20:124)
17:73. O, Reformist! Not only that, but those who do not want to accept the principle of ‘unity and integrity, (see 17:46) want you to fabricate some more in the name of Allah, apart from the guidance of revelation. They are determined that if you do this, they would take you too as their best friend. (See also 10:15, 11:113 & 68:9)
17:74. But you did not tilt to their side as they wished, because you had full confidence and determination in Our guidance. They have been making various conspiracies to divert you from the right path. This is one of them.
17:75. If you had inclined towards them, you would have consumed twice as much torment in this life and the Hereafter. Then you will find no helper against Us.
Allahu Akbar. If this sentence is for Mohammed Nabi (Sal), the leader of the world leaders, then think about the present-day Aalims. They are fabricating too many stories in the name of “Islam”. They have been using the name of Nabi (Sal) to fabricate and spread a lot of things to the people which is not at all revealed in Qur’an. Will such people escape the punishment of Allah?
It has been written in the Riwayath Books that Nabi (Sal) experienced untold sufferings at the end of his life. Does it mean that he left Allah and turned to the disbelievers? What a fabrication!!
17:76. So these are their plots. They have decided to expel you for some reason or the others or to kill you. (8:30) And if they kill you, will they live forever?
17:77. It is not new to plot such conspiracies. This has been the case with all the Reformists from the beginning. You will not find any change in the system of Allah.
Previous communities caused various afflictions to the Reformists who came to them. Just like that, they also plotted against Nabi (Sal). So if someone preaches Allah’s guidance to the people today, the protests will grow in the same way. Because these things happen according to the ordinance of Rabbu. You will not see any change in it.
Thus, the reformists preached the guidance of Allah, though was rejected by most barring a few people, and then plotted against them, and eventually, the adversaries were doomed. These are also not something that can happen automatically. These protests and conflicts will occur while establishing the “Salat System” to teach the people the guidance of the Holy Qur’an and raise awareness among the people to live according to it.
17:78. It is necessary to establish the “Salat System” which preaches the teachings of the Holy Qur’an from morning till evening*? You should study deeply the references of those teachings from the Qur’an at dawn. So, the perfect time for this is just before dawn. Because you have a lot of work to do throughout the day (see 73: 7)
You have to fix the timings according to the region in which you live. This ‘Salath’ system is not only for preaching His guidance in schools and colleges, but also to fix timings for carrying out social service and office bearers of various government departments.
17:79. Moreover, in times of emergency, you need to study the guidance of the Holy Qur’an at early dawn to find out solutions to social problems, if any. This extra duty is only for you. If you work tirelessly to create such a great society, the time is not far off when you will reach the highest level of praise and admiration by all. The world will marvel at the rule of law that emerges in such a social system.
This procedure, which is instructed to Nabi (Sal), also applies to the followers of His guidance. (See 3:144) And the word “Maqamam Mehmoodha” in this verse means the emperor who is praised by all.
17:80. Also, seek the help of Rabbu to progress in your action plans. “O, Rabbu! Make me act on Your lofty goal in all projects, I undertake. As You accomplish all of Your action plans, help them accomplish their objectives. With guidance from Your side, success is assured. So, help me in every way.” This is how your prayer should reflect your thoughts. Thus, you proceed according to the plans of Rabbu.
17:81. Now there is a Regime that protects the welfare of all sections of the people. So, the pseudo-anarchic regime will come to an end. When such a high-minded rule occurs, there will be no room for destructive activities. Announce this fact publicly.
For such a social system and regime to exist, it cannot be established with the personal knowledge of man. This requires the guidance of the Qur’an. Because
17:82. This Qur’an is blessed to provide a solution to all social problems for the followers who build and maintain the society. Following this, the deficiencies and weaknesses prevailing among the followers will gradually decrease. The situation of those who oppose this will continue to worsen.
17:83. Because man does not know the purpose of the “guidance” of Rabbu. He opposes Allah’s advices, thinking that the wealth he has acquired belongs only to him. As a result, the ‘haves and have not’ in the community widens, and when social problems and tragedies touch him, he becomes frustrated.
17:84. The reason for this is that every society in the world has formed its own social system according to its whims and fancies and is following it thinking that it is the right path. (See 30:32) But Allah's guidance alone makes it clear as to which path is right.
17:85. There is also a query about where and how ‘Allah’s Revelations’ that gives life to society (Rooh) comes from. Tell them that these are all related to Allah’s “Administrative plans.” Man does not have the knowledge to know about how it is revealed. Because man has been given as much knowledge as he needs to live better.
These guidelines are not something that can be learned from mere world studies. Nor are the things that arise in the heart of any individual (see 53:3) Guidance is revealed on the basis of administrative arrangements made by Rabbu. (See 2:97) Therefore,
17:86. If Our plan of action is to invalidate what We have “revealed” to you, then it is very easy for Us to do so. After that, you will not find anyone who can argue with you against Us.
That is to say, you will be deprived of sending messages and making human beings live according to their nature just like other living beings. But the plan of Allah is not like that. His plan is to take the responsibility of protecting the guidance messages after they have been revealed. (See 6:116, 15:9) The responsibility was also to compile them and submit them to the people. (see 75:17-19) So, it was left to human choice whether to accept or reject the guidance (see 18:29).
17:87. Thus is all about the guidance from your Rabbu. They are bestowed from the highest level beyond the reach of the human senses.
If one goes into the research of how Allah’s revelations of “Vahi” are transmitted, he will not get any benefit from it. Instead, if he studies the guidance, set up the action plans accordingly and works for it, it will be useful to him
17:88. If they are still in doubt, ask them to set aside this Qur’an, try to bring other means for the better life of the people of the world. Let both urban and rural people get together and try to come up with other great ways for human development. The fact is that none of them can come up with a better way than this. Announce this publicly to all.
Take a look at the social structure that man has created with his self-knowledge. The problems in the world today bear witness to the fact that man can never come up with such a solution for eternal peace.
17:89. We have explained in this Qur’an from various angles through various examples and parables Our Guidelines so that all the peoples of the world can easily understand and accept the guidance of Allah and live better and more securely. But people do not seem to accept this.
17:90. Instead, they are in anticipation of miracles. They still say to the reformist, “Make us a fountain of water. Unless you do that, we will not accept your words as Allah's guidance.”
They do not care about the loss that they would incur. Not only that, the reformist is just an ordinary man. They also think that it would have been better if he had at least been rich, as he often talks about paradise.
17:91. They say, “You must have had at least gardens with palm trees and vines! The fountain must have sounded in the middle of it! But you have nothing like that!”
But you are merely talking about heavenly life!
17:92. “Or, as you often frighten us, the sky must have collapsed and fallen on us. Unless you bring Allah and the angels face to face, we will not accept what you say as guidance of Allah.”
17:93. “Or you must have had a house of gold. Or you must have climbed into the sky from time to time and brought us some of our favorite scriptures. How can we accept that the Scripture you have brought is the heavenly Scripture without any proof like this?”
Many people are asking you in many ways. Make it clear to them, “I am only a man who came to guide you, and the Supremacy of your Rabbu is beyond all these.”
17:94. The reason they say for not accepting the guidance of Allah is that the Reformist is just an ordinary man. As they say, the reformist must have been an angel or a Super human being.
Will they then accept Allah’s guidance? No. These are their lame excuses for not accepting Allah’s guidance. Therefore
17:95. Tell them, “If the angels, as they imagine, live in this world peacefully, Allah would have sent down an angel from galaxies as a messenger.” But because human beings live in this world, He has chosen one of the human beings as His Messenger and has sent me.”
17:96. And tell them, “Even after all these explanations, if you do not come forward to accept the guidance of Allah, I cannot compel you. The Administrative system of Allah between me and you are sufficient. It monitors everyone's actions.”
17:97. “And one more thing you should always remember. Those who act in accordance with the guidance of Allah are the guided ones. Rather, those who seek to go astray will have no one to help them.
And We will gather such people not only in this world but also on the Day of Resurrection as blind, dumb, and deaf. In this way, their refuge would be hell. Whenever those hellish torments subside, We will make it worse again.”
17:98. All this pain is not due to hatred towards them. But because they rejected Our guidance and so have to suffer the consequences of their wrongdoing. Whenever they were told that the day would come when they would be held accountable for what they do and that they would be resurrected for it, they say, “Will we be made a new creation after we have died and have been reduced to dust?”
That is, their situation would not have been so bad if they had taken precautionary measures, fearing that the time would come when the consequences of their actions would appear.
17:99. Let those who are skeptical about the resurrection of man notice how the vast universe and the earth have been created. All of these were at one time nothing. For Allah, Who has the power to create from nothing.
What difficulty is going to be there to recreate man? For this, the life of every human being is fixed for a certain period of time. After his death, the true nature of what he did will become clear. No one should have any doubts about this. However, these arrogant people refuse to accept this.
17:100. What is the reason for refusing to accept this? It is only due to the greed to own the wealth they have earned from Rabbu’s system. If he accepts Allah's guidance, he will have to spend it on social development. That is why he makes so many arguments. So, greed develops in him and does not accept the guidance of Allah.
It is this attitude that drives them to act against you. This type of tendency is also present in people nowadays. Such thoughts have been growing among people who have not been guided by Allah over time. For example, the Fira’un’s community when Reformist Moosa Nabi presented guidance had similar tendency.
17:101. Before the destruction of Fira’un and his people, We sent down nine signs to them through Reformist Moosa Nabi (see 7:137). Ask the Israelites how they were treated by Fira’un. (See 7: 133-136) Earlier, when Moosa Nabi narrated the guidance of Allah to Fira’un intellectually and authentically, he said, “O Moosa! Of course, I think these are the spells that enchant people.”
17:102. Moosa Nabi said to Fira’un, “You know that the guidance I have placed before you are from Allah, the Creator of the galaxies and the earth.” However, because you refuse to accept these, I think your destruction is imminent.”
17:103. So, Fira’un sought to exterminate Moosa Nabi and his followers. But, as per the framed laws of Allah, Fira’un and his army perished.
17:104. We thus instructed the Israelites, who had recovered from the torment of Fira’un, to live peacefully. We warned them that destruction would be certain if they too act against Allah’s guidance. We also warned that the promise of Rabbu would never change.
But they acted against Allah’s guidance and twice met with destruction. (See 17: 4-7)
17:105. None of the things that are announced from Rabbu is fiction. These are the facts that have taken place in this world. These are given to you to inform the people that if they study these things well and live accordingly, their life will be better and if they change it, they will face dire consequences.
17:106. This Qur’an was blessed according to the same plan of Allah. We need to quote from this Scripture little by little so that it will imprint well in the minds of the people and guide them. That’s why, We revealed it step by step, rather than announcing it as a whole.
And this has been analyzed as chapters for easy reference to the contents of this Qur’an. The chapters are divided into sections and sub-sections. Thus, it makes it easier to know any guidance concerning human life.
17:107. O, Reformist! Inform the people, “Whether you accept the teachings of this Qur’an or not, there will be no change in His principles mentioned in it. Those who have received the previous Scripture, when they hear this, bow down before it and accept it wholeheartedly.” (See 5:83)
17:108. And they say, “Glory be to our Rabbu. The promise of our Rabbu will be fulfilled.”
That is, they know that this scripture given is in accordance with what is stated in their Scripture and that the Reformist Muhammad Nabi (Sal) will finally be given the complete Scripture by Him according to the plan of Allah. (See 7: 157)
17:109. So, they will listen to what is said in it and accept it with tears in their eyes rolling their cheeks (see also 5: 83-84).
Do not think that accepting this and just pronouncing the words alone will get you elevation and dignity Do not keep chanting functional names of Rabbu accordingly.
17:110. Call Allah, as Allah or Ar-Rahman. Or whatever name He is referred to in Qur’an, it is a reflection of His full powers and His unique administrative features. As such Allah has many beautiful attributes to denote His functional features.
And do not cry too loudly or too slowly in the sermon that you are conducting in your teaching halls. Follow the middle path between the two.
The question now is not about the names denoting His special attributes, by which one should call Allah. Rather, it is about following the special features, under which He is in action. Therefore, one should sincerely accept and adopt Allah’s best administrative system as has been mentioned in Al Qur’an and not beyond it.
And with His guidance, it is essential to have educational teachings in order to grow in the people of the community these unique characteristics of Allah to the human level. These unique qualities should not be misused (see 2: 138,7: 180). But is it right to imagine that Allah has children without considering all this?
Further, it is only under His unique features of the nourishing system (Rabbu), man can fulfill all his needs for a pleasant and peaceful life. All students need to be taught about how this system functions. This is referred to as the Scientific Approach.
17:111. O, Reformist! Inform the people, “Allah has no son as you imagine and say, “No one gave birth to Him. No one can ever interfere in His authority. Allah, the One, is the All-Powerful, no one is equivalent to Him. He does not need anyone's companion. This is the uniqueness of Allah worthy of praise and admiration.
Just as Allah's projects in the galaxies work well and are praiseworthy, so too, if man follows His guidance, the social system that develops there will be worthy of praise and glory.
